Do churches these days pay heed to pauls stern command as received from d holy spirit Let's read 1 corinthians 5:9-13


9 I wrote to you in my letter
not to associate with sexually
immoral people— 10 not at all
meaning the people of this
world who are immoral, or the
greedy and swindlers, or
idolaters. In that case you
would have to leave this world.
11 But now I am writing to you
that you must not associate
with anyone who claims to be a
brother or sister[a] but is
sexually immoral or greedy, an
idolater or slanderer, a
drunkard or swindler. Do not
even eat with such people.
12 What business is it of mine
to judge those outside the
church? Are you not to judge
those inside? 13 God will judge
those outside. “Expel the
wicked person from among
you.”


I have noticed that christendom in recent times have either stopped applyin this command or has soft pedaled in carrying it out...

How are wrongdoers handled in ur various churches
Are they given front sits and praised in d church or expelled just as paul admonished

Or has discipline been shoved to d background since one can pay there tithes and give large offerings??

These are d real doctrines d church should hold on to and practice,because d church isn't just a place for worship,but also a disciplinary institution that should mould persons for everlasting life....

Jesus death ultimately opened d way to everlasting life in d future...that's d ultimate gift 1 can receive....
No matter what we struggle to enjoy in this temporary world is soon to end...but life everlasting is d ish..!!!!!!

Gods kingdom is what we shuld pray for steady,becos that's d avenue thru which all problems will pass away...be it death,sickness and all other ordeals will be a thin of d past

Feeling empty is a normal feeling we all struggle with becos we are humans and always need to lean on God just like Jesus did too.....
I dnt rili have any problem with theresa sha....

but I feel catholics as a group can make some adjustments to some of there traditions and beliefs if d bible outrightly refutes them...
Making continous adjustments when we notice a doctrine we hold on to isn't right doesn't show weakness,it shows we love d scriptures and wanna live up to its standard....

Because all we have now is d bible which is a product of Gods spirit......
The apostles who had these truths 1st hand from Jesus aint no more....
So we today need to always b ready to make serious adjustments to meet up bible standards both as individuals and as a group.......

God created everytin,but we humans too just because we won't obey d creator also create things that endangers our lives,even kill us just like d above things mentioned...

Its true we've all here in nairaland battered every religious organisation in christendom..Starting from d catholics,the protestants(lutherans $ anglicans),the Jehovahs Witnesses,the pentecostals,prosperity preachers,the white garment churches(celestial church $ cherubim) etc....
Knowin that christianity lost its originality 3centuries after d death of Jesus $ d apostles,if we weight all these various organisations professing christianity on a scale and employ strict scrutiny using d bible,which would we say strive to practice true christianity?
Knowin they all @ one time started off with some flaws,which do we think strives incessantly to meet up with d original christianity we know??
Which would we say struggle so hard to apply every bible principles $ commands exactly as they come even though it will cause some inconveniences or losses in this temporary world?
Which would we say strive to follow every of Jesus footsteps,both in d way he acted $ spoke?
The 1st century christians as a close,knit organisation so to say set d pace on hw true christianity should be practiced becos they were d 1st to receive d promised holy spirit first hand $ they saw Jesus face 2 face..
The question now is::
Do all denominations follow there pattern strictly?
Do all denominations show $ share d same kind of self sacrificing love that abounded back then in d 1st century or has such love been quenched by political $ racial divides?
Do all denominations keep strict d traditions $ doctrines of d early christians or has presumpteousness set in where we have to invent or borrow doctrines from pagans?
One thing I'm sure of is,not all denominations will lead to eternal life ..
Let's face reality $ facts!!!!
..there must be one true church that will finally meet up with all d standards set by Jesus through his apostles $ d early christians...
