Give out of determination. It will save you from many a robbery. Also, give primarily to the purpose and work of God. Other purposes are secondary and can follow later. That's the pattern from exemplary givers like God, the disciples at Antioch, the early church, David, Abraham and Nicodemus. Note the way to go. EVERY man, according to his ABILITY, DETERMINED . . You will prosper.

January Acts 11v29

January 10 Psalm 10v1,16

You know it's never enough to act just for action sake. Activity is not the only way to demonstrate life. Many are usually of the opinion that something must be done, a response, an action must be taken. Something must be said, a remark must be made, a move must follow, body no be firewood.
Why don't you stop the struggle and jostling from today. Learn to relax, rest, trust. It is the surest way out of the miry clay, out of the horrible pit. Many have hastily concluded like verse 1 of Today's passage. They believe God doesn't care, God cannot see, or worst still, that there's no God. If only you can rest, if only you will trust. Soon there'll be revelation. You'll get to verse16.

January 9 Psalm 9v10

10. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou Lord, has not forsaken them that seek thee.
It is a privilege to know God's name. The name of God is powerful. It can keep. Jesus prayed that His disciples be kept through this all powerful name. The name of God is a strong tower. Knowing this name can change your life. It can promote you. It gives you the right to prevail.
The knowledge of God's name is not just in scholarly demonstration of foreign languages like aramaic and greek. It is not found in research and possession of dictionaries and concordance. It is not positioned in the art of praise and worship eulogies. It is them that seek God that know His name. They'll put their trust in God. They'll be strong. They'll do exploits. Knowing God's name gives you the key, not just a key. Knowing God's name will take you smoothly through the year and through life. God hasn't forsaken and will not forsake those who know His name

January 8 Daniel 8v19

19. And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

Eschatology has been of old for special people. Beloved people like Daniel and Paul and John(the beloved). Beloved people receive revelation into events of the end. They know all things, as it were. Infact if they don't know, then like our Today's passage promises, it says 'Behold, I will make it know '. Many today are quite eager to propound and explain and read meanings into what is happening and will happen.
Some, especially unbelievers view it all as simply beyond them. They proudly call it a delusion. But all that's happening and will happen are all on God's timetable. Like some say, the Bible is fresher and more current than tomorrow's news. At the time appointed, the end shall be.Don't disturb yourself,just prepare yourself.God's plan will be done.God's will is sure.

We can't sorrow like others which have no hope. Our sorrow is not the same. Godly sorrow works out repentance to salvation . It is not faith or deep knowledge of God to be found rejoicing in sin, or using bold face after erring from the faith. There ought to be godly sorrow, a repentant heart and a broken spirit. That is true repentance that should not be repented of. You shouldn't be ashamed of it, or despise those who do it. I'm not talking of 'crocodile tears'. I'm talking of sorrow that brings repentance, a new life. Not a sorrow that will be repeated at the next solemn repentance message. We should be sorrowful at sin, whether by us or by others, not indifferent or even laughing at it. The sorrow of the world works death, don't sorrow hopelessly. It's not all over. It has come to pass. Don't get a heart attack, or hypertension over news that you get. The sorrow of the world works death. It brings more sorrow and sickness. How do you 'sorrow'?

January 7 2Corinthians 7v10

10. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

The time is coming after Christ's second coming, when God will wipe away all tears from our eyes, and there'll be no more death, neither sorrow. That's then. But now, we're still on earth, there is sorrow on earth, let no man deceive you. You know what Jesus said, He said that in the world, there is tribulation, but be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world. So there is tribulation in the world.
To say it the way the Authorized Version says it, it says "In the world, You will have tribulation". The question is which one of the tribulations are you having? There is suffering for thieves and offenders, in custody and sentences. Believers are not to suffer that way, as a murderer or evil doer, no. The Scriptures keep saying it. We are different, in all ways. Sorry, ALL ways.

It's not only your pastor, bishop or cell leader that should be a strong christian. You as a part of 'my brethren ' should also be STRONG and in the power of His might. It means that you should do the things that Christ did and can do. We also ought to walk even as He walked. Love like Him, think like Him evangelise like Him, live like Him, pray like He prayed, have compassion, be meek, be LOWLY in heart. Wow. That one about sums it up. Be lowly in heart, have grace, live a pure life, live a powerful life, do not beat the air. Live this life like Jesus Christ.

January 6 Ephesians 6v10

10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Beating the air is at the mildest funny, if not crazy. It's a waste. You could easily achieve more, better, more purposeful stuff with that energy you've got. Sadly, that's the way some christians live their christian lives, beating the air christianity. Just barely making it to heaven, so-so christians. No zeal, no fire, no revival, just there. I'm praying that God will not classify me as just there. How about you?
Today's passage is giving us a command. It is God's command. It is not a suggestion or an advice. It is the will and plan of Christ. Be strong in the Lord . Some people just give their lives to Christ and don't grow. They still think like children, speak like children, understand like children, and are tossed to and fro like children. You need to grow in Christ and be strong, as in STRONG .

It's a newness of life. She was once a sinner. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Now come to think of it. 'Were' is past tense, we are no more sinners. We were! It's not humility, but ignorance for true children of God to confess "I'm a sinner, a terrible sinner". We were, but NOW I'm born again, I'm a child of God, my name is in the book of life, I believe in Jesus, He has washed away my sins, and given of POWER to be a child of God, to go and sin no more. I have the power. The Lord Himself lives in me, and He reigns through me. Sin cannot and must not have dominion over me. Thank you God for this victory. Christ died for me personally.

January 5 Romans 5 v 8

Do you recall that all have sinned and come short of God's glory? Yes, all have sinned. Nobody was born a saint. We All inherited sin as a default start. This means that there is hope for you.
Do you know that some of these preachers, pastors, evangelists, bros and sisters that you know and see were probably worse sinners than you are? That's what we are saying. We too were sinners. we were where you are now. But we decided to follow Jesus, and today, we look so far away, like we've never committed any sin. Infact, sometimes almost like we can never commit any sin. It's because we became new, New creatures. You too can be like us. You too can be like that brother across the street, so gentle and lovely. He was once a sinner. You can be like that sister so graceful and kind like she never thought any evil in her life. It's not hypocrisy, it's a newness

Putting a picture on a billboard is not exactly worship or idolatry. BTW, many will be quick to point fingers and insult the churches but when it comes to more salient issues, they'll begin to claim Christ has fulfilled the law. This is hypocrisy

Let me say 'Happy new year' to you. It's good that you've clarified. Nonetheless, the Lord Jesus said in John 17 that Jehovah God is the ONLY true God, alluding that All other gods are fake and rubbish.

What's wrong? You're getting more lost. Jesus is the truth. You're supposed to have found Him but you denied Him and His words. 1John 2 says he is antichrist that denies the Son. The truth is not out there somewhere, He has shone already.

Are you a member of the body of Christ, Tudor? Nobody should hide under. There's no point. What people should do is obey scriptures, the words of God ahead of popular opinion. My point is that because one pastor/church's good deed is no TV doesn't mean that others are doing nothing.
