I want to ask you, if we follow your reasoning of Jesus/Spirit is messenger therefore God is referred to. The angels are messengers aren't they? Even you'll claim to be a messenger? All the prophets in scriptures are messengers. Why are they not referred to as God like Jesus is referred to and like the Holy Ghost is referred to?
Also, who do you know/think created the world?

I want to believe that the watchtower Bible renders Lord as Jehovah. Well if they didn't, it was Jehovah the Holy Ghost speaking. "he had said before" in Jeremiah 31v33,34

Obviously, you can't lie to a force(active) or power. It's absurd! You can lie to a person, in this case, God the Holy Spirit.

The trio are so interchanged seamlessly in Scripture it Will be criminal not to notice. They are all referred to as God, not just the Son or the Spirit but God.

This verse refers to Jesus. He is called God manifest in the flesh, the Word made flesh.

So you're not infallible afterall, you know more errors are on you. All you need do is sincerely fish them out and grow.
You need to start seeing God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. Why because the Bible also calls each God in a way it calls no other. I'll drum it again, the trinity are 3distinct personalities that are one God. I told you of a similar spirit, soul and body that are one person. Do not re-ignore this. What exactly is the cause of your laziness. Get serious. You 'want to talk' about a great mystery and you're moaning about thin lines and thick continuous wavy lines. May God help you. Don't bargain, give in or concede to the devil and his agents. In touchy issues and areas where te church doesn't seem to agree, abstinence is a safer/wiser option. It is better to be in Life 'maimed'/impaired than to be dead right but dead nonetheless.
Stay away from the lifestyle of the ungodly, sinners and scornful. Don't you think to walk there. Those who walked there before us, later came to stand there, and they ended up sitting there and dying there. Learn from their mistakes. Learn to do good. God bless you.

March 2 Psalm 1v1

Another month is always another chance. A chance for newness, a chance for blessing. Today's passage shows us the key, the pathway to blessing. This month of March is your month of blessing. There's blessing in marching forward. The word 'march' appears seven times in the kjv translation. It connotes authority, boldness and charisma. That's the blessedness that awaits you in the Spirit this month.
The pathway to this blessedness is to live above compromise with sin or satan. Stay clear of sin.

The Trinity is one to us. We've got little or no business with their hierarchy, like you don't reduce respect for your father simply because he's not the oldest man in the local government. It's not your business. He's your father.
The Bible says we're created in God's image. We're yet to fully understand the human body, how much more the Godhead/God. Karo93, you'll agree that one human has a spirit, a soul and a body. Well that's what the Bible says. And the body can depend on the will power of the soul i.e it can collect something from another. And the soul/mind can attimes barely function without the cooperation of the body. (You don't want to be writing an exam on an empty stomach). Yet they're one person. You've been perplexed about how the Lamb could collect from the Father, or ask/speak to the Father if they were one. Have you not read that the Spirit can be willing and the Body weak? The Body can make a demand on the Spirit and vice versa.
Do you know there's an expected hierarchy for the human being? It is spirit, soul and body. The Spirit is expected to lead, not the Body yet they are one person.
Well then, let's go back to basics. So much for the human body already. To avoid the confusion that many who do not accept the Trinity face, there's something important you need to know about the Son. It is the role.
1Timothy 2v5 For there is one God, and one MEDIATOR between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Jesus is mediator, middle man as a role, to reconcile us to God/himself as some portion puts it. A good mediator is not one-sided, there be no real peace that way. He takes from the two sides and reconciles them. That is Jesus. You need to recognise His dual roles as Son of God and as Son of man, and then rightly divide the Word of truth. You should learn to discern when He's speaking on God's side and on man's side.
It's funny to say Jesus is son of God, therefore He is inferior. Such logic is helpless when you recall that this same Jesus is Son of David, Son of Abraham, and son of man. For Christ's sake, He created man! (no pun intended). The jews knew the implication of Jesus being the Son of God. Their spiritual math was right, it is = God. John 10v32,33 or better still John 5v18 which said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Jesus never denied this.

