ayobase:Foolish boy!! Containing alcohol and 100% alcohol na de same thing? Where have you ever seen 100% alcohol. Even pure ethanol is about 98% alchohol. If you as much as went to Junior Sec. Sch. you would have known that. Odeh! You either have "fruit Juice" or "Wine". Fruit juice is not alcoholic. That is where Chivita and 5Alive fall into. You must be a retard to think that fruit juice and wine are the same. And for the sake of your English teacher, please stop exhibiting ignorance you hear. Check a dictionary before you misbehave. Ewu Yes, I work in a brewery. I have an RCCG pastor working with me. He doesn't touch alcohol but I do know he doesn't criticize until you take too much. Idiot. Na you holy pass. @KunleOshob Good post. No mind those holier than thou. You might as well tell me that Jesus slept with the prostitute he rescued from stoning because the bible does not expressly say he did not sleep with her. |
Gents & Ladies, I work in a Brewery and I don't see any reason why the young man in question should not. There are many practising xtians here!! the bible never condemned drinking alcohol. Even Jesus turned water into wine and in bible terms, wine is defined as purely alcoholic!! A pastor of the RCCG works in this brewery and so far he has been able to maintain his integrity and combine it with God's word. A job is not easy to get my man. Take up your job and show people how working in a beer producing company does not affect your relationship with God. If you follow the bible critically, then a christian should not work!! Every kind of job one way or the other impacts on someone negatively. I have worked for two years now and I can proudly say I am better alcohol-wise than I used to be. I used to abuse alcohol but now I don't!!! A word is enough for the wise!!! A whole epistle will never be enough for the foolish ![]() |
People!!! Let us clear this sh*t and educate ourselves: 1. That Nigeria has the best infantry (foot soldiers for those wey no sabi) in the world is true! Ask ECOWAS and the UN. No other force in the world matches a Nigerian force at least on infantry. Trust me on that 2. Being a Sniper does not require much expertise. Nigerian Army has a lot of sharp shooters. Even during the civil war, ordinary civilians were trained to be sharp shooters in a matter of days. Remember when it was said "don't shoot a bullet if it won't kill"? That was during the civil war on the biafran side when shortage of ammunition was the norm. 3. This story is probably very true. Not every case of kidnapping nowadays is carried out by specially trained militants. Most jobless fellows in the Niger Delta have taken to kidnapping as a livelihood. Some of them cannot even hold a rifle. In some cases, only the head has a rifle. Smoking these ones out is about the easiest thing. Even a Nigerian "Yellow Fever" or "Aiye man" can handle it. It all depends on the calibre of the men who carried out the kidnapping. 4. Talking about reaction while being shot. It doesn't have to be one person shooting the six. In a well planned operation, the number of shooters will most likely exceed the number of kidnappers. Most probably, each kidnapper has two bullets marked for him. The whole six would have gone down at the same time. My friend in the military told me that 5. As for information as to how they were located, fellow kidnappers could have provided that. So let's stop disbelieving this woman and look more at possibilities. |
@ Bernard. Think I will appreciate the secret weapons oh! May come in handy. Hit me: okeycima@gmail.com @poster: Don't give up hope. it might be difficult but there ways and means. Go for an ACCA and combine that with a masters degree then ensure you are chartered with ICAN. The sky automatically becomes your launch pad¬¬ |
My dear, if I were you, I would do the following: 1. Return the money back to the account or have somebody pay an equivalent amount into the account. 2. Raise the alarm but please make it sound like you just discovered. That is why somebody has to pay an equivalent amount to make it seem you expected you would have such money in your account and it was a reconciliation on your part that threw it up. 3. Pay it back and make sure the high echelon of the company knows about it or some small fry would make use of the cash and you would still have a bad name. ![]() Alternatively, Just be pure honest and tell them you wanted to chop the cash but your conscience pricked you!! ![]() The first one na Naija sharp man way. The 2nd way na clear conscience way. Whatever you do, don't touch that CASH!!! ![]() |
Describe my job? I chase bottles! Pure and simple |
Oh me God!! Nlanders no go kill me. Lai-Lai your story is hilarious! @Nubian. I dey contest your title of international mugu. By the time I release my story of what I have done for love, you will give it to me. @ Gamine. What do I say to you. Ur mama don breastfeed you today? Ain't surprised sha. Hey landers! Please Help!! I Can't seem to find the right gal to start a far-reaching relationship with. I have searched for 4 months now and no show. I reside in Kaduna State. Anybody living there who can give me an insight into where to find decent chics? I just seem to always run into the wrong ones. I have dated 4 chics since I got here four months ago and none has proven okay. One is them is a player, cheating on her boyfriend. The other loves sex too much, wants to kill me. The other one lies a lot. will not tel you the same thing twice and maintain consistency. The other manipulates me. Somebody help before I turn gay!! |
Very simple. Your galfriend is a lesbian. You turn to gal and carry go! Nothing do you |
JAMB Exams? Mine was Okay oh! Just that the Invigilator did not allow me use my "mgbo". I beef the woman sha but wetin man go do? I hope to score at least 280. Me I wan do Engineer. |
