Can somebody help me pop this cork? I'm in the zone tonite! A toast to the last bastion of CHAMPAGNE soccer. Go Arse!!!!!!!!! |
What ill fortune has befallen the Mancs. They are playing ARSENAL?! God save the queen! |
They'd as sooner send you to sleep than win a game! |
I do not think that L'arse will play 451 at home against Villareal when all our strikers are healthy. Van persie had a late test this morning ans if certified ok, he will start. It will be a 442 with a toss up of who should anchor between Song and Denilson. Then a choice between Eboue and Walcott given the Gibbs situation. I think there would have been a slight chance of 451 if Van persie flunks his test, but our guy-in-the-hole, Diaby will not start as he has just trained for a day. Remember we have to reserve for saturday too. |
Been wondering why Rio has a twisted (toto) mouth. Now I know! INDIAN HEMP!!! |
Did they remember to test Alex for Anabolic Steroids?. You cant put anything beyond these Chavski. Scoundrels! |
The Manure I know would have swept this Porto side away even if the game was played in the moon. But this laterly scumtwats (?!) are so lethergic that I cant even bet my excreta on them! The smart money is on PORTO |
Wenger has confirmed Gibbs for left back and Sylvester for central defence. I pray he should start Eboue on the right instean of Walcott so that if there's trouble, Gibbs goes off for Walcott and Eboue goes to full back. That way our offensive balance will be retained. I still think it's a risk though |
Tonk, tonk. Echo of '04. Tonk, tonk!! |
Passion and pain is all the same. Chelsae won yet they are still crying. A sign of the times? @^ what we love in football?!! Well, ask your husband or boyfriend. If you have one, that is! |
This match might just turn out easier for L'arse than imagined. My only worry is the left wing back position but going by Wenger's single minded pursuit of a trophy now, I think he'll send Sagna to the left with Ebue on the right. Could be a stroll |
The way L'arse are losing players is pretty scary. Thank heavens there's an echo of the same in Villareal. Senna? That is massive! We are compensated. |
Almunia Sagna Toure Gallas Clichy Denilson Song Walcott Fabrigas Nasri adebayor |
Wouldn't know what happened to Nani. Had bags of potential and maybe he's done in by extra-football activities. Coming at the price he did who'll buy? I see a loan stint next season. |
Come the hour, come the man! Cake walk for the guys with the gun 2_0, L'arse! |

Malu òwa bai |
Could have been mammoth if Arshavin could play in Europe. Playing the classic Hleb (now Diaby) role just behind Adebayor for away games will be plum in a 451 formation. Well, we can't have it all can we? |
Only Nasri should be back, I think. And maybe RVP.Villareal did not rest much of their squad in the loss. Senna was injured thatz why he did not play but I just heard he might be ready for tuesday but they lost Carzola. No team at this stage of the competition is easymeat and that goes for villareal too. But you should keep your hair on! L'arse will win!! |
Mikel is about the best Nigerian player right now so I do not think he is the cause of the team's problem. However, if the team played poorly, that means Mikel (ditto the rest of them) should be criticised. That said, I have VERY big issues with Mikel's development as a player in relation to the position he now plays as regards; His intensity, his playmaking,,and the ability to influence and change games. Make no mistake about this, there are deep lying midfielders in world football(no.4) who pull as much strings as the attacking midfielders(no.10) so Mikel can make the best of his present position and still be the best player in the world. Does he cut the mustard now? NO! We'll explore this in days to come.tc |
My sunday has just imploded spectacularly. Fuc.k you Villa! |
No peace for the wicked!. The Neviller was done by the cross for the Villa goal. He was shunted to full back to av a breather. But no! Ashley Young persists in turning his father!!! |

The manures are turning to fertiliser. Good goal Villa! |
How come you feel I think Mikel should be blamed? The hole team was dross in mozambique |
Drat! Manure scores against the run of play! Come on Villa!!! |
Dream?, what dream?. Arsenal can win the FA. and the Champions league! Thatz a double!! |
@chidi+maita; You guys have a valid argument on Mikel. Even on Chelsea forum's there's been arguments on what Mikel is and what he should be; an attacking or defensive midfielder. But what I find baffling is that two adults like you will slide to the murk of using gutter language to try to demean what should ordinaryly be a valid point from the other. I do not see how GRAMMER should come into this neither do I know of a situation where a footballer's WEALTH is an indices of how successful as a footballer he is. You guy's are obviously intelligent but intelligence doesn't know right or wrong. You can be intelligenct and still wrong! I could point out, what I think, are the flaws in you two's argument but it doesn't make me right or more intelligent. To come to fora to put down a fellow man doesn't show you guys up in good light. Cut the insults and get on with your VERY intelligent debate. Peace |
Can you stop a moving train?!. Go, Gunners, for the double!! ![]() |
This United team with their rash of suspensions and injuries do not appear capable of winning even against a crestfallen Aston Villa. I see a score draw. |
Right now, to me, Malouda is the greatest waste of space. To think this guy was bought to replace Robben will make you understand the MONUMENTAL failure he has turned out. |
