I can relate with the experience of the writer following my18hours ordeal at the Police Station in Abraka after the day's lecture.My inability to sort the ugly and foul-mouthed woman officer led me to be "posted" to one of the 2 cells (See how the inmates dey wait for me like #1 on the NBA draft list)..My empty pocket and inability to pay the cell tax(written on the wall with wax) sentenced me to a reception party where about 13 inmates gave me 2 blows each on my bent back before I was instructed to watch and hang on an Imaginary TV..(Pigeon holes not upto 5cm deep): As I lay on the ground; na so men dey come do marksmanship with their urine into one 10 litre gallon..I surprise when OC torture wake everybody up around 2am say one winch dey our midst... Been to police cell once for a setup. Stayed for 2 days.
One thing i will never forget there is the toilet. It is the worst latrine there is on planet earth. The moment i tried to go and wee there, my urine went back up to my bladder. Had to wait 30mins for the policeman handling my case to call me out. I used that opportunity to pee outside. Did not even contemplate shyting. Just couldn't wait till I got out. [/b]Ever since then, I value my freedom more than anything else. I have done my best to stay out of trouble.[b]

First and foremost, you ought to upload academic reference. Go to your institution, ask one of your lectures to do that for you by going through the H.O.D of your department. I think it was stated on the school portal that they need academic reference.
However, it is important to tell you at this junction that Hull doesn't accept NECO.They only accepts WAEC C5 and above but you might be lucky because some courses accept C6, so it depends.
If you don't have WAEC or GCE WAEC then the only way out is IELTS or better still apply to other schools when you still have the time. I got the same two conditional offer as yours. I have uploaded my reference on my portal, accepted my offer, booked IELTS and I am about to write the exam. My advice is for you to contact admission office to delete those documents you uploaded and start afresh. Ire ooo

Just keep an eye on your myhull profile, they will update it, but as for the NECO, Hull has been having preference for WAEC lately, you may want to find another way to proof your english language proficiency, but wait their response.

Hull University do not accept NECO. If you don't have WAEC you would have to write IELTS.

1. IELTS just open a center in makurdi Benue. Try and register there as fast as possible, there will be high chances of passing the exam as a first timer.

Something has really been eating me up, I think I need to share. I'm a young gal of about more than 17, I'm brown, tall, slim, have a long curly hair (I'm from a mixed race - Lebanon and Nigeria), brown eyes and nice lips I'm endowed (no be mouth).

I'm a fresher at UNIZIK. I know I am attractive which I don't deny, I don't boast nor make anyone feel inferior. I have 3 roommates. I respect them cos I'm the youngest amongst them. But they don't seem to get along with me. I have tried everything I Can.

Each time we go out, I'm usually the center of attraction which is not new to me, nothing special. They just hate me. I don't boast. I try 2 look as simple as possible. But guys do come for me and they get jealous.

I have tried talking to them but they said they're fine but deep down I know they don't like me. This week have been crazy,I took alot of advice from this page and was minding my business,I called him on Saturday to come pick the kids because I deserve rest,he said he would prefer coming to the house to see them,he came I cooked and we all ate around 5 he picked up some clothes and left.he kept calling to talk about things in general and I was responding fine.my kids got sick on Sunday (night fever) and I spent all night tepid sponging and administering drugs.
On Sunday night he went out with his infamous friend when I called him around 10 he was still out(something he hardly do) when he got back he called and we got talking one thing led to another and I still asked him about the text message and the girl as usual he kept on hammering on how he doesn't owe me any explanation,I told him that if he doesn't give me an explanation I would have to call the girl directly,he cut the call and I actually called her.
When I asked her where she went with my husband the lady told me that my husband saw that she was interested in tech event and took her there on that Saturday,he actually went to pick her up(lol)
I asked her how did she know everything about his business and why would she want to work for him for free,she said my husband normally come to his friends office and when he is not around he he do strike up conversation with her and tell her all about his business and she was interested in growing it(lol)
She got very uncomfortable and started talking about how she is a minister in her church (I actually bursted out laughing at this point),she said a whole lot of things contradicting everything my husband told me,he was even talking with her since he left the house.

After sending loads of applications for remote web dev positions throughout December without success I stopped applying and went into blockchain development. Last week I was replying a message on my LinkedIn account when I saw this jnr WordPress developer vacancy that popped up. I just applied since it takes less than a minute to do so on LinkedIn.

I was surprised when they sent me a mail two days later with a link to an assessment which I took and submitted. They got back to me some days later to fix an interview date, I choose Feb 9 among the listed options. The time options included 7pm, 7:15pm and 7:30pm and I chose the 1st option. The interview was supposed to last for just 15 minutes.

I left Chelsea's match that I was watching at half time to prepare for my interview. I asked one of my Nairaland friends for data and he sent me 3gb, I was all set up by 6:44 pm with a Bluetooth that I borrowed from a friend for the occasion. I didn't want any stories. If only I knew what was lying in wait for me....6:52 pm.....Boom!!! NEPA took light.