@ Poster Some people are asking you to scram! But I think you should hold on. Your man has not said anything yet. All he has said to you is make your choice. Both of u are still in school. You expect him to seriously promise you marriage when he doesn't know what the future holds for him? If he asks you to wait, that is when you have a problem!!!! Why not wait until you finish school, see what the future holds. That way, you can always know just how serious he is. I remember when I was under this type of pressure. My galfriend wanted to know what the future held for us even before I served!! I made her understand one thing. I can't say anything to you until I have served and seen where I am heading. Your boyfriend has not made you cry. You made yourself cry. Give the guy a break and concentrate on leaving school with flying colours. O gwula mu na onu!! |
YEeeeeeeeeepa!! Funny thread. Worst thing my galfriend has done to me was setting up a yahoo account and sending me a mail about an issue I knew nothing about. She knew I have a practice of replying any strange mail in my box so that the person sending the mail would know it did not reach its intended destination. From there, she wrote back and apologized for sending me a wrong mail and somehow we became mail-friends and before you could say jack, we became very good friends. We actually arranged on a day to meet only for my babe to show up in my house a few minutes to when I was supposed to go out to meet my new chic. There I was boiling and looking for a hundred ways to get my babe out of the way. Finally, she told me what she did. I couldn't look at her in shame |
Thank God for a post like this one. I am thinking of spending my leave in Calabar. Does anybody have the address and approximate costof a good hotel in Calabar? I will be waiting for your recommendations. Thank you |
olunifemi:My dear, if you don't have something better to contribute, then don't. Who teach you English sef? the person should cover his face in shame @ Poster What I may want to say, everybody has said already. But please do return to give us results so that we may know if it worked maybe others with the same kind of problem will try. Nairalanders, you are great!! Beautiful Responses |
@ Poster, Hmmmmmm, Abeg Let me have your address. e be like say you have free goods for distribution I need my own share oh!!!!! Anyhow, you try. Your brother-in-law try too. Question is: Why are you stopping? Because you felt guilty or because your husband was beginning to suspect your closeness? You have not shown any remorse at all. You are just worried about your husband finding out. I can also guess you did not tell your husband. You and your brother inlaw decided to cool down until your husband thinks all is well. Then of course, he can always use you to cool off. I am dissapointed in you. You have debased womanhood. Advice?? None for you because you already know what to do. |
Nairalanders. Abeg anybody with info on this issue should pls volunteer. I was invited to the same test and mine is on Saturday, 15th December. I have been trying to study the company profile as to what they do and all. Any body working there? |
Well, Banking in Nigeria and bad experiences? I operate three bank accounts (UBA, Oceanic, Intercontinental). UBA: Useless Bank of Africa. Uba will bill you for anything including depositing money in your account. If not for the fact that it is a salary account and I am trying to exhaust the cheque books that I paid N25 per leaf for, I would have closed the damn account. the branch at Iwo road, Idi ape is the worst especially the bulk room. Filled with old women who look like ex-pros. A particular incident ticked me off. I was behind a particular semi-literate customer who didn't fill his slip properly. The teller asked him to fill it in and the guy went away to do just that. I asked the teller to take my cash and save me the hassles and time and she told me "I have already started dealing with that guy and until I finish with him, I can't take money from another person. Do you want me to divide myself into 2". I told her she does not have anything belonging to the guy since she has not taken the guy's cash and she remained adamant. I simply moved to another person. If I can help it, i don't go to that branch. Seems UBA took all their old staff (abi na contract staff?) and put them in the bulk rooms. The queue there is something else. Intercontinental: Another damn useless bank. I have withdrawn all I have there and they can keep the N1000 initial deposit. Customer care is wacked. Ever tried sending a message through the site? no answers will come to you and you can wait for eternity. Oceanic: Okay but I have a problem with the internet banking which went down few weeks back and has not been resuscitated. Other than that, Oceanic is superb. Thinking of moving to GTB though. i have heard good things from colleagues who use it |

@ Poster I feel for you. I wish I could help but the people I know in Lagos are struggling as well. But I will tow the line of some of the posters. Look for cheaper accomodation or share with a friend. Taking a bank loan (That is if they will even give you) is not a good idea. The bank is not your friend. They only offer loans when they see that you have a secure income. I know banks begging an uncle of mine to take a 60m loan but they refuse somebody else a 500k loan. Hope you get what I mean. Could you please leave your phone Number. I will make some calls to some friends in Lagos and get back to you. Let's see what can be done. Best of luck in your endeavours |
@ Zigam You try well well. Because I say you are full of shit, na him you wan curse me die Oya, I say am sorry eh! Haba, na fight. In fact, I talk am again. You are full of shit!!!!!!! big shit |
My Guy, let this corper go!!! I no dey oh!! It has happened to me. I actually floated a thread here asking you guys how to drop her. She was becoming a thorn in my flesh A word is enough for the wise For the very wise, you no need to talk! |
