Other owners invest their own money into their clubs, the Glazers take from theirs.

The 3rd chart is the worst. United have paid £500m+ on interests alone and the debt hasn’t reduced a bit.

Imagine collecting a loan of N50m in 2005, you have paid N45m in interest alone and your debt is still like N48m.

You don’t get a yellow for delaying a restart.

It was United’s ball. Bruno can hold the ball as much as possible. It’s up to the referee to stop the clock or add extra one minute to the added time.

If anything, Salah should have been carded for dragging the ball that isn’t theirs. Liverpool just scored, it’s United’s ball. Their urgency to restart is not relevant.

There was no reason to commit that much to a shot. Alisson would have saved from there.

He should have trusted his goalie. If Milner stood his ground, Sancho would have been in trouble but his slide gave Sancho all the space in the world to cause further damage.

He gave Sancho time (not engaging) and space. Alison will most likely save any shot to the middle, so he should have moved to the left more.

You forgot the most important detail.

Sancho looked up to assess the situation before taking the shot. If VVD had made any movement towards Sancho, Sancho would have passed to Bruno for an easy tap into an empty net.

Just because you are looking from a TV screen, you thought the space can be closed down by moving forward. The space between them was huge(about 7 yards).

If he stayed at the blue mark, Sancho is good enough to put the shot between the space between VVD & Alisson.

Their entire defensive structure collapsed when Trent allowed Elanga to make that cross. Anything else is just passing the blame.

There’s nothing VVD could have done to prevent that goal unless Sancho skied the shot over the bar by being a useless player.

VVD is being rightly criticised because he doesnt like to engage the attacker. He needed to step forward to Sancho there to block the shot or atleast narrow the angle. But that is his style, he's a very passive defender because he plays in an era where you dont usually face a dominant number 9.
