Dannysimpson:I gave up on those awards in the year 2014 when they gave it to Cristiano Ronaldo despite him not winning any titles. Yet, Messi would never win it unless he wins a triple. It has become a useless popularity contest. And they would never stop until Cristiano overtakes Messi. That's their goal. Mark my words! |
scholes23:I don't usually agree with Jose Mourinho, but one thing I agree with him is that "these individual awards for a team sport is totally useless." So Cristiano Ronaldo can win it forever for all I care. That doesn't make him the best player in the world.....as long as Messi continues to play the game. O pari |
Tarzaa:True sha. Because after our coach moved up top, he usually complains that I am playing too deep. He assumes that it's because I "enjoy the game too much". But I don't totally trust that coach because he tends to blame me for practically everything. I can score two goals but if we lose, he would ask why I didn't score three! |
januzajj:At least, Messi was never on the bench when his team wins. It's shameful to claim the best player in a tournament when you didn't even play (or was bundled out after 10 mins) in the most important game of the tourney. It shows you how the whole award thing has been turned into a popularity contest. O pari |
Perpetrator's Name: Adejare Adebayo. 'Nuff said. To add anything else would be uncivilized. Honorable Member: Name Checkers Association of Nigeria (NCAN). O pari |
Tarzaa:A player can play any position. I started playing as a Center Back - #5. In those days, you can't cross. But at the U17 camp, the coach moved me #10, so I can control the game. But I played as a top 9 and scored a lot of goals in college, here in the States. So I have seen it all, and was able to fit in anywhere they want me to play. O pari |
Everything Messi won, Messi earned. On the other hand, everything the fake Ronaldo wins is given to him. Portugal won the Euro without him, but he got the credit. Real Madrid won the Euro with Cristiano not even being the 3rd best player in the team, but he took the credit. Cristiano was useless in the club World Cup finals until in the extra time, when the Asian team got tired after playing 4 matches in 5 days, then he scored a brace tap ins (plus the initial penalty goal he had scored in the second half). Now, they want us to believe that he single handedly won the match for Real! Wow!! Anyway, the good news is, every true football fan knows that the best player on the planet is no one but Leo. He's the definition of football. O pari |
Montaque:Word! I watch team and support with all the teams with Naija players. |
thesicilian:Actually, he's behaving like a mere houseboy, not even a commissioner sef. That man is a disgrace. |
saints2:BS upon BS. Even the Son of God didn't demand that level of respect. Unless he was praying for them, if not, then he needs to stop that nonsense! Take it from me, heaven would be full of surprises: Surprise #1 - Some people you expect to see in heaven might not make it. Surprise #2 - Some people you don't expect to see in heaven are going to be there. God doesn't judge as a man judges. Many of these men who are receiving these "respects" and accolades from people are going to get NONE in the Kingdom of God. Go write it down. O pari |
He may probably ball on Saturday. Fingers crossed! O pari |
2003 Nwando Okwosa - That's my cousin! I would've dated her if we weren't related sef. Igbo Kwenu! Umu Anambra Kwenu!! Ndi Igbo Kwezue nu!!! O pari |
I don't really blame him. I mean, if a top team in Europe wants to sign him, then that's one thing. But right now, he's better off going for the Chinese money....even if that means he'd miss the World Cup. *Money answereth all things* O pari |
safarigirl:Safari girl, you really know your football. That's quite impressive. Soccer girls are sexxxy! O pari |
Please can somebody tell us where this market is located, so I will avoid that town like a plague ![]() Thanks in advance! |
komekn:Good to know because I was wondering whether it's Ighalo's chief priest who had concortorted some ish to keep the poor boy on the bench through out his Watford career ![]() |
Watch Pep's post match interview here and tell me if he said anything about regretting starting Nacho: http://bbc.in/2j0mHWV |
This is a fecking lie. I watched the post match interview. Pep did NOT say anything about Iheanacho at all. The man was more concerned about the tendency of the English refs to give red cards to his team. Who's writing all these nonsense anyway ![]() |
joseph1013:Injury or no injury, Success is head and shoulders ahead of Ideye. It isn't even a close contest sef. But having said that, his injury problems since joining the EPL is becoming a real concern. And it's weird because he rarely gets injuries when he was in La Liga. I think we all need to pray seriously for him concerning what's going on in Watford. Something must be wrong somewhere. O pari |
BascoVanVeli:Exactly! Yet you don't see the commentators dwelling on it. If that was Nacho, they would never stop talking about it. We really need to fix and monetize our league so that most of our guys would start playing at home. I am really sick and tired of all the racist refs, coaches, and match announcers in EPL. O pari |
GentlemanAyo:Oh, OK. You guys almost gave me a heart attack right there sha ![]() |
Bros, welcome to my world. That's all I gotta say ![]() |
And by the way, I agreed with Pep's decision to sub Nacho in the second since they were playing a man down. However, what I can't understand is why he started the game with Navas and left Silva on the bench. Pep would start winning again once he realizes that his best team does not include Navas and Sterling. Those two should always start on the bench. And someone needs to tell him that Nacho can play with Aguero as a support striker. So it doesn't have to be either or. O pari |
onirugbon:Nonsense! When would you natives stop taking the assessments of the racist English pundits in judging our players? I watched the game, Nacho didn't miss any chance despite all the craps the commentators were saying. On the first chance, anyone could've missed it because the goalie did a fantastic job in coming out. Hence, you shouldn't call that a miss. For the second chance, the ball just fell awkwardly in between his legs and there was no way he could've gotten a clear shot off. Again, that wasn't his fault. You guys need to watch the game with your eyes open and quit swallowing every crap those racist pundits spue out. The boy tried his best....he was getting into positions but the selfish Raheem Sterling couldn't get passes to him. And by the way, why isn't anyone talking about Raheem Sterling who lost a a very clear cut chance by failing down when he could've scored? What if Aguero didn't save his blushes? Is it because he plays for England? BS upon BS!! |
slimthugchimee2:I hope you guys are kidding! I know there's recession in Nigeria but where's your dignity? Where's your sense of pride?? Listen, by God's grace, nobody can insult me for no amount of money. Insult me say who die? Nonsense, dem neva born you sef ![]() I would rather take a job that pays less .... much less, but still keep my sense of pride. Nobody has the rights to abuse someone else. O pari |
This is pure FICTION, but I do like your sense of imagination tho. @Curveybogirl, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie doesn't even have thing on you. Please contact me, let's turn this story into a world bestselling novel. No kidding!! Holla at me, let's discuss business o, jare. I can make you rich and famous. O pari |
