chrisley024:He’s not good enough. I would take a one-legged Robertson before taking a glance at Shaw. |
3-0 United should just use this game to increase their +GD. |
What a save from De Gea. |
chrisley024:It’s easy to do well against 10 men. Even Lindelof suddenly looks like Baresi. This is a dangerous situation - Ward Prowse can bend this in. |
Rashford with a tap in. |
Exonerate1:Yeah.... 9 down, 191 assists to go. Luke Shaw - what a player. The best English left back since Ashley Cole. ![]() |
Bissaka fires it home..... |
I still can’t believe Shaw has 8 PL assists in 7 seasons and he starts in every game. Man Utd is a big fat joke. ![]() |
If by half time United haven’t scored, Ole should bring on Pogba or Van de Beek. There’s no reason to be playing 2 DMs against 10 men. |
Instant red card! Ole should win this easily now but man will still park the bus tactically.. |
MRTA7:Bailly and Van de Beek must be wondering what else they must do to play. These lads have not put a foot wrong in the last 3 months or so but Ole hardly ever starts them. |
nani667:The fraud has started omitting Bailly from crucial games once more. After lying to the masses that Lindelof had a back injury that prevents him from starting 2 games in a row, he’s started Lindelof in the last 3 games. The fraud will find a way to blame the referee again if United don’t win this game. Solksjaer and daftness are family members. |
BARAJ92:Mourinho started afresh at Spurs? ![]() You mean Pochettino wasn’t sacked in November 2019 and Jose took over mid-season? Some of you here are circus clowns. |
KingAlabi:Expectional ? Ole’s failure is starting to infect your grammar. Oh dear! ![]() |
larride:Ole relegated Cardiff in 2014 - he’s a failure. He’s the most useless manager in the premier league. The quality of the players at his disposal is the only reason he’s sitting in 2nd position as we speak. Dean Smith, Bielsa, Hasenhüttl, Ancelotti, Allardyce, Moyes, etc would have notched more points at United at this stage. Ole’s level is the Norwegian league. |
KingAlabi:What has managing a big club gotta do with it? Did their coaching badges have different grades? So you wrote JAMB with your brother and passed Your brother went to a federal university & you chose a bottom tier university. It means your brother is an experienced student and you are a rookie student? Can you hear yourself? |
KingAlabi:Ole is not a rookie coach. He started around the same time as Guardiola. Pep was hired to manage Barcelona team B(reserves) in June 2007. Ole was hired to manage Man Utd reserves in May 2008. They have both bagged their coaching badges before 2007 although I suspect Pep wrote his exams by himself and Alex Ferguson impersonated Ole and wrote the exams for him. There’s less than a year in experience between both managers. The only difference is Pep went on to achieve great things while Ole swims in the pool of failure. If we are not careful, you would claim Zidane is a seasoned experienced coach while Ole is a rookie. |
Leyqute:Don’t rewrite history - Jose was in 6th position. Unlike Ole that was once at 15th position this season and he never lost his job because many of you can’t distinguish between failure and progress. Jose handed a 5 man transfer list to Woodward around March 2018. Woodward vetoed the list and proceeded to buy bargain basement players. |
DeadPresidents:Because the stupid Ed Woodward refused to bring in reinforcements. Mourinho warned everyone it was going to be a disastrous season while in preseason but you people didn’t take him serious. United deserved their misery. Boo fücking hoo!
|
Lana1:De Gea hasn’t left Man Utd, neither is he dead, so why hasn’t he replicated that form since 17/18? The only time the great De Gea won the golden glove in his Man Utd career was under Jose Mourinho. De Gea was superhuman because of the way Jose Mourinho set the team up. The amazing thing was that Jose did it with an inferior defensive unit. De Gea isn’t the only goalkeeper that has won golden glove under Jose. Petr Cech won it under him too. |
KingAlabi:Ole is a rookie coach? A failure that started his managerial career around the time Pep Guardiola started is now a rookie coach? Failure is a bad thing - it’s the same reason many of you Olesexuals think Lingard is a teenager whereas he’s older than Pogba. |
KingAlabi:EFL cup - Ole has attempted it twice and lost. Man City stood in his way on both occasions and Pep taught Ole a tactical lesson. EFL cup(Jose) - Jose slayed Pep at Old Trafford on his way to win EFL cup under 7 months. Europa league - Ole got to the semifinal and was disgraced out of it by Sevilla. Europa League(Jose) - Mourinho never asked for this competition. He inherited it cos Van Gaal finished outside top 4 before Jose’s arrival. Had Jose lost earlier in the competition, loudmouths like you would have used it to criticize him. He won the competition outrightly and you are still crying that he shouldn’t have won it. |
