Ijaw call the area Port Harcourt. Its epicenter is what is now known as Port Harcourt Town or simply TOWN. All the Ijaw areas of PH still retain their original Ijaw names and none of them was ever "Igweocha"

1. AHOADA WEST
This LGA is shared between the Engenni Ijaws and the Igboid Ekpeye people. Though Ekpeye people claim not to be Igbos but of Bini origin. Being the majority in the council, the HQ is in an Ijaw community- Akinima

2. BONNY
Igbos claim there are indigenous Igbos in Bonny but attempts to identify them has proved futile. Worst of all is ther INABILITY to identify a single Igbo community in Bonny.

Bonny is a pure Ijaw community, some speak an Igbo creole due to trading ties with the Igbos in the Igbo hinterland, therefore the Igbo creole spoken there is just an "historic" language of communication which became prevalent for reasons known to them. I've explained this in my previous posts.

3. OPOBO/NKORO
The situation here is not too different from that of Bonny. Just that most Igbos confuse the origin of Opobo to be the "dumping site" of unsold Igbo slaves. LOL

On the map,its continous as per the ethnicities except in the Ibani communities of bonny and opobo where creole igbo is spoken due to the resettlement there of large number of unsold igbo slaves after abolition of slavery in addition to the establishment of the Great Opobo state by Jubo Jugbogha(Jaja) in 1870.

4. Port Harcourt
Cheruv present PH to us as exclusively Igbo territory, but I say PH LGA is shared by the Ijaws of Okrika & Ikwerres. PH started from the Ijaw enclaves and spreaded to the Ikwerre hinterland althogh some Ikwerre communities were included in inception of PH by the British.

PH LGA is largely confused with the present PH city most of which is in Obio/akpor LGA (Ikwerre) and spreads in others like Ikwerre, Akuku Toru, Okrika, etc. The HQ is also in Ijaw parts of PH.

Ikengawo: Jonathan ran against Igbos in 2011. Igbos like GEJ's character and the fact that God has guided him from grass to grace. Igbos believe in supporting a man who is being guided to success by the hands of God instead of being jealous. More over, GEJ has done what Igbos want as citizens in Nigeria. Privatized power, eliminated northern oligarchic control of the country, internatonalized Enugu airport, and most importantly banning imports of industrial products that Nigerians produce. He has shown igbo land respect by frequently visiting and working diligently to modernize Nigeria.

Don't forget that the Ijaw and Igbo are bitter enemies. This has nothing to do with tribe. Ijaws and Igbos have more real and living tensions than Igbos and Yorubas and Igbos are the only ethnic group that have supported others from other groups if we felt that person was the right man for the job, from OBJ, to Yar Adua and now GEJ.

Why should I bother myself over relocation of multinational HQs when I could just render them useless by making sure no oil flows. Asking people to relocate those structures is tantamount to begging them, and when they do, they see it like they've done you a favour for getting what belongs to you.

And who told you the Ijaw has a defined geographical cluster to form a country? Except you move all to Bayelsa, there are Ijaw fishing settlements off the coasts of Rivers, AKS, Delta and Ondo, and in some areas like Opobo and Bonny, its difficult to distinguish the Igbo and Ijaw because of long cohabitation. But I don't see how all these groups in the SS will live together with Ijaw supremacists because in numbers the Igbo and Ibibio are more in the SS.

Let me tell you GEJ is of God, nothing can destroy his mission- not the North or Igbo or Yoruba.