Nonetheless, those who do not agree with Bible doctrines need to be the more careful as whatsoever is not of faith is sin. They're not to create unneeded strife or cause others faith to wane.
I do not know God fully, and I don't know of any human who can show you God. It is the Spirit of Christ that can show Him. I'll like to say that the trinity is God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit. Each one of them is God in a way no other is. Yet they're seperate recogniseable personalities united in One. It's a mystery referred to as 'great'. It is above our day to day logic. Even our human body is above day to day logic. But one thing you must not fail to notice all through scriptures is the seamless interchange of roles, power, attributes and co accorded to the trinity.
Now, let me add that God operates in hierarchy. All fingers are not equal before His administration. You'll see that in His dealings with man (family/husband and wife, and society/setting authority). In Heaven, the angels are in hierarchy. God's hierarchy still oozes oneness. Two are now one flesh. And its the same with the Godhead. It is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

At least for the benefit of others and perhaps you, let's share lidu. Actually, I don't 'argue' doctrine cos though important, it's not pivot to salvation. Like for instance, one doesn't on compulsion need to grasp the virgin birth or even the rapture to be saved. Also, one may be 'aware' on issues like lord's supper, trinity, heaven and hell and still not possess eternal life.
So I want it clear that agreeing with Bible doctrine is not what saves us or condemns us. But it's good we grow in God.

Festus made this proclamation in the open, in fact, in the midst of principal men of the city. Yet, he was wrong. We should learn from this! Just because someone is continuously saying something, even unopposed, doesn't mean it is true. That you always see someone talking on television doesn't automatically mean he's the 'way to go'.
He may say it with a loud voice. He may say it with composure and oratory. He might say it among the who is who. He might even be to you, a most noble Festus. Talk is cheap. As a child of God, you need to search whether those things are so.
Search is the word in Acts 17v11. Not look, SEARCH. Don't get tossed about with one or two verses and some good to be true logic, stories and demeanour. SEARCH daily. God will keep you.

There's a place in the Word that says the tongue is a world. This shows that it is big. It has capacity. It shows then that everyone that can talk has a whole world to himself/herself. This should teach us not to be swayed by mere words. Talk is cheap.
Many people get carried away by just what they hear. They act and build their lives based on what a man says. In Today's passage, Festus said that Paul the apostle was mad. You know, that's not a sensible thing to say. But Festus said it boldly. The text says Festus said it with a loud voice. He must have been so sure of himself, you'll think.

The Word of God is the whole Bible, 66books. Not a verse or two. You don't pick up one verse and start running without regard for the remaining over 60 books which are a complete revelation of God and His nature to all men.
The Word of God is not maths, a+a =2a. It's not a book of incantations or magic where anyone who says labadundun the magic word has the door open.
The Word of God is alive, not a robot. It's a relationship. A relationship isn't an exact science. Factors abound.

Do you know some have a special part of the church service where they get blessed? To some, it is during the worship, to some it is when Bro Y is on the musical instrument or when Sis B is taking solo. To many it's when preacher A 'mounts the pulpit'. To them, every other thing na formality. They could even afford to slip into church just before their 'blessing time' comes.

Glory be to God the eternal One for another opportunity He's given that we may speak to one another. There is a book of remembrance with God. We are God's jewels. We are servants of Christ. Today's passage talks about Bible reading.
I've seen Bible reading observed in different services. Ever wondered like Judas, to what purpose is/was this? Why all this 'formality', regiment, tradition or whatyoucallit. Well, today's passage proves Bible reading time to be biblical. It sure fulfills its purpose.

But the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. If you're shortsighted or one-sided, you'll think the wicked owns all things. But it's all a mirage. There's assurance for the righteous. Stay with God and enter into the big picture. You're insured for eternity.

February 10 Proverbs 10v30

30. The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.


To be godly is simply to have the qualities of God. One of God's qualities is right perspective. Having the right view, like He said to Martha "one thing is needful". All other things will fail to matter if this one thing is out. In another place, He asks about what it will profit a person if he lost his soul, irrespective of what else he may gain.
That's God for you, godliness. He's not one sided, short-sighted. He looks not only at the action, but also at the heart. He considers not only the present but the whole of eternity. It is this same view with which Today's passage boldly declares 'the righteous shall never be removed'.

Same way, many feel to be doing God a favour by obeying Him and causing Him heartache by not doing His will. There may be some truth there but they real picture is given in Today's passage. You are wise for yourself.
Your choice to please God and draw nearer to Him in commitment and true holiness is actually for your good. You need God, not the other way round. That He pleads today and is seemingly slack is not to be misconstrued. If you scorn, you alone will bear it.
