Sports › Re: 2018 FIFA World Cup Preliminary Draw Today At 4pm by Ifebazz(m): 2:48pm On Jul 25, 2015
CFCman:
The road to the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup for 141 countries will be made known at the qualifying draw to be held at the Konstantin Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia.

FIFA general-secretary Jerome Valcke, will conduct the draw; with past and present football stars such as Eto'o, Fabio Cannavaro, Ronaldo De Lima, Diego Forlan, Russia striker Alexander Kerzhakov, former USSR goalkeeper Rinat Dasaev, Madjer, Oliver Bierhoff, and Hulk.

The show will be presented by Russian model and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova, and TV presenter Dmitry Shepelev.

Procedure:
As the Asian, North, Central America and Caribbean, Oceanian and South American Zones all have a place open to them via a two legged play-off, a draw will be made to see which confederations are paired together. Then it’s the turn of the respective confederations to take centre stage.

Africa (CAF): With Zimbabwe having been expelled from the preliminary competition by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, Africa sees 53 of its 54 member associations involved in the Preliminary Draw. For Round One, the 26 lowest-ranked participating associations from the region will contest Round One. Those teams will be allocated to two pots of 13 teams based on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking of July 2015; the 13 highest ranked teams and the 13 lowest ranked teams. They will then be drawn against each other to play over two legs on a home and away basis between 5 and 13 October 2015. The winners of those matches advance to Round Two, where they will join the remaining 27 highest-ranked teams from the region and face off in another two-legged play off, home and away. The winners of these games then move into Africa’s final qualification round where five groups of four teams will meet both home and away. The winner of each group will qualify for Russia 2018.

EUROPE (UEFA): 52 of Europe’s 53 teams will be involved in the Preliminary Draw, with the only exception being Russia who qualify automatically as hosts. They will be put into seven groups of six teams and two groups of five teams according to the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking of July 2015, with each team playing each other home and away between 4 September 2016 and 10 October 2017. It should also be noted that UEFA have requested that England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands must be drawn into a group containing six teams.

As an integral part of the European Qualifiers concept, UEFA will make arrangements for the teams drawn into the two groups of five teams to organise centralised friendly matches for the ten teams concerned as well as for Russia (in principle, with Group I). UEFA will announce the dates and kick-off times of these friendlies in due course after the Preliminary Draw.

The nine group winners will qualify for Russia 2018, while the eight best group-runners up will take part in a play-off in November 2017.

The fact that they were born into rich families doesn't guarantee them success in the future. Wealth can be lost and mishandled
Exactly, just like being born poor does not guarantee such. Nor does it even give them the opportunity to meet the big wigs that the rich kids do.
So bottom line is, the three things are involved in every sphere of life of entrepreneurs.
Business › Re: Entrepreneurs: Born Or Made Or Lucky ? -lets Discuss by Ifebazz(m): 8:21pm On Jul 24, 2015
hahn:
No one is born to be anything. Your choices, experience, background and point of view(my personal favorite) aid in making you who you are supposed to be.

As regards successful entrepreneurs, you will have to agree that their stories aren't coherent. Take for instance, Mark Zuckerberg who has become a billionaire at such a young age as opposed to Ray Croc who became rich afer the age of 50. The only traits consistent with success are a never-say-die attitude, the willingness to try out new things, a clear set goal and most importantly, in my own opinion, the ability to focus entirely on finding a solution to a need amongst other things. Majority of the richest men, great inventors never worked towards becoming rich, even though they had a total disdain of poverty after experiencing it first hand, instead they were more concerned about solving problems.

Soichiro Honda made his break by inventing the motorcycle after the war in China(I don't know the particular war offhand) after observing that people needed a cheaper more efficient mode of transportation.

Even Mark Zuckerberg only wanted to create something his classmates could use to keep in touch and look at what that has turned into.

Key to becoming successful: Find a need and seek to solve it or find a niche and try to do things differently. Always learn and improve on yourself and always think outside of the box
I guess Dangote's children were not born to be rich. Nor were Otedola et al. You can't use one yardstick to explain life as a whole.
Some born, others made, while yet others lucky.

Seriously, I don't trust the Nigeria police. It's always same set of guns and ammunition they have on display. I know many a man there is absolutely innocent of the said crime, (probably caught wondering or unable to 'pay bail' stipulated for his release) yet pictured with other suspects. Police need a change more than Nigeria as a whole.
A long time ago, I was almost arrested at Toyota for carrying electronics I bought. But most Nigerians will not know that it's actually 'illegal' for the police to ask for your ID or receipt without warrant.
I appreciate the police for the risk they take daily on our behalf, but they so oppress us many a times more than welcomed.

