If this happens in the Northern states such as Kaduna, Kano, Katsina etc I assure you no one will apply. In Kaduna state, we don't pay for application form whether for job or school under state government.

Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) is the body saddled with ensuring competent and professionals in administration are employed into state civil service administrations in Nigeria.

Just like TRCN for Teachers....

So ASCON Conducts exams on behalf of states civil service commissions across the federation, hence the payment for conduct of the professional entrance exam for *Administrate Officer* position.

There is always a certificate issued which goes a long way when eventually employed.

It's one of the best way to enter into civil service and grow rapidly amongst the rank.
