A governor who against all odd has been repositioning the state despite the huge mess he met in office, is a disappointment?

A governor who inherited 7 months arrears owed by the previous administration and has paid everything while paying workers as and when due, is highly incompetent? A governor whose investment drive has brought about 5 industries to the state, in less than 2½years in office. A governor who has constructed more roads within 2 years in office than his predecessors. A governor whose water initiative programme has been adopted by the Federal government. A governor who has reconstructed over 500 public schools within 2 years in office is a disappointment?

He's a disappointment because against all odds, he has been proving you naysayers, who thought he would fail, wrong. He has been working and delivering the dividend of democracy to the people of Ondo State despite you people’s serial campaign of calumny against him.

There's not been recruitment into Ondo Civil service in the last 10 years but recently Governor Akeredolu recruited 400 fresh hands into the state Board of Internal Revenue and also planning to recruit 2000 primary school teachers soon. You should apply so that you can get something doing with your life instead of this disappointment you're causing your family on social media. Selah

Don't take it personal. The person has reasons for his statement. Defend the governor objectively without attacks on the person of that fellow.

About arrogancy, an average Ondo person is. His competence and good intention for the state is regarded by many as questionable. This is also debatable.

I was not surprised. I was at a gathering and majority are Igbo, I was called to the stage alongside an Igbo Lady and guy. We were called one by one to speak. The Igbo guy first and then me, when it was my turn, the shout of No No No took over the hall, so the moderators asked me to hold my speech and allow the Igbo lady who is the 3rd to address the audience. Na so, No No No that took over the hall turned to decorum immediately. I decided not to speak to them anymore.

Igbos are very tribalistic and full of hatred for Yoruba but they will deny this by pointing the accusing finger back to Yoruba and by forming victim at every situation.

University degrees in Nigeria are just nothing but name.. Anyone can just obtain them if serious. Again try and visit MBA classes and find out top performers. Most are polytechnic graduates. Same applies on the job.
I for one select the best candidate in an interview, whether BSC or HND. It is the skills that I am after.

Yes, the "SKILL" and that is what Polytechnic is all about, while Graduates are managers of skilled workforce. Don't mix it up. They are not equal, never been equal and will never be. Forget the propaganda. Go and get a degree and stop fruitless internet campaign.

To all those who might not know this. A staff car does not wait or stop while carrying the flag officer. It is a security risk if it does so. Therefore, any car which the occupant is from the rank of comptroller(immigration,customs,prisons),colonel, commissioner of police or it's equivalent in other military or para-military organisations is not required by convention to wait or stop while the flag which is hoisted on the car is at full mast.
The same applies to governors and presidents as well as ambulances on emergencies. It's also the same reason why they all have sirens accompanying their movements.
Please also note that this scenario does not play out once it is 18:00hrs as the Nigerian flags hoisted in all military and para-military formations are brought low by this time. The Nigerian flag is raised up by 06:00hrs.

He should have kept his job and relocate his wife and kids. He can afford to travel there once a month. Many Nigerians do this. And by the time he is done with his career, he can return to Canada to finally be with his family.

The physically challenged man identified as Mr Ukpabi got wedded in a wheelchair to his beautiful bride yesterday in the presence of family, friends and colleagues in Abiriba area.

According to reports, the couple had dated for a longtime before deciding to officially seal the union at the altar.