Speed break result to accident? please you have to explain...

If you read my post very well, you will understand better. I said it is not normal to place speed breaks on trunk A roads. It is very unusual... but for the case at that Ugbowo road, it should be a temporary measure before the construction of flyover.

Flyover is not what is constructed over night. It might take the government up to two years to construct a flyover because government works are always slow. So before flyover is constructed, speed breaks can serve as a temporary measure to cushion the high speed of motorist. If they decide to wait for the government to construct a flyover, someone might fall a victim before them.

On a normal circumstances, there should be either traffic men or road safety or police men at the front of any school or church or big malls located along the express road to help control traffics but since our government has place a ban on that, speed breaker become very necessary when there is no flyover.
You still haven't shown me where there are speed breaks along that Onitsha Lagos road. Trunk A roads are different from other routes. Talking about traffic warders, very funny indeed.

butanep:
the harm the speed break will cause is traffic...

It is better there is traffic than death. I know it is very difficult to construct speed break on trunk A roads but we have to consider the lives of the student.

Over head bridge can take the government more than two years to construct due to their slow pace work just exactly what happen in Auchi poly but it is completed now. So speed break will be needed before the construction of the bridge.
Dude if you have travelled from Onitsha to Lagos before I'd like for you to show me where there is a speed break. None. Cos it's a 'highway'. Meaning vehicular movement is anticipated to be fast. Do think that the people using that road are just Benin or people from the neighbourhood alone? That’s why they don't fix speed breaks on highways. If done, in a couple of years, you will lead campaign for its removal believe you me. You just think it's adverse effects is traffic right, probably you don't think of the accidents it would cause too. Maybe by then one overzealous Christian would then it's the witches in Benin that are causing the accidents.

Not just providing any pedestrian bridge but one not far off from the pedestal traffic. If they erect one in between Uniben and UBTH it will be as good as useless cos nobody will want to use it. It should be very close to the Main Gate, that's where it is needed.

Henryblaise800:
Often times, so many of us find it iretating and get pissed off each time we wish to share files on whatsapp to our friend and colleagues outside the normal audio, video and image file sharing.. Yea, i know, sometimes, theres an urgent need to share files like .zip, .txt, .apk, and other file extensions only to find out that you cant do that on the normal popular quick chat society "whatsapp"

Today i bring to you good news, cause now you can easily share any file format on whatsapp with people in groups, maybe broadcasting those files to everyone using the mediafire application for android. Did I hear someone say "How is that possible, share files via mediafire on whatsapp?

Yes the official mediafire application can make this process a lot easier for you to share any file with anyone using whatsapp. Now all you need is the file in your phone, mediafire application and whatsapp fully activated with your number.

STEPS BY STEP GUIDE

Install the Mediafire Application and WhatsApp in case you are not having.
Now make sure that the file you wanna send is present in your phone.
Open the mediafire application and create your free account in it.
Now you need to upload the files that you wanna share with people on whatsapp on mediafire, it can be done easily.
After your file is uploaded on mediafire, click the button and share option will be visible to you.
In that you will see the WhatsApp option, choose that and then select either the person, group or broadcasting channel.

That’s it, now your file will be sent to that particular person, in case your friend wants to have a look on that file, he can either view it directly, or transfer the file to his or her computer and see the file easily.

I know some guys will find this whole process confusing, but no need to worry, thats why we have the comment box there for you!

If you find yourself over 35 years without boyfriend not to even speak of a husband you will have to pray that God deliver you from spiritual husband. All you meet is ashawo man to ashawo man. All they want to do is chop, clean, wipe mouth with your future. God said go ye and multiple and you can only have marital children when you are married.

If your guy is also over 35 years old and you cannot seem to settle down in life, you will have to pray for God to deliver you from spiritual wife that stops you from meeting the right woman to marry. You might only move from ashawo to ashawo, every nice girl you meet runs away from you like hell fire. You have a spiritual wife frustrating you life because you spend money from one ashawo to another.

The devil will not prevail, you will marry, but you will have to ask God for your deliverance from the spiritual husband or wife.
You yourself need special deliverance to stop thinking in your petty deliverance manner. Easy to know these penterascals. Everything is devil and it must be fire and brimstone and die die die enemy die that solves it. Go and seek deliverance first from your myopia before you give advice.
