Other partystates are dying abi??
No mind am, Abia vow to vote out PDP governor for not working, Rochas came on board for the same reason, what of Benue?
Election should be voting out the non performing and voting in another party. Imagine Osun state returning that known debtor of a governor.

People should use their tongue to count their teeth please.

It's funny and annoying when people say that others vote out of tribal sentiment, to be honest with you, beside Buhari and few others, any other person that were voted, got thump up out of tribal sentiment. If Nigeria wanted to do things right, they would have voted according to the personality of the candidates and not the party, imagine Ribadu losing election whereas El rufir won with a land sliding.

What of Lagos state? the moment Igbo group pledged their support for JK of which Yoruba themselves said was the better candidate, everything changed.

Rachas and Oshemhole won their respective state in the South east and SS but people will still came out here to condemn igbos of playing the ethnic politics, something is not just right and we must be mindful of what we say if we want this country to move forward as this unchecked hate comments may one day give birth to some kinda monstrous creature that nobody will be proud of.

Thank you

Please and please, this discussion is not palatable atall. You guys should desist from this type of discussion. What happens to love thy neighbour as yourself. This discussion is not fruitful at all. You can never tell who will be your saviour tomorrow.

We are human being first before any other thing.

If you guys don't know what to discuss, let's discuss football and romance.
PoliticsRe: (yoruba/igbo) Nigeria Politics Ended Our Childhood Friendship Today by Igwe9(m):
Many of us here are also guilty of the same offence.
Why can't we treat issues as they are without making some kinda annoying sweeping statement?

You are no different from the man if you make any generalisation about igbos or yorubas, To me, I drive no joy in doing that, in short it will be a great disservice to myself since I have many yoruba friends and none of them has done anything bad to me.
Yes, I get some cold treatment from some yorubas but I also get same treatment from some igbo folks, so, it's not a tribal thing but human nature.

Please quit this nonsense because none of us chose to be born in our present locations.

Thank you!

This is all Joke, No igbo person is taken this serious, they intended to vote in JK for the perceived exploitation going on in lagos by the APC lead administration. This Oba and Lagoon is just an avenue to crack people up, by the, APC no blew there is God ooo out of proportion. What of other things said by Mr. President.

Chill, igbos themselves know that only their vote will not get the man there.

Whether ambode or JK, all na yoruba and politician must be a politician, whatever rocks their boats is surely their choice.

Sounds more like a story than a message, maybe, I'm the one that does not understand the message.
Maybe the message is designed to confuse us or that the interpreter did not just interpret well but whatever the case maybe, nothing bad shall happen to our country in Jesus name!

The only constant thing in life is change, without change, there will be no growth, some grow faster, some slower and some not at all, hence we have some dwarf amongst us.

Am a Lagosian, I love my state more than any foreigner
could. I want the progress of Lagos. I am not Voting to
Prove a Point like most foreigners are saying now, I am
voting for what is right. Lagos is working, am proud of
my state, I won't let those from states like Abia, Ebonyi
destroy the good works in lagos because of Envy and
Tribalism. We all know what theodre Orji of the PDP
turn Abia into. Never will such happen in Lagos. I will
vote APC, to align Lagos with the Centre and to reap d
benefit of working with the FG.
Eko onibaje
If going by your post, were Abia and ebonyi not aligned themselves with the center? If aligning with the center is the basis for development, Abia and Ebonyi would have been better off.

Hypocrites in the highest order, JK will make a better candidate than all others, lagosians need change too. What is good for a goose is also good for the gander.

So you weren't fearless then?
Keep taking the peaceful nature of your host as cowardice.
Everybody is a stranger in this world, every majority is a minority somewhere.

Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity.

So, take it easy with life my dear. Igbos remain the only most sort after tribe in Nigeria. You can't afford to do without them, just accept it and move on.

Can Igbos try this in the North?

Fearless because your host is peaceful.

No be the same Igbos that left the North in droves after 2011 election?
You don't contest with animals, you compare apple with apple and not apple with orange.

You don't fight with somebody that is ready to die alongside with you. You fight with a human being and not some kind of animal that is ready to blow itself up over nothing.

As for the T- shirt of a thing, it's all about politics, nothing personal, moreover, Oba offered them that opportunity and PDP is surely utilising to it's fullness.

All I know is, Whoever emerges the winner should carry everybody along.
PoliticsRe: Lagosians Will Suffer Under PDP Govt- Osinbajo by Igwe9(m): 12:35pm On Apr 09, 2015
And my question is; why did Lagos remain in opposition for 16years if they'd been suffering. This is nothing but a political statement and if that happens under APC then what's the difference between them and PDP and the chant about change?

