Christianity Etc › Re: As A Christian, Is It A Sin To Appease The Idol Of Ur Father's House? by ichuka(m): 10:35pm On Jun 01, 2021 |
pstemma1990: Good morning to u all, I decided to post this here because I believe I can get some positive response.... From the topic u can guess/ understand what I'm talking about...
But I'll go into few details, I'm not writing this on behalf of anyone, it's my own personal experience 100 percent....
I'm from Imo state Nigeria.... My grandma served and Idol called"Eze-Nwanyi" according to what I heard, she carried it from her own father's house, when she got married to my grandfather... She pleaded with my grandpa to Join her in serving the idol, but he refused...
So the idol got angry and started killing thier children, they had 11 children, non was sick, someone will just shout from dream, and that'll be all... 11 of then died the same way... Including my father... And my father was the only one that married before dying... The other 10 did not marry... He died in 1997, and 3 years later my mother died... That's 20+ years now...
My grandma and grandpa later died as well, but they buied all thier children B4 dying...
I left the village around 2006, I've seen hell, I can't write all that I've seen or been through, but I still see this spirit almost every night, including last night... I do battle with them every night, sometimes I'll wake up with my eyes red, even people would be asking me what happened....
I came to Abj since 2006 but I can't point at anything, I don't smoke, I don't womanize and I don't drink... But trouble always come from no where that I'll have to start from zero again... And I'm not getting younger.... I've prayed all the prayers that I know...in 2015 I did 1 year night vigil because those guys were pressing me every second...
Now I'm considering going to the village to appease them... Not necessarily serving them... But I said I should seek for advice here.... Pardon any grammatical blunder.. Hi bro. Try and find out what your granmom uses to serve the idol. 2.find out the market day of ur village.we have four market days which is urs. NB you can only subdue them to the least in ur life.but destroying there powers totally in your family is almost impossible because our flesh is utterly curupt beyond repair. His Grace will guard you. Take care. |

ichuka: To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God. (2 Corinthians 2:16,17)
The Lord has not called upon us to form CHURCHES. That is not our business. Presumed men would recognized this fact! A very different situation would obtain today from what exists, if that had been recognized. It is the Lord Who expands His Church, Who governs its growth. What we have to do is to live in the place of His appointment in the power of His Resurrection. If, in the midst of others, the Lord can get but two of His children, in whom His Life is full and free, to live on the basis of that Life, and not to seek to gather others to themselves or to get them to congregate together on the basis of their acceptance of certain truths or teaching, but simply to witness to what Christ means and is to them, then He has an open way....
The Church is not increased by our going and taking a building and trying to get people to come to it, then forming them, by a church roll, into a local church. That is not the way. Growth is by Life, and this, to begin with, may be by the entering into Life of but one soul, and then after a long waiting time of another; or it may be more rapid. But the point is that it is increase because of Life. That is the growth of the Church. For the growth of His Church, the Lord must have Life channels, Life centers. I believe that, given a Life center, sooner or later one of two things will happen, that it will be abundantly manifest that Christ is fully and finally rejected there, or else there will be an adding, a growth. There is tremendous power in Life, and the Life of the Lord either kills or quickens. It depends on the attitude taken toward it. He is a savor of Life unto Life, or of death unto death. Things can never remain neutral with Him ... amen |

