What skills could u garner from teaching that would be useful to the grauduates on completion of the 2 year program. Or are we merely extending the wasted years of NYSC. What happened to an iintensive two year skill acquisition program , what happened to entrepreneurship programs, programs that can actually help the graduates become self sustaining. Since it is voluntary what is the aim of this N power thing. To produce teachers or to empower our jobless youths .

I thought we would be creating models for diversification, self employment and job creation. You educated graduate why can't you slow down and think with your brains? The teaching job is just an aspect of the program, there are others like you mentioned which will build skills of unemployed. There is a gap in our teaching today, and the govt equally want to feel that gap by ensuring capable graduates are teaching students. There are many other benefits to this and i think you don't have the right to throw insults, you are not in anyway better educated or enlightened than anyone here, you reserve a right to your opinion and so everyone. If you were that informed, you will know that courtesy is a virtue.

So the prevention is women should attend ANC and deliver at the hospital where they can get help in case of obstruction. Honestly, these women needs help, they are usually stigmatised and abandoned. There are many centers offering free treatment to them, in Ebonyi there is a National center in Abakaliki. Also others in Ogoja, UCH Ibadan, SOBi in Kwara, Uyo, Jos, Murtala Muhammed hospital in Kano, Ningi in Bauchi, Jahun in Jigawa, Gusau, Sokoto, Birnin Kebbi and Zaria. These centers mainly offers free surgeries for women and are supported by the USAID fistula care plus project and other partners.
