Dual citizenship definitely confers on one dual options, which can't be bad ! ![]() |
No insults please. ![]() If you don't agree with me state your reasons, the topic is definitely to some extent controversial. I stand by my earlier statements,we are all products of our environments. For example, school's without resident accomodation have some measure of influence on people of opposite sex living together,Im not talking of the usual boyfriend/girlfriend relationships now,but actually LIVING TOGETHER,so how would dat not affect one's 'marriageability'? Just my opinion though ![]() |
I would have, but you being married & all ![]() |
Im not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but the thing is our Northern brothers don't like it,cos they essentially thrive on govt. & the smalle r you try to make govt(which is the in thing round the world) th less the money that flows. And when one hasn't sufficiently equipped oneself enough to cope in a highly competitive environment, you'll see reversals like this. N1b,is being estimated to be spent on keeping pool vehicles, drivers etc, It just doesn't make sense. |
Me sef tire. For how long do we have to have 1 step forward and 3 backwards?? I'm honestly really disappointed |
The OBJ administration introduced monetisation which in effect means rather than the govt providing official cars ,drivers and houses for its employees,it would instead pay them and expect them to sort themselves as is done in most private organisations. The advantage to govt is legion 1.They no longer appropriate funds to service/maintain houses & cars,as this is transferred to the individual who obviously is in a better position to do this. 2.The govt focuses on governance and does away with non critical job functions like drivers, cleaners etc In addition you had a situation where a lever 6 officer for e.g would be living in a govt maintained flat in V.I , while his total housing for the year is about N100,000, what does he do? He 'lets' out his official residence and takes up an apartment in the otherside of town, also you'll have Perm Secs having 3 or more 'guest houses' maintained by the govt. These are just a few of the policies Kingibe(&Yar'Adua) are trying to reverse. |
Proposed reversal of monetisation ,will only spell doom for this country |
If this goes ahead, then I will lose ALL hope for Nigeria. I can't believe this,Kingibe is talking about dignity of a Minister? Whereis the service in 'serving your fatherland. I'm re-iterating if this Kingibe plan goes ahead ,I'm sorry to say we may never move forward as a country. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=96989 |
spoilt: ![]() |
thanks tumzy, The fact is we are largely influenced by our environment. & for those that got into the university early,it plays a huge part in moulding our character. |
It'll be really cool to catch up with this very cool lady 'spoilt', however due to my coded I.D, I may have to kill you once you uncover the face behind 'illusion2' ![]() I wish u a wonderful vacation. ![]() Cheers, |
Whether you agree with me or not,the schools we attend have an impact on our character and approach to life. Unilag girls generally 'form'. UI(Ibadan) babes are generally shy & OSU babes because they live off campus are probably the most experienced sexually. Although I didn't finish from there , I have come to agree that University of Ilorin, generally churns out the best wife materials, would you agree with me? P.S: I only have info on Universities in South-West Nigeria ,lets know what you think from your own side of Nigeria/world. |
Bros u get lips o ! (lol) ![]() Just joking, ladies pls respond accordingly |
I'll tell you all this ONE TIME- Whatever you do- DON'T GO TO AFRIBANK ![]() |
Yeah Bro, |
Dear Adetina, I couldn't add more to what Teriba has said. Not all nigerian men are very desperate to get papers & run away from their country, and considering his age,I would give him the benefit of doubt. But like Teriba said, there are already danger signs when we begin to to doubt our (potential) future spouse's intentions, I had a female friend who was quite busty, she believed every man that approached her did it cos of her boobs and she lost some really cool suitors who got married few months after she discarded their marriage proposals,I needn't tell you she's still single. If I were you,I would ask myself,do I love him? Can I have children for him? Is he hiding anything? Answer this & take a decision,I would feel really hurt if someone I was proposing to thought I was trying to take adantage of ther citizenship . Mamaput's concerns are cool , try ask to speak with his family & do some investigation on your own,ok? |
I have visited the Nigeriaone website& with all due respects I must agree it is to a large extent quite crappy, There's so much information staring you in the face & the grammar would actually damage Nigeria's reputation. How functional & user friendly a website is,is actully what make it highly rated, not the back end technlogy. |
Stale, but refreshing to know |
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE How you'll know a great team is ability to stay course under pressure. ![]() Last night's game proves this point clearly, I agree Torres is a VERY NATURAL central forward, the 2nd goal to me was the turning point. And the way the guy took it without attempting to get a penalty was just superb.I agree the rotation works fine & Crouch should remain. Up Liverpool !! ![]() |
hmmmmmm ![]() |
Go 4 it girl You'll love him with time,trust me ![]() |
I don't know why Im responding ,but for your info according to the Child's Rights Bill recently passed by the Nat Assembly, you're liable for jail time. ![]() |

I'm really into espionage, military kinda novels. So most books by Ludlum,Forsyth,Le Carre,Fleming are in, ICARUS AGENDA is definitely up there. However my most memorable,I read many years back in secondary school, it was among the Pacesetters series,it was actually my first Nigerian espionage novels , I can't remember the name now, I think it involved some triplets & I keep remembering something like Debunmi Davies or something like dat,I remember I was so excited I didn't want finish in a rush. Boy, what would I do to lay my hands on that book, |
SMC:@SMC, Thanks for taking time to search out these threads. Are you really from lesbos? ![]() |
