He's awesome, a super man. He has been able to happily tolerate me and my truckload of wahala, accept my imperfections, put up with my antics, that alone makes him my hero! I rejected his proposal twice and he held on, worked on himself because he was sure I was his missus right from the very first kpekus. They say a woman holds the home but I say I'm holding my mans heart while he holds the home. He's got an awesome love for me, there's no way I can get out of it, him or our marriage even if I tried. I'm so happily stuck with him for life. When he's not with me, I miss his singing(he thinks he's the next awilo), his cooking(he makes the best amala) and our bedroom fights. My otolege |
^very true! The idea of "I would be remembered forever, the bullies would live with the guilt of my death etc" would offer them that "its OK/you've got a reason afterall" feeling. Too bad. |
My father never did and that's because he rarely "punished" anyone. My mom on the other hand did. She'll apologise then appease with food or something. As a mom, I think I would and I should. The chances are slim anyhow because I check thoroughly before I "correct". There's no biggie in saying "I'm sorry" and if one can't even apologise to his or her family then there's problem. |

@Eddy, sup? The WWE thread still up and going?I don't come that side anymore. Few weeks back, Cena was rumoured dead, I almost "deaded" too. Lol #Cenation for lyfe# |
@OP, according to your write up, her first child was fathered by a black man so what really is the problem here ![]() |
Anti virus na you use your hand dey scatter your thread oh. You started it well but lost bearing along the way. What makes ekpe and all those festivals Odumchi listed "non igbo and borrowed" ? I would want to know. "ofalla" is celebrated in a couple of towns in anambra, so I guess ndi Imo, abia etc can equally term ofalla as non igbo and borrowed? @topic, Both! Igbo is first a nation then a tribe. A nation of tribes intertwined by geography, language, culture. |
My prayers are with the wife and still young kids, his first son is less than or just about 15 years old. |
afam4eva: Pls can someone put up a picture of the Man.Afam, you don't know him? Strange! Him, voice of the cross and maybe one or two others are the only real "igbo gospel singers" he infact is known as "the preacher". Go and look for him in youtube. Listen to tracks like : Bianu ka anyi kele Onye nwe m na-edu m ije. Ole ebe ka nsopuru m no |
Awurade! We've really lost a gem. I didn't hear about his sickness. Omgosh! I can't just stop the tears. Men like him are rare to come by. His songs so inspiring . Omgosh!!! |
I hope the cookie is not on its way to crumbling. . .? There must be something about Chinenye's opinion. How come most times his views tend to draw the discussion away from the main issue and focus on him, then ala Ngwa? Could it be that we are deep down "interested in knowing more about our Ngwa brethren"? Maybe we can open a thread someday to ask our Ngwa brothers questions?no insults, an educative question and answer session. @topic, I believe Igbo is a nation. Its ala Igbo first before ndi Igbo. (lol @ my very ridiculous input) |
So, you are a 'freeborn from Ikeduru' but yet you married a Ghanaian? Nna, you don become "international osu" by default. You need cleansing. Charley, wetin dey?come block me for Tawarla beach later in the day make we chop better tilapia and banku. Use the search button. This topic has been over flogged here. Just gather all the threads(I'm sure they are more than 10), read, copy and paste accordingly. Midase! |

Choi! I've never seen more * * * people. Does being unemployed affect peoples ability to reason and ask questions? No information, no detail whatsoever and people are falling all over themselves. I'm sure if they ask them for their parents middle names, they'll oblige too. Chei! Coming from "graduates" too. Something is wrong with our educational system. |
OP, does your wife, she whose body was torn, have a say ? You can as well get needle and sew her up, no? If this is a trick question, I jump and pass. |
Ihedinobi that was an awesome post. Very deep. I've always believed that people who are yet to identify themselves, know what they want in life as singles have no business getting married. When you carry over unresolved self esteem, financial, emotional issues to marriage, you are bound to either suck it up(be abused) or act it out(abuse your spouse) Find, act and be the "real" you, the wo/man that would love you for "you" would come along someday. And s/he is coming with your "manual" cos s/he already knows you as you are. |
Asides the fact that some of the pedestrian bridges might not be in top notch, I believe its cos of the usual lagos man mentality. The mentality of "short cut and hurry hurry" Even people that have no "destination" are in a hurry in lagos. Lol. Make we hear say dem dey give free gala and coke for ontop pedestrian bridge, you won't see anyone crossing the highways. Lagosians love rushing, freebies and disorder. Eko ile, please there should be a traffic light atleast between jakande roundabout and Igbo efon.take note, please. |
How this take concern Jonathan? Unless I read the report wrongly, the major culprit here is the man(the girls dad) who inspite of his exposure and education is still reasoning through his anus. He obviously knew before hand and consented to this rubbish. Old story, btw. |

Nice acceptance speeches by eze and eze nwanyi elect, odumchi and ogugua. I thank you both for accepting to serve ndi Igbo and may the gods of our lands give you both the wisdom to lead us well. Okija Nwanne, you did well too. Let us all throw away our differences and grudges, rally round this new government and forge ahead. Ka ihe nile bere na abali buru anwunta, inu? Igbo Amaka. |
The rich also cry. Does it mean the deputy gov didn't have "enough" thugs to match the senators own or he's lily livered? |
Congrats to odumchi and ogugua. Well won. Congrats to only truth and policewoman, well contested. Thank you the electoral. Team. Welldone. @odumchi and ogugua, the work/journey just started. I'm pledging my 100% support and allegiance. Ndewo nu! |