jiggaz: But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God….For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Hebrews 10:12, 14
Many believers are worried that when people receive the revelation of their total forgiveness in Christ, they will grow lax, take sin lightly, and go on to lead godless lives. They are worried that such teaching places no emphasis on sanctification or the desire to live holy, God-glorifying lives.
So allow me to explain here that while you have been justified and made righteous by the blood of Jesus or perfected forever, sanctification is an ongoing process in your growth as a Christian. This is why the author of the book of Hebrews says that we are being sanctified even though we are perfected forever by Christ’s one act of obedience at the cross (see today’s scripture).
As a believer you cannot become more righteous but you can become more sanctified or holy in terms of how you live your life. Justification by faith happened instantaneously—the moment you received Jesus, you were forgiven, cleansed, perfected in righteousness, and saved. You were also sanctified in Christ (Heb. 10:10).
However, it is important to understand that the revelation and outworking of your sanctification in Christ is progressive. This means that the more you grow in your relationship with the Lord Jesus, the more holy you will become in every area of your life.
I remember a precious brother writing to my ministry describing how the revelation of our forgiveness in Christ brought him into an intimacy with God that he had previously only dreamed about. “Previously, when I was trying to be a good Christian,” he said, “I was only crawling along, inch by inch. But now that I’ve got hold of grace, I’m running in my relationship with God! The more I learn about God’s amazing grace, the more I desperately want to glorify Him with my life!”
What a beautiful, true-life picture of what really happens when a person sits under teaching that uncovers the undiluted gospel of glorious grace! The revelation of forgiveness does not detract from nor is it at the expense of right living. Instead, it is the fuel that makes right living happen.
Merriam-Webster Online describes sanctification as “the state of growing in divine grace as a result of Christian commitment after conversion.” You see, it is all about growing in grace.
Establish yourself in the gospel of grace. Paul told Timothy to be “strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Tim. 2:1). Peter encouraged believers to build a strong foundation with these closing words in his last epistle: “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Pet. 3:18).
My friend, grace produces true holiness. The more you grow in grace—the more you are washed, again and again, by the water of the word of God’s grace—the more you grow in sanctification and holiness, and the more you allow the Holy Spirit to correct habits and thinking that keep you in bondage.
Beloved, when you experience the grace of our Lord Jesus, the allure and passing pleasures of sin fade in the light of His glory and grace. It will set you free to have the kind of relationship you’ve always longed for with God, one that is intimate, powerful, and full of peace, joy, and good fruit!

FarmTech: . From the beginning, b4 the temptatn started, God boasted to satan about Job's righteousness. Righteousness does not mean perfection/sinlessness. But did Job later sinned? Yes he did, but his kind of sin is not the type Christians of nowadays engage in: fornication, lust, foul words and songs, seduction etc. Job sinned by justifying himself rather than God and he calls delighting in God unprofitable. The following is an excerpt from https://sites.google.com/a/thoughtsofhans.com/what-i-have-learned/gospel/the-sins-of-job-revealed-by-elihu . "The First Sin Of Job: He Justifies Himself Rather Than God We read in Job 32:1-2 "So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God." This is also similar to what God questioned Job about in Job 40:1-8 "Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said, Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? He that reproveth God, let him answer it…Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?" So this is a sin of Job, that he justified himself rather than God. Let us hear what the prophet Isaiah hath said "Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" – Isaiah 5:21 (also see Proverbs 3:7 , 12:15 , 16:2 , 21:2 , 30:12 ) The Second Sin Of Job: He Calls Delighting In God Unprofitable We read in Elihu's speech in Job 34:7-9 "What man is like Job … For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God." Let us hear what the prophet Malachi hath said "Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?" Let us also hear what is written in Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." These words of Isaiah and Malachi were obviously not originally directed at Job. Nevertheless their words apply to any who sin in the same manner, including Job and every man before and until this very day. Many say that Job's sin was saying that he had no sin. This is true, Job did also sin by claiming to be sinless. (Job 33:9 , 9:21 ) (1 John 1:8 , 1 Kings 8:46a , Ecclesiastes 7:20 ) But if we can say he sinned by claiming to be sinless, we can also say he justified himself by admitting his sin. (Job 7:21 , 13:23 , 14:17 ,15:14 ) Or we could argue that he knew he had sin, but his claim to be sinless was merely a figure of speech or a reference to how God had covered or forgiven his sins. Therefore it is much more profitable and wise to pinpoint specifically what the actual sins of Job were. Consider the pharisees who accused our Lord Jesus Christ of sin falsely. Had they actually judged Christ honestly looking for a sin he had committed, they would have found no sin and had perhaps believed him. Proof That Job Sinned: He Had Need Of Repentance In Job 42:1-6 Job confesses his sin and repents. (Job 42:6 ) This is how we know without a doubt that Job sinned, because he who sins not has no need of repentance, but Job had need as do we all. ( 1 John 1:8 ) Job is forgiven by God and called a servant of God because he did that which was right in that he repented and in that he prayed for his friends as the Lord commanded. (Job 42:8 ,9 ,10 ) What became of Job? In the end of his life he was more blessed than he was before. (Job 42:10-17 ) We all can be called "servants of God" if we too, like Job, repent and do that which is right, coming to God in Faith believing that he indeed is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him, for this is what he is, and what he does, for he has promised, and his word is faithful and true. (John 12:26 )" o OK |

