I support Arsenal. I believe that Ox major problem is terrible inconsistency. He can be great in one game and utterly useless in the next. I mean terribly useless not just a bad game.

Iwobi is a growing player but has not shown that kind of huge inconsistencies.

The problem with most naija players is that they are too much of team players that they don't think about padding their stats. But at the end of the day, the difference between you starting and sitting on the bench is your stat.

I think some of them are a little timid, but someone ought to tell them: if you have a chance of scoring then take the shot, even if you have a team mate to pass to....be a little selfish and take the shot yourself. At the end of the day, if you miss then you can just apologize and move on....and if you score, no one can accuse you of being selfish. Point is, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

CELTIC outcast Efe Ambrose has been unwittingly dragged into a bribing scandal in Nigeria after recommending a coach who demanded money from stars who wanted to play for the Super Eagles, The Scottish Sun reports.


Former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Sarki had claimed he decided to snub Nigeria and play international football for Haiti instead because he got sick of being asked to pay up to £1,000 to play for the Super Eagles.


And Ambrose – who is currently out of the picture at Parkhead – has unknowingly become a part of the scandal because he was a former colleague of Sarki at Ashdod in Israel.

He revealed, “I was told to pay before I am called up, that was when I was playing in Israel. [b]I won’t mention the name of the coach.[/b]


“It was Efe Ambrose who gave me the contact of the coach after telling him of my form. I put a call across to him, but he told me to speak with his assistant, who openly asked me for money.


“A lot of friends asked me to pay the money, but the sum they were quoting was way more than what I can afford. I couldn’t pay it and despite my fine form, I wasn’t contacted again.

“I have no regrets though about picking Haiti because you get picked on your form not on what you have to offer the coaches.”


Ambrose has been frozen out by Brendan Rodgers this season and seems certain to leave this winter after an August switch to Bayer Leverkusen failed to materialise.

And by the way, the level of injury he sustained or lack thereof means nothing because, if he's part of the conspiracy, those injuries may probably be part of the plot. I think it would look suspicious if he had mysteriously escaped without injury and even more suspicious if he weren't around during the robbery. I would like to know how much injury he sustained before he "managed to escape" to call for help. And also how he managed to escape. The news article did not provide those details, so nobody knows.

But like I said, I am not trying to be speculative here. I wasn't there, so I can't say what happened. But I just want to get to the bottom of it. I am not a criminal investigator but in a case like this, I think everyone should be questioned and that includes the husband.