Osibanjo is the Nigerian vice president and not APC vice president. Nigeria can't be a one party country and that should not be forced on us.
The reason ACN blossomed during GEJ is nothing but for his quest to deliver a democratic dividend and maintain an egalitarian society.

One party system is not good for the Country. Is only in Nigeria that you see politicians decamping, meaning that they are just after their pocket. Masses should wise up and not be swayed by them.

States perform better under the opposition than in the ruling party. Lagos is in Nigeria and APC would also be judged based on their impact in the Lagos state too.

Make sure we are in control and for the Oba of Lagos, he acted out of ignorance and I believe he has received enough condemnation already.

Let's move on and not turn the cry into something.

grin Creatively funny. grin

Yes, Don Jazzy put Nigeria first before being an igbo and he refused to make imbecilic statement like most of his kinsmen. This is how it should be. Civilized nations like America and others that we aspire to be like will always tell you Country first before tribe. Jazzy is one of the very few intelligent igbos that I admire. Majority of igbos have fart-filled craniums, they've been brainwashed since young age. Whenever an igbo heads a Govt office, he never employs other tribes despite better qualifications, only igbos. tribalism has eaten so deep into igbos that other wiser tribes can NEVER vote an igbo as President. This is the major reason why an igbo shall never rule Nigeria. It's a verified fact that there are triple Nos of Hausas than igbos in Lagos, yet the Hausas give us no head ache whatsoever. But igbos with their leaky diarrhea mouth, are hated by both Yorubas and Hausas in Lagos. For real, I can see where tribalism is guaranteed to end these senseless igbos.
You are a fool for making this statement.

You applauded Donjazz for making such a dumb comments and you capping it up by being insulting.

Yeah, tell me your friends and I will tell you the time of person you are.

And for Donjazzy, his unpopularity has just begun, when next he is compared with Dbanj you'd see how his ass would be wipe with no baody coming to his aids.

PoliticsRe: The Behind The Scene Drama In Aso Rock By Okah Ewah Edede by Igwe9(m):
This story is quite an emotional one.
In as much as I am a Jonathan sympathiser, I still have my reservations. You could recall that Orubebe's action took place between the hours of 11 am and 12pm.

Nevertheless, it's noble of him to heed to such a good advice for the interest of his country else, don't you think that other leaders that threw their countries into war were advised against it but refused for their selfish reasons.

By the way, GEJ could have kept quiet just as Buhari did in 2011 and his supporters would take to street and the rest will be history, even if they didn't take to street, there would be a great uncertainty with APC fabricating more lies to heat up the polity as there members would even start off the fight for fear of unknown. Afterall, everybody has a chance to remain silence for whatever they say could be used against them in the court, if this election is annulled in the court for factual evidence of mass rigging, there will be nothing else than senseless killing.

Still wondering where the heck APC's military arm a.k.a BH is?

Shey, PHCN is giving light now like tomorrow no dey?

We know the sabotage going on but what can person do? Evil that men do lives with them and what shall it benefit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul!

This shows clearly that the whole change noise is nothing but a hatred on GEJ for achieving what majority of them could not achieve and will not achieve either in their life time. not for any other reason.

We are watching!

Lomprico,

Comment, yes, not insult and tell me to shut up.
I posted it because i am not in 100% agreement with the view of the writer and i want nairalanders to analyse it.
Listen, you started it by saying that people that voted for Gej instead of buhari did that out of hatred for civil war, now tell me, what of those that voted GMB in katsina or other northern states that Gej got fewer votes did that out hatred and civil.

The reason I said you should shut up is nothing but for the sweeping statement in the write up you posted upp there.
Lemme tell you, igbos voted based on many reasons, and one of them being the same reason other voted for GMB, That things did not turn out their way does not mean that they hated the other, it was pure politics and like I said before, we all can never agree to one thing.
Meanwhile, what would you have called the northern or SW voting pattern if vote had gone GEJ way.

Hatred abi?

My friend this your thread was indeed not necessary.
PoliticsRe: Word For My Igbo Brothers - By Maduka Fidorocks Onwukeme About The 2015 Election by Igwe9(m): 7:32pm On Mar 31, 2015
Please don't start another tribal war here. must everybody be on the same party? beside, it is called politics and if you check, the population of igbo that voted are not much.

In 2011, most states in North voted for Buhari and not for Jonathan and it never stops GEJ from doing some of the works there, In short, he worked more in the North more than the East and not voting for Buhari has nothing to do with religion or ethnicity but pure love for their baby brother GEJ, someone has to support him, no matter what.

So, shut your mouth and celebrate with your friends.

Reason why Nigeria has not been developing being negative politicking, hatred and born to rule mentality.

Betrayal and tribalism manifesting in our time.
His sins to yoruba was that they did not have stake in his government. Was he the national assembly that appoints speaker.

SW betraying their brothers since the time of civil war.