Gal2:16...nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
Job is introduced to us as a man in great fullness: fullness of possessions and of wealth, fullness of good works and of personal RIGHTEOUSNESS, and standing before God in acceptance. Then there begins a course in his experience, the meaning and the secret occasion of which is altogether hidden from him. He knows not the why nor the wherefore, but he finds himself suddenly in the course of being stripped of everything. One thing after another is stripped from him, all his possessions, all his relations, all his friends and all his RIGHTEOUSNESS which is of works, and with it all come the investing, the encompassing, the onrushing of those hostile forces with their suggestions of accusation, condemnation, judgment. There is an encompassing of spiritual antagonism and of a spirit of death, with God hidden, withdrawn behind the clouds, and Job is left stark, bare, apparently alone, a stripped and afflicted man, oppressed in spirit, bewildered in soul and in anguish of body. The circle of all his relationships narrows to the closest, the nearest his own wife, who bids him renounce God and, in so doing, surrender his life, for that is what is meant. The man has come right down from a great height and a great fullness to a very deep depth of utter emptiness, weakness, helplessness, and is as good as dead.
In the course of that history a transition takes place. You can hardly perceive it, but it does take place. It is a transition from a RIGHTEOUSNESS which is of works to the RIGHTEOUSNESS which is of FAITH. Whereas earlier he pleads his own cause on the basis of his own RIGHTEOUSNESS and his own works, you find him being stripped of all that and at the end of it all he is saying, “Wherefore I abhor myself” (Job 42:6) And yet he is still holding on to God, but this is a RIGHTEOUSNESS which has no foundation in his own goodness and works now. It is a RIGHTEOUSNESS which is by faith in the mercy of God. With that transition, that change from one basis to another, something else has happened. Satan has gradually been edged out of court. At the beginning Satan is there in full power ,or almost so with a great deal of liberty, doing pretty much as he likes. Then there is an almost imperceptible point at which Satan has stepped out of the scene and Job is left alone with God. Satan has had all his ground taken away, he has had to withdraw and give up the fight, he is completely worsted. Then comes resurrection from the dead into a place of new spiritual power, opening the door for God to come in in a new way, investing Job with a new fullness which is not now the fullness of his own works, but the fullness of Divine grace; not the fruit of his own labours, but the gift of God; not what he himself has brought about, but what God has given him. That is Job’s spiritual history in a few words. |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Church? by ichuka(op): 9:04am On Apr 11, 2021 |
2..The church is that part which is taken out of Christ. We need to see the two aspects of Adam, and then it will be easy for us to understand. On one hand, Adam stands merely as himself; on the other hand, he is a type. As far as Adam himself is concerned, he was made of clay. All natural men are made of clay. But Adam also typified Christ. The fact that Eve was made from Adam signifies that the church is made from Christ. Eve was made with Adam's rib. Since Eve came out from Adam, she was still Adam. Then what is the church? The church is another form of Christ, just as Eve was another form of Adam.
"The church is just Christ simple". Oh, there are many people who think that the church is the coming together of the "people" who believe in the Lord and who are saved. No, this is not true! Then who constitutes the church? The church is only that portion which has been taken out of Christ. In other words, it is the man which God has made by using Christ as the material. It is not a man made of clay. The material of the church is Christ. Without Christ, the church has no position, no life, no living, and no existence. The church comes out of Christ.
First Corinthians 10:17 says, "Seeing that there is one bread, we who are many are one Body." This verse means that even though we are many, the bread which we break is one; therefore, the Body is also one. The apostle Paul clearly stated that the one loaf represents the Body of Christ, that is, the church as a whole. Though we are many, yet the Body is one. When we remember the Lord, I take a little piece from the loaf, you take a little piece from the loaf, and others do the same. For many centuries throughout the world, al Christians have taken a little portion of this loaf and eaten it! If you could take all the pieces they have eaten and put them together, they would become the whole church. The church is not an individual "I" plus an individual "you." It is not Mr. Ade plus Mr. Chuka or even all the Christians in the whole world put together. The church is the Christ in you, the Christ in him, and the Christ in all the Christians around the world throughout all the centuries put together. Our natural man has nothing to do with the church. The only part of us which is related to the church is the portion of the loaf which we have eaten. This is especially shown in the Gospel of John, where it is revealed that all those who believe in the Lord have Christ dwelling in them and are therefore one in the Spirit.
The church is composed of that which is out of Christ. Man's talent, ability, thought, strength, and all that he has are outside the church. Everything that comes from the natural life is outside the church, and anything that is brought into the church of the natural life will only result in a tearing down, not a building up. Only that which comes out of Christ is in the church. Eve was not made from clay, but from Adam, the one who typified Christ. The preciousness is that God took a rib from Adam and made Eve. Only that which came out from Adam, not from clay, can be called "Eve," and only that which comes from Christ can be called the church. Whatever is not from Christ has nothing to do with the church.
Some people were very frank before they believed in the Lord. After they were saved, they used their frankness to serve God. They considered their natural frankness to be quite useful; they were proud of it. But from what source does their frankness come? Is it from Christ? Has it been dealt with by the cross? Oh, if it is not out of Christ, if it has never been dealt with by the cross, it is of no use to the church! Eve was constituted only of that which came out of Adam, and the church, likewise, is constituted only of that which is out of Christ. Whatever is of man himself is not the church. |

