COVID 19 but Aston Villa(from the championship) outspent United in the summer. I’m wondering whether there was no pandemic in Birmingham.

A team aspiring to win the league title would double their efforts to match their counterparts to get a fair shake of the race. As soon as Ole was nearing the top in mid-December, a manager with common sense would be knocking on the door to get players in.

LooL. You people are funny. City have Sterling, Mahrez, B. Silva, F. Torres, etc for the wing positions alone. These players can also play in other positions.

They have enough attacking firepower. It was only a matter of time before they hit form again. All of dem no fit drop like that. United only have Martial and Rashford. And they’re both youth players. Cos they’re so freaking inconsistent.

Last season City scored the most goals in the league. They also shipped in a lot of goals. The logical thing to do was to stop leaking goals. And see how they’ve invested in that area. Afrodoc actually mentioned this.

They wouldn’t, they would double mark him cos they know his crosses are worth their weight in gold.

Nobody takes Bissaka serious. Arteta is very happy for Bissaka to take possession of that side of the pitch. Bissaka’s crosses will not threaten Arsenal defence. 98% of Bissaka’s marauding attacks will end up going backwards.

It’s because he has no plan or tactical input. Lindelof means he would be parking the bus for large parts of the game. Any defence that has Lindelof and Maguire would be 10-15 yards deeper because of the fact that both centre halves have no pace to recover should Arsenal break.

Woodward had several opportunities to bring in elite young forwards(Haaland, Sancho, etc) and he bungled the chances.

All I was just saying is we shouldn’t be blindsided by the intangible stats Olesexuals are throwing out there.

Imagine a GCE student that got F In all his subjects but everyone keeps talking about how tidy and well-groomed the kid is. They even went as far as talking about the shoes he wears to the examination hall and his cursive handwriting. Is that the point? Passing the exam should be the main focus, isn’t it?

The purpose/main objective of any sporting event is to win. Nothing else matters. Tiki-taka, negative football, park the bus, etc - Winning is the only thing that matters.

However, that is one of the intangible stats that losers use to hide their failure. The manager with the most points in a calendar year is not going to win the Premier League title. The title is given to the manager with most points in a season.

Solskjaer has been the manager for more than two years but he’s yet to win a trophy or a title. Ole has lost more PL games at OT this season than Mourinho did throughout his managerial career in Manchester United.

This same Ole failed to qualify for the knock out phase of the champions league from the group stage. This aberration never happened under Mourinho. The only time Jose played Europa, he inherited it from Van Gaal and outrightly won the competition.

Ole has also bottled 4 semifinal games in the last two years. At what point will United fans admit/accept the Solskjaer experiment has been a failure?

I fully agree with nani6666’s stance.