KingAlabi:The nerve of you to say I didn’t watch United games. I saw all the games and the performance were poor because Jose wasn’t backed. He complained throughout the preseason that the team would suffer if they don’t bring in reinforcements. The media said he moans too much and he should develop what he’s got. Guardiola kept adding quality to his squad. Klopp brought in Van Dijk & Alisson. Jose was given Lee Grant and Dalot to close a 19 point gap. KingAlabi:How’s this relevant? The season doesn’t end at Christmas. The fact of the matter is the weapon brought in to steady the ship crashed the ship. Mourinho was 19 points behind 1st in December when he was sacked. Ole(ship steadier) was 32 points when the league ended. Ole added 13 points deficit but you continue to deceive yourself that he steadied the ship. KingAlabi:Only a crackhead would opine such nonsense. Poch left Tottenham at 14th position. Mourinho got them to 6th and back into Europe. KingAlabi:This is cognitive dissonance. Ole inherited a team that was 6th and he ended in 6th position in his first season. Jose inherited a team that was 14th and ended 6th in his first season. Ole has had 25 months to finetune his team, Jose has had around a year with the microcosm of the amount Ole has spent at Man United. Needless to say, their last head to head game ended with Jose wiping the latrine floor with Ole’a face. The ship steadier lost 1-6 at home to Jose(Mr Negative Football). If you need any more evidence that you are comparing a quack manager to an elite manager, watch that game again. |
KingAlabi:You are waffling! I said Jose loves older defenders with quality and that simply means Lindelof and Eric couldn’t have been his signings as they were too young to lead a title charge. Jose would be buying older & vastly experienced defenders instead of a pair of rookies that are still wet behind the ears. |
KingAlabi:Ole couldn’t beat Palace, Arsenal and Sheffield United but he beat Everton. So what’s your point? [ KingAlabi:He finished 32 points below the league leaders. He took the job when United were only 19 points below the league leaders. KingAlabi:There’s nothing like a first full season. He had the team between December 2018 till August 2019 before the full season. That’s a whole 9 months with the team before he finished 3rd. Don’t also forget Ole had managed the reserve team of Man Utd some years back - so he wasn’t exactly walking into a new environment but a failure is a failure, no matter where you put him. Ole relegated Cardiff from the Premier League - that’s what he would be remembered for. He’s a failure. KingAlabi:A serial winner like Mourinho came to Man United and won 3 trophies under 9 months. |
Lana1:He won 3 trophies that season and qualified for the champions league under 9 months. That achievement alone is more than what Ole has achieved if you combine all his seasons at United together. |
KingAlabi:Ashley and Valencia were wingers under Fergie. Why didn’t Fergie play them as defenders? Jones & Smalling? 31 appearances between them Rio Ferdinand alone had 28 appearances in 12/13. There’s a difference between a lynchpin and a spare tyre. |
KingAlabi:Mourinho qualified for the champions league at the end of every season at United. With 63 points still to play for, I was 100% certain he was nailed on to finish top 4. After the loss at Liverpool, the run of fixtures was ridiculously easy to close the gap on the top 4. Ole was signed, he pretended as if he was going to nail the top 4 but the table quickly turned on him after the new year. He remained where he took the job(6th) and instead of him to close the 19 points gap between United and the league leaders, Ole increased the gap to 32 points.. However, SkySports pundits deceived you he has steadied the ship and you lapped it up. |
KingAlabi:Premier League winners as lynchpins or spare tyres? Ashley was a winger under Alex, became a fullback later. Same as Valencia. When were Jones and Smalling important pieces of the chess board under Alex Ferguson? Which of them has ever been nominated in the PFA team of the season? I mean - were Rio & Vidic dead when Jones and Smalling won the league title or your memory bank has suffered an armed robbery attack? |
KingAlabi:Moyes finished empty handed Van Gaal won a trophy Mourinho won 3 trophies, qualified United for champions league KO stage throughout his stay at United. He inherited the Europa league from Van Gaal in his first season and won the competition. Ole has done nothing. If we go by geometric progression, Ole has failed as he should be doing better than Jose after 2 years. He’s spent close to £300m plus using some of the assets acquired under Mourinho. So why has he failed to achieve 20% of Jose’s glory? |
KingAlabi:They satisfy the age criteria but they fell short of the quality criteria. Pepe, Carvalho, etc were grade A defenders. |
KingAlabi:One would think all Mourinho signings left with him and Ole had to start a new rebuilding process. Ole also made use of all Jose’s signings and he didn’t achieve anything concrete with them. As we speak, Pogba(£89m), Lindelof(£30m), Bailly(£30m), Matic(£30m) are still playing for Ole. Add his own signings to this list and he should be doing better than Mourinho. Alas, we have found out that Ole cannot even notch 70 points, let alone the 81 points Mourinho achieved with a vastly inferior squad in 17/18 season. KingAlabi:That would be true if they were his signings in the first place. You are a football buff, can you think of any time in Mourinho’s illustrious career where he’s relied on 22 year old centre-halves to challenge for a league title? Which one of Lucio, Carvalho, Alex, Pepe, Ramos, Walter Samuel, etc were under 23 when Jose played them? A manager who got a reputation of always playing old proven players suddenly broke character to sign a pair of rookies and you think this was his wish? Are you a novice? |
