I do not know about you guys but I am long suffering fans of Liverpool. I was too young to really savour the initial sucsess of the early 80's but really suffrered in the 90's.I hardly get joined in arguments with Chelsea and Arsenal fans as most of them are "follow follow fans" who cannot date Chelsea beyond abramovich or know what Arsenal was before Wenger.
Back to Liverpool this is a very bad start to the season. The last team to win the league losing 4 of the first nine matches is liverpool. I dare to believe but the squad is not strong. The loss of Alonso is massive and we really do not know what Aquillani will offer us. Italians cane be temperamental outside of Italy. We let Keane go and brought back Voronin, He is not a match winner. Carragher is not getting Younger and Glen Johnsons attacking ambitions have exposed Carraghers failings even more. We need to start winning and winning soon and this has to be home to Lyon in the champions League, and Manu away.

Now my comments:

My initial reaction to the whole catwoman/okada story was understandably skeptical,however that doesn't remove from the fact that  JAZZ DEY !!

Someone asked ,how come these 'mysterious happenings ' have no modern day application. . . I'll ask you to think again. . . . ,  its in Africa we do not harness the power of the spiritual. . .the asians are the recent masters at this . .  .former infomation minister (& auchi man)Tony Momoh said (& I tend to agree) that nothing is invented rather things are DISCOVERED.

The Asians essentially download a lot of stuff from the spiritual realm.

And its not limited to Asians,please read about the life of Steve Jobs(Apple),Michael Jackson,Tiger Woods & a host of other 'western' scientists,entertainers etc. . .you'd be surprised the lengths they go to get 'spiritual' fortification.

I remember seeing my first ATM in Europe many years ago on a visit from Naija,the thing was like magicIi kept wondering,how it was possible to keep track of accounts etc. . . but right now its commonplace.

When we were younger,my mum always warned us not to ease ourselves anyhow as 'evil' peeps could harm us by putting stuff in in the passed urine/faeces etc. . . . . . .,I always felt this was gross superstition. . . we all now know your waste products carry your genetic make-up,who knows what further studies on this will yield in the future??

The point I'm making is. . . a lot of stuff's out there,our not knowing about it,or accepting it doesn't remove from the fact that it does exist.

This comment,while understandable is indeed presumptuous. What can you tell me is the criteria for this award? Any President of the US,definitely has an impact on world peace or lack of it .

Is the award a bit pre-mature,maybe. . . has obama done anything,certainly:

1.Speech to muslims
2.Reset relations with russia
3.Committment to closing guantanamo & other multilateral moves as against Bush's unilateralism
4.For the first time in a while,a US president openly disagrees with israel
5.pulling out of iraq
6.Generally creating an atmosphere for peace in the world,where people can now believe/hope for the future not endless conflicts

and so on. . . . .

have all these well intentioned moves/ideas borne considerable fruit? No,but they are definitely a step in the right direction.

I,like most people was ^{and still is} surprised. . . .but don't say 'HE HASN"T DONE ANYTHING'  

To all the doubters,the fact is he got the award partially to spite George Bush & also in view of all he can accomplish,in an increasingly polarised world. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