My laptop was fully charged but knowing fully well that my battery was not trustworthy, it would last 2 hours when it's in a good mood and 5 minutes on it's angry days. I grabbed my charger and extension and ran off to a nearby restaurant in my area. You think Usian Bolt can run baa? If you see my speed this evening you will like me. It was a combination of Bolt and Ben Johnson. I ran like a criminal that was escaping an angry mob about to lynch him, with the way I was grabbing my PC under my armpit I could easily be mistaken for a thief by the way.

I got there by 6:59 pm, plugged my stuffs and connected to the zoom call by 7: 02 pm, the beautiful oyinbo woman was already waiting. While she was in a well lit apartment, I was in a place with red and blue bulbs with my face barely visible even though I supported the light with my phone torch light flashing straight to my face.

She smiled immediately I came online, and murmured something, omo the Bluetooth was not connected o. Something I tested before connecting to the call, I was fumbling with my Bluetooth settings while she kept talking and gesticulating if I could hear her. The Bluetooth was connected to the system but was somehow not working, she saved me from my misery when she suggested we port to google meet for the interview.

I used the opportunity to check my Bluetooth settings well and connected to the call through a link she sent to my mail almost immediately. In the middle of the interview the restaurant gen went off throwing everywhere into darkness.... Omo!!!

I had to keep shining teeth and stretching my small eyes to its elastic limit because they were the only visible things from my end. She burst into laughter and I couldn't help but join her. It was as if she was in heaven calling someone in hell. I apologized and she told me not to worry that she understands amidst another bout of laughter that she was struggling to contain.

She shaa finished the interview with the normal I will get back to you after accessing the performance of other candidates, I still apologized for my interview settings hoping it won't affect my chances, she assured me that it won't have any bearing on her decision making as regards to selection of the successful candidate. She couldn't stop smiling throughout the interview that lasted for like 20 mins.

I packed my kaya and went home. I laughed my heart out while I narrated everything to my friend who rolled on the floor with laughter. The image of my eyes and teeth in darkness was so hilarious. This was actually my first interview and it will definitely live long in my memory.

Treating your partner as if he or is a stranger is a bad attitude that can lead to depression. You are acting as if u are ignorant of the whole scenario that lead to her parking out and coming back.

It seems u don't care anymore. Do well to remember the initial stage that brought both if you together.

I had a case where the young wife left after all pleading, family got involved but she still left anyways. Young husband was left devastated, heaped all the blame on himself.

Fast forward, they got back together only to discover she went to her ex who knew she was married and he sucked all the juice and travelled back to the US.

Young husband got to know and sent her packing finally forever this time around. She called to say she's pregnant but nobody cares.

Crazy things are happening.

Just do your underground search before fully accepting her back.

This is why christians deny this fact. The bible says a man with more than one wife should not be a leader. 1 Timothy 3:2. Even a leader of a house fellowship should have one wife.
Why would a man want to know the Lord for 40 years and decide that because of "lust of the flesh"/ second wife you decide not to be a leader? At least departmental leader.
That is living below the plans God has for you.
No true believer should limit his walk with God by marrying a second wife. But if one has already married a second wife and became a believer then he can maintain the wives equally but he is barred from leadership roles.

The OP has not declared that he is one.

Since OP has not declared to be a practicing believer not just a churchgoers the solution is that he stops chasing women.
Also he needs to know that eith the woman's current attitude she will walk out once they land in the new country.
Maybe that will be God's way of pointing OP back to first wife.
Please note that wife No 2 is also recognised by God as there is no where in the Bible where God expressed displeasure at the acquisition of a second wife.

Good day nairalanders. My first time post in 5yrs.

Will try to summarize the issues and seek sincere advise please.

I’ve been married before but got divorced within a year due to genotype issues(it’s a long story). So I remarried 2yrs after and with a child now, and that’s where my issues started from.

I know I have some bad sides too which I’m trying to change, which is flirting with single ladies, and this has caused multiple fight with my wife.

Whenever we have this fights, not physical, just verbal, but in her anger she breaks virtually anything around, cups, laptop, speakers etc. she can be madly angry. I’ve warned, petted her severally to desist from this act especially infront of our kid...but she won’t. It’s getting worse by the day. Now she reports me with blackmail to her parents and friends making me feel I’m the worst husband in the universe, calling me unprintable names. Calling me weak cos I don’t beat.

Now the advice I seek, we are planning to relocate as a family abroad this year, but I’m really scared. I can actually go alone, but would prefer we all go together since I have the means. But I’m scared if I won’t regret my actions to take her along with this her character. What if I get jailed or lose custody of our child abroad, because she’s a master in blackmail. She can turn simple issue overboard.


Sorry for the long epistle. Just had to pour out my mind. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