jesusjnr2020: My God!
I knew you were walking in error and ignorance of the Truth, but never knew it was this bad. Am I surprised? Certainly not, because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks!
Thank you for justifying the gospel I preach here by the bolded, because this is what God had to say about that gospel which Job preached and that which the wicked friends of Job preached which is the same the likes of you preach.
Please pay particular attention to the bolded...
"My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job." Job 42:7-8
If the gospel Job preached was wrong in God's sight then why did God say not once but twice that it was right, but that which the wicked friends of Job preached was wrong?
You can see how their gospel kindled the wrath of God, that Job whom you falsely accuse had to pray for them, otherwise they would have seen hell, and the likes of you are no different from the wicked friends of Job, so unless you repent, expect no less from God.
You seem to be ignorant of the difference between the kind of conversation that ensues between God and His own, and that which He has with those of the world. What you saw in Job 42 was a private family matter and conversation, just like it used to happen between Jesus and His disciples, where He would admonish His disciples in private but defend and justify them before their false accusers as the Pharisees.
You're obviously walking in gross error and the worst part is that you're ignorant of that...
You imply that Job wasn't righteous in God's sight hence his affliction just like his wicked friends falsely accused him, but this is what God Himself said of Job to the devil, to prove that Jesus had nothing to do with this false idea of yours but the devil.
Job 2:3 (KJV)
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
It's your choice to continue walking in gross error if you want, but at least you would have no one else to blame but yourself when you appear before the God of the righteous who you falsely accuse as the wicked friends of Job did, because your error was clearly proven to you with God's own Words which emanated from His mouth!
Later you'd speak about how dangerous it was to twist God's Word, but here you are, clearly doing that and much worse.
You seriously need help spiritually speaking. Job.19:25.. I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. Job.42:6..Job 42:6 [6]Therefore I retract, And I repent in dust and ashes." God Displeased with Job\'s Friends. why is Job looking for a Redeemer if he's righteous before God? 2.what is he repenting from if he's righteous before God. stop twisting Gods Word am saying these for the last time. |

What is the Church? It is Christ in living union with His own, that wheresoever two or three are gathered together in His name there He is in the midst. That is the Church. You do not build special buildings and call them "the Church." You do not have special organisations, religious institutions, which you call "the Church." Believers in living union with the risen Lord constitute the Church. ROM.16:5 says "Likewise greet the church that is in their house." This was the home of Priscilla and Aquila. This church was in their house. This house was not the church. The church was in their house. The command was to greet the church. This certainly begins to throw some light upon this subject. (1 Cor.16:19; Col.4:15 . IEph1:22-23 says And he hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." Col1:18 "And he is the head of the body, the church." These above verses planly teach the church to be the body of Christ. What is the body of Christ? 1Cor.12:27.. "Now ye [Christians] are the body of Christ, and members in particular." The body of Christ is the church. The church is Christians. This enables us to understand how the church could be in Priscilla and Aquila's house, and how we can greet the church. |