My man, As is usual with me, am going to be very frank with you. Carry go! Nothing do you. But check well. Did you tell the story as it went? Did you modify any part of it to make yourself happy. I can authoritatively tell you the following based on my escapades: 1. Your "friend?" did not sleep with that chic. that is why him dey beef you. Therefore, you did not steal the chic from him as she was never his in the first place. he is just feeling bad that you got what he did not get. 2. The girl might be a hoe! Do your ground search very well. run your mind back through the period the girl came while your friend was there. What was the nature of their relationship? Did it seem to be one of sex? Be very open while doing that. If after you've looked at all this and you are satisfied, then carry go! Broken marriage shall not be your portion. As for your friend, try to make it up with the guy, but if im still dey beef, then make im put im prick for stone. @Zigam Oh boy, which continent you come from? Men (some) boast about the number of ladies they've slept with. I know a few who still do. 2ndly, you are full of shit! You need to develop your mind boy!! @ Candies I love your posts. you are simply being realistic. Tell Them!! @ Patking There is no proof that the girl was ever his friend's bedmate. So she can not continue to be one. I dey VEX!! |
@Myomy I will be very sincere with you. You are not looking for a friend to talk to. You are looking for a way to get back at your husband. that is while you are looking for a male. You are actually looking for someone you can develop intimacy with and then maybe have sex with. I will advice against thatt as that carries a moral burden with it. I have one question for you: You must have dated your husband for a while before marrying him I guess. Was he promiscous during your courtship? Did you have any suspicion that you were not the only one in his life? If you did and then went ahead to marry him, then you made your choice and you'll have to live with it. Women who fail to understand that "the only change you can find in marriage is for the worse" always make such mistakes. Now if he was not the promiscous type, then check yourself. Do you nag him? From what you have, it seems you've not been married for too long. Did you lose your appeal? Some women marry and then become so lousy in dressing that the husband cannot stand him. Do you deprive him of the kind of sex you know he enjoys. Some women are fantastic in bed before marriage but after that, they assume they hold the four aces and become so drab in bed that the unfortunate man has no option but to seek for what he is used to outside. There are lots of other things I can write about that make men look outside and none is even close to being spiritual. Look again at the marriage before and after and take a wise decision but a male friend to talk to and get close to? NO!!! If u dey find assistant husband, talk!! Another angle I am even looking at is the christianity angle. I know a woman who will not dare to be intimate with her husband in the open because she claims to be born again. I don't know about inside oh! This same woman might have been hot before she became born again!!! Want a personal contact? reach me on okeycima@gmail.com Wishing you success while you resolve your marital problems. |
@ Techie Ol' boy which one be your own now? Okay, I wan show myself. Abeg chics send me email una hear |
@Seun! Owning this site does not give you the right to talk bullshit. Blaming the driver is a lot of bullshit. The blame rests squarely with the government whose duty it is to repair the road. You know how much I pay in taxes? I am sure you wouldn't want to know. I was in Lagos 2 days ago and that road is as bad as the road to hell!!! So shut up if you have nothing better to say and leave the driver out of this. No road should have potholes to dodge in the first place and if there are no potholes, then the driver wouldn't need to swerve and of course, there wouldn't be an overturning. I don talk finish. I dey vex@@@!!! |
Well, for the poster asking about cashcraft, it is a good company but their working culture is bad. Most of their relationship officers fail to realise what their job is all about. If you can get any of them who knows his onions, then you are home!! Personally, I have suspended buying bank stocks because I see bank stocks as a big balloon. It has been growing all this while and I expect a POP!! anytime soon. Stock market Theories (for people investing in the secondary market): 1. Public offers generally reduce the liquidity in the market. Therefore, when there are plenty of public offers, secondary market stocks are likely to go bearish. This is of course, the best time to buy. A bullish market comes up when there is a high liquidity in the economy. At this time, most people have cash to buy and supply is limited. 2. Patience is key. sometimes you have to wait a really long time for your stocks to appreciate. Of course, at times you buy and the stock starts crashing from that day. 3. Do not let greed cover your eyes. Mark down a price for which you wish to sell your stock and please sell it at that price. I have a template I designed on MS Excel that tells me the minimum amount I can sell a stock for and break even after I have paid commissions. I also take time to decide my sell price and I don't go back on it. 4. Know when to sell. Also mark down a minimum sale price so that you can cut your losses quick enough |
Yeah Jford! Thank God for you. When are you coming in? and in which of the fields were you selected? Well, supply me your real names sha. Your elder in the business. Hit me through okeycima@gmail.com if you have any enquiries about NB. Which school you go sef? |
@poster, I think I agree with you 100%. for me the worst right now is the nigerian This Day newspaper. Cases abound of mistakes in tenses, grammar, spelling and the worst culprit of them all that generally ticks me off: Not completing a story due to space. You would be reading a story and all of a sudden, it is just cut off. It is not continued anywhere else and you are left to imagine the end. It sure gets to me. I think the editors in This Day need to sit up |
Men, guys thank you for all your responses. I will try the HIV thing and hope it works. I have not bleeped the chic for close to three weeks now. She is out of town but she doesn't let me rest. Calls me everyday even if I don't call. I think I will also try not picking her calls and see what happens. |
