To what advantage is the suspension. With d recent committee set up to look into performances all Amaechi loyalist from wards to LG etc would be suspended becos they'd not submit to d committee. Without a new election at d ward level and LG levels how would Wike/Obuah replace them. GEJ needs those numbers at d primaries. Amaechi is still d power broker here. |

0nlytruth: And who told you that he did not secure any serious commitment from Obi? The problem with you Nigerians is that you tend to forget too quickly key information pertaining a person. Soludo is not a political neophyte. He has been into politics right from student union days at the UNN in 1984. He has always been a poltical animal. He is ALSO A FIRST CLASS BRAIN. Combine those two qualities and what you have is a potential political legend. That people like him are not running Nigeria is a testament to the country's inate self destructive tendencies.
Peter Obi is making the exact same mistake you are making here, and that is to assume that the rest of your opponents are fools. Well, we shall see. But this may lead to a loss to Jonathan in 2015. Anambra state is like the engine room of Igbo opinion. With Rochas in APC, if Ngige wins Anambra, it is all over for Jonathan in 2015. One strategy Ngige/APC would adopt is to offer Soludo deputy governor slot and that is it. Finish. Click like if u understand |

Christianity Etc › Re: ''born Again'' -what Did Jesus Mean? by igala1(m): 1:24pm On Jul 21, 2013 |
curfew: the bible explains itself, but the wise men of this world go to and fro looking for knowledge, deceiving and being deceived. here is the meaning of being born again:
"A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them." (Ezekiel 36:26-27).
forget what the so called pentecostal say that if you confess your sin and accept JESUS, there and then, you are born again. only the CREATOR can create a new man. Well explained. Being born again isn't simply repetition of confession but it is evident in ones lifestyle |
Christianity Etc › Re: ''born Again'' -what Did Jesus Mean? by igala1(m): 1:18pm On Jul 21, 2013 |
Monimatic: To be born again you must"confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10. After Adam and Eve disobeyed God, man became a corrupted being and lost his righteousness with God, so every. one born into this world, whether young or old, man or woman, boy or girl is born with nature of sin and corruption which was as a result of Adam and Eve disobiedence, and they were sent out of the garden of Eden because they have lost their righteousness. and have being corrupted with sin. Please note, righteousness is not forming HOLY HOLY, or be trying to be sin conscious, thaat is the misconception millions of christian have worldwide, many churches and pastors still don't understand righteousness. RIGHTEOUSNESS is the life of God in the human life, and that life is in his son Jesus Christ, you only get that life and become righteous by confessing Jesus Christ as Lord over your life and believing in your heart that he is the son of God and he died, resurrected and he is sitted at the right hand side of God. Like I said above by virtue of Adam and Eve disobedience in the garden of Eden, man automatically lost his righteousness with God and carried on a nature of sin, untill you act on Romans 10 vs 9-10, you are not saved yet. Being born again is different from forgiveness of sin, if you ask for forgiveness of sin and not yet born, then you are not yet saved, many christians, churches and pastors still confuse the concept of FORGIVENESS OF SIN with the concept of BEING BORN AGAIN,do a comprehensive BIBLE STUDY on these two concepts and you will see they are different. The death of Jesus,,was a means to an end, the kingdom of God is the end it self, by being born again, you become initiated and a citizen of the kingdom of God. BEING BORN AGAIN, IS YOUR VISA TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. All you do is confess Romans 10 vs 9-10, confess it loud by personalizing it to your self and believing it whole heartedly. Still in Church(Christ Embassy), see u guys later? Well since all must be 'born again' to make heaven, so at what age would a pastor's child be born again if he is a christian from birth? |

pro01: Ameachi would be a big fool (which I'm convinced he is anyway) to believe that the speaker and the rest of the "loyal" House of Assembly members. . .and even his own commissioners. . .would be ready to swim or sink with him. He has come to the end of his political career. The others still harbour ambitions.
Do you think the Speaker would still stand by Amaechi if he is offered a Senate ticket in 2015? Do you think the other principal officers in the House would refuse the juicy offer of PDP tickets to the Federal House of Reps? Do you think the Deputy Governor (Ikuru) would like to retire from politics prematurely when he can show loyalty to the PDP high command and preserve his political future? These are the issues. Amaechi would ultimately go down alone, his current loyalists would dump his sorry ass in a heartbeat in furtherance of their respective political futures. There are indications that GEJ would not get same landslide victory of 2011 election. Pro-Amaechi are mindful of this fact. They are not loyal to Amaechi simply for the sakes, they are becos before their eye the dethroned Ake-led PDP chair was removed when everyone witnessed the election at Civic centre. Again, they got suspended by Felx Obuah led-PDP. They are only standing by the truth. Until they are recalled and Ake returned. They can't be bribed. |

awodman: Ribadu challenge the facts abati raised? 1) did you once describe Bola Tinubu as a corrupt official and one who is unelectable? 2)Did you once draw up a list of politicians describing them as corrupt and barred them from contesting election without a court order to that effect? 3)Did you once go on a self imposed exile? 4)When you came back from the exile did Jonathan's administration restore your rank?
Those are the issues you have to address... Abati should do a research to save himself. Did he not question Dame's authority and blasted her over her arrogance at Okrika against Gov Amaechi? His cup is full and would soon empty out like Fani-Kayodes'. |

Politics › Re: President Jonathan’s Faulty Self-Assessment by igala1(m): 11:09pm On Jun 10, 2013 |
t-something: I was hoping that for someone to measure the success or failure of this government it should be based on facts and relative to past governments of Nigeria. For example, let's ask ourselves what was the state of our roads in 2011 and what is the state of our roads currently? What is the total length of roads completed by this govt in 2 years and we also compare it the total length of roads completed by past administrations in their first two years. I believe this would give us a good picture if we are making progress or not. This method can be used to compare other sectors based on facts and figures released from reputable organizations. Nigerians always want things to be done instantly that's why politicians deceive us by telling us lies during campaigns. Am sure if Rome was built in a day, one of our leaders would have used the same contractor to build Nigeria thereby writing its name on stone. Another bad trend I have personally noticed in our current democracy is the issue of the various levels of government competing. Govts should learn to complement each other because they all have a common goal of providing good governance to their electorates. For example if the FG, constructs and maintains a dam, I should expect the state government to undertake the recticulation and distribution works, while the local government ensures that the pump stations within their locality is always up and running . At the end the common man in the village would have pipe born water (which is the ultimate aim) So do you have an explanation for the subsidy fraud. The growing foreign and local debt? This two are one of GEJ's creation not involved with past government. |

For the fact that suddenly the story change from fees to manifest I cannot ignore the case of political witch hunting. Please did u catch the full story because I feel its still developing. At what point did they agree to allow the chopper fly before recalling it? Or has that too changed? |

jerseyboy: Nigerian is FINISHED. These governing elites criminally neglect the roads to death traps and then waste the people’s money on private jets and choppers. Of what benefit is the funeral of Ben Obi's mother to the people of Edo State? Nigerians are in acceptance of this and more numerous abuse of public trust and come here to argue about fees or no fees.
That Adams Oshiomole cannot drive a distance of 81 miles without putting the people's commonwealth to waste should be the outrage of all right thinking Nigerians. Whem your pastors fly in the tithe/offering donated aircrafts, do you condemn them? Talk more of an elected governor. Can they do same to Akpabio? |