jesusjnr2020: The worst form of blindness is the blindness of one's blindness.
The worst form of ignorance is the ignorance of one's ignorance.
It's ironic that the workers of iniquity see the instance of their fellow workers of iniquity called the Pharisees, as the perfect excuse to justify their own works of iniquity, because they were claiming "holiness and righteousness".
So they would now be using it to accuse those who were truly righteous as Job, the disciples of Jesus, etc., of being self-righteous when they claimed to be righteous.
That's how the same person you agreed with, on one of my related threads, concerning this your erroneous ideas also called Job a man who God justified, "self-righteous" and justified his wicked friends who accused him of such.
You quoted a curse a fellow brethren, Paul, spoke about, but you appear ignorant of that which comes from God directly to those who accuse righteous falsely, as the wicked friends of Job who the likes of you were obviously no different from?
You should read the book of Job to see the wrath of God which awaits people like you if you don't repent and ask for mercy.
Continue accusing the righteous falsely as the wicked friends of Job did, one day you'd have to answer to the Redeemer of the righteous! dude was Job righteous before God or men in the beginning? if he was righteous before God why must he suffer those affliction? my problem with pple like you is that you don't want to SIT DOWN at the Master's feet and learn(not my feet oo but Christ feet). God was so embarrass by Job ways that He started looking for a way to deal with Job. because Job believe that sacrificing animals everyday has become his way of paying for any sinful debts of his family. go and read Job chapter 42 then come back if you have accepted Christ fully then we discuss. Remembered Job said in Job 42:6.. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes." lol so your righteous man is repenting?from what actually. abeg..seems am done here. your type don't know the difference BTW the Kingdom of God and Eternal Life.they always mix/twist both together. the gospel Job was preaching then same you and your likes are doing today. |

jesusjnr2020: It's appears you're too blind to see the part that says "the sinners that repent". Maybe to you the sins of all the wicked burning in hell presently were not part of those Jesus came to die for. The reason they still went to hell, is because despite that Jesus took away the sins of the world, the wicked or sinner who doesn't repent would not benefit of it.
Trust me, I'm very patient to wait to find out which of us were actually twisting the Word of God. The likes of you justifying the wicked, and undermining the importance of righteousness... or those of us justifying the righteous and emphasizing the importance of righteousness...
I really hope to see you at the end when that happens. At least we don't have much time left before that takes place.
In the meantime, here's another proof that God's grace is not sufficient for the wicked and workers of iniquity who don't repent!
Matthew 13:41 (KJV)
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; Jesus told the Pharisees(the religious pple calming Holiness and righteousness then) in Matt:22:29 ....Matthew 22:29 But Jesus answered and said to them, "You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God. dude Jesus Christ is the summation of the whole bible..meaning its the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is also the Gospel of Grace. any other form of preaching out side His Gospel has nothing to do with him. Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! we should be very careful of twisting. |

