You are 40,so what?Like someone would say,marriage is not a passport to heaven;Am sure you must have been getting lots of propositions from Nigerian men who never miss an opportunity.My candid advise is,do not add to your problems by being desperate;Have you taken a statistic of happily married women in the real sense of it?Truth is,there are only a few of them who have bliss in their homes.My sister,what will be will be;if you are destined for marriage it will happen,no matter how late.Don't give in to pressure;Live your life and it shall be well.

They are a bunch of pretenders;eitherway,its hard to satisfy them.

Its not easy to maintain;lonely nights,doubts,fear of 'can he hang on without misbehaving?'.But where there is love and trust on both sides,i think it can work.

I only just stumbled on this discussion and i felt maybe i could get some help with my problem;i actually had my baby about 10years ago and since then,i had not conceived for a day;it had never really bothered me until in recent times and am now at a loss as to where to start from.

It happened between two consenting adults;no big deal;they must have felt a thing for each other;if they are not marrying because of the society we are,they should just know they are bringing forth a life and work towards taking care of the baby;as to not disclosing it,i dont know for how long they want to conceal it;if it felt right to do it,then it must feel right to own up.

In five years she will be 23-so, its not as if she will be an old maid by then;my take on the issue is,take things one step at a time;5yrs is still a long time away;suppose feelings fade before then?what if you will be the one to dump her when you get abroad and find love in someone else arms?My brother,this thing they call love is very funny;just believe that what will be will be.

It unfortunate that things have really taken a turn for the worse with this scheme;time there was when the nysc uniform would attract to corp members in the community of service,every respect imaginable;then they were seen as a group of young men and women who have chosen to help develop the communities;and to think those of them who served as ad hoc staff during the last elections were not paid when many of them paid the supreme price;what is the matter with Nigeria?

Maybe its about time for him to quit;but i think the old man deserves some accolades-even if all Nigerians see is his negative side,lets not lose sight of the fact that baba iyabo is respected outside the shores of this land;but honestly,i think he should just employ the 'siddon look' now,taking a cue from the Madiba,Nelson Mandela.That is the only way i think he would command some measure of respect from Nigerians.