It's the grace gospel that after God brought the Israelites from Egypt, even after they complained and complained (complaining is sin), God showed them His goodness. The more they complained, the more He provided. But when the law was given, the very first commandment that they must have no other God, they broke it. They created a golden calf. After the law was given, whenever they complained they died. The complain they did before the law that brought God's goodness, brought death this time around. Why? Cos before the law, God blessed them based on His goodness not theirs.
It's still this gospel of grace that when God commanded the children of Israel to kill an animal and put the blood on their doorposts, that none of the first born sons died. Were they perfect? No! Were they blameless? No! Then why? Cos God is good.
Now let's go to the new testament. It's still this same gospel of grace that when Jesus wanted to heal those who came to Him, did He say "all who didn't shout at their wives, line up here", "all who obeyed all the commandments, line here, I'll answer you guys first", "all who is without sin, I'll answer you guys too, the rest, please keep all my commandments then I'll heal you"? No! The woman with the issue of blood broke the law! She was unclean! According to the law, she wasn't supposed to be out there! But she heard the goodness of Jesus and her faith grew to receive her healing! Was she good? No! She broke the law! What now happened? She depended on the goodness of Jesus!
Let's fast forward to Luke. It's still the same grace that when the rich ruler came to Jesus and boasted in his law keeping that Jesus said "one thing you lack". On the other hand, the short tax collector, in the next chapter, Jesus went to his house. Now did Jesus say "you have been a very bad boy! Do this and do that before you enter my kingdom"? No! Jesus gave him no law and the guy gave almost all he had before Jesus left.
And lastly! The thief at the cross! It's still this same grace gospel that Jesus didn't say "before I remember u in my kingdom, do this and say that or confess all your sins before you die, then I will remember you"! No! And it's this gospel of grace that Peter denied Jesus three times!!! After Jesus said "whoever denies Me before men, I'll deny him before My Father"...and yet, when Jesus rose from the dead, He said "go tell My disciples and Peter"... purposely called out Peter's name. Shouldn't Peter be burning in hell since he denied Jesus? No!
What am I saying in essence? True repentance comes after seeing the goodness of God in your life. When Jesus told Peter to cast his net into the sea and Peter caught so many fish, he said "depart from me I'm a sinful man". Which one came first? Jesus' goodness or Peter's repentance? In all the miracles Jesus did, which one came first? Jesus goodness or their repentance? Do I support sin? No! Am I encouraging sin? No! I'm only saying let the Lord Himself right His laws in people's hearts. The preaching on the Commandments hasn't helped the Christian world till now. Let the grace of God teach people what to do. You can't know Jesus mind. Peter should be in hell when he denied Jesus.
"Humans have a part to play" has caused so many heart aches with people wondering if God is pleased with them. When you have a relationship with Jesus, He'll prompt you through His Spirit in you to do this and do that, or to say this and to say that. DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR DOING! FOCUS ON WHAT JESUS DID AT THE CROSS FOR YOU, AND YOUR DOING WILL FLOW EFFORTLESSLY! Thanks my dear Sis. These is exactly the problem we have with Christianity of today. mixing the old with the new. most Christians don't even study there bible. From Genesis to Revelation the bible talks about one Person, every other thing leads to Him.the bible is His biography simple. any Christian that cannot see Christ and His Gospel of Grace in ALL the books of the bible has a problem. most of them don't even understand the full meaning of the Law,how then can they comprehend the Gospel of Grace. most don't know the real meaning of Love.talkless of them understanding that real Love is a Person!! lol. I pray that God should help us all.the confusion is very embarrassing. |

Kobojunkie: Interestingly, by your move above, you indeed bring those you are against into the very Kingdom of God.
Jesus told a parable about the Kingdom of God there but by your assertion there, you suggest that Homosexuals are a part of the world of men but also as part of the Kingdom of God. dude pls quoting me. |

Matt13:24Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven[n]is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed[o]weeds among the wheat, and left.26And when the [p]wheat sprouted and produced grain, then the weeds alsobecame evident. 27And the slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? [q]How then does it have weeds?’ 28And he said to them, ‘[r]An enemy has donethis!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’29But he *said, ‘No; while you are gathering up the weeds, you may uprootthe wheat with them. 30Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and at the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” Gay is a devilish SEED sowed in the life of both the born and unborn. the above verse said it all. |

Thattallgirl: Lol it's fine. I get your point. I thank God you believe that our righteousness is only by faith and faith in Jesus Christ. yeah its all about faith and His Grace nothing more.and that's the Gospel. the laws (the sacrifices in the old testament didn't save anyone) our problem in these generation is that we don't understand the principal of Grace and Law. as a Christian we must choose one. |

Thattallgirl: From Exodus 20, it is written that they're to make sacrifices for any sin or trespass. You believe that? Hebrew10:1-18 Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All 1The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.2Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. 3But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. 4It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; 6with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. 7Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’ ” a 8First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law. 9Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool. 14For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. 15The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: 16“This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” b 17Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” c 18And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. all the sacrifice performed in the OT was done accordance to the Law. but before the Law there was sin and God over look it then. Romans5:13. for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not counted against anyone when there is no law Romans3:25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood--to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-- I can break it down in my own understanding but I presume you get the pic by now. because its all God. he has never ask for mans opinion in His original purpose. Gen1:1 and John1:1 said it all. it was Him that created the heaven's and the earth. it wasn't Him and man that did the creation in the beginning but Him alone. He's fully inchargre . lol my bad .the above scriptures will aid you. cheers |

RepoMan007: The price was paid long ago and Jesus even prayed to resist temptation of escaping it. lol dude u are wrong. he never wanted to escape anything because that was the sole reason He even became flash @first. it has to do with two things. 1.missing the presence and relationship with the Father, which had never happened. 2.Time is it His proposed time to drink the cup? |
