@SirJohn
I'm not here to prove any healing to you. I'm not obliged to. The point is that there are far better things of wider consequences and rewards to engage in. The initial post doesn't in any way improve any life or glorify God. You could engage in more profitable activity like evangelising or praying instead of igniting criticisms and hate that lead to no-where.
You say you believe that God heals, yet you're already in a default position of doubt as to whether there's any healed of an organic ailment.

@huxley
maybe it will suffice you if I say that SirJohn sounded more like a doubter than you sounded. At least you BELIEVE that God has not hardened your heart, abi?

your sin's' have found you out again. Why don't you just humbly smite your chest and say 'God be merciful unto me, a terrible sinner'. Repent ye therefore, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.

hi, how is it that huxley seems to be more of a believer than you are? Are the harlots and the publicans becoming closer to the kingdom or what?
If you had any idea how many people do not know Jesus as Saviour, you'll drop this almost inconsequential 'ministry' and do the works of God.

@emporium
thanks for the post. Those good old days are still for Today. The problem is that many christians have been taught AGAINST the old fashioned way, but God's foundation stands sure and unmoveable. What we need is a personal revival. Let the revival start from the individual to his family to the fellowship. The Spirit of holiness is still in the world with us. All we need do is not doubt, Only Believe

June 1 Philippians 1:10

10. That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;

Its a great month already. My prayer to God for you is as our Today's passage which is also a prayer: That you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense, not just today, or this month, but till the day of Christ.
What a prayer to be answered at the beginning of the month! It's a lifelong, life-changing prayer. The standard of many believers has fallen, They can not approve the things that are excellent. They've settled for less, not for the best. What do you approve of? Some have even gone on to disdain and discourage EXCELLENT things. How excellent is your walk with God, Is your present life the best that you could live to please God? Do you hate and even persecute believers who approve of excellent things?
God's will is that you may approve things that are excellent, and that you should be sincere and without offence all the days of your life.
Sin is not excellent, stain is not excellent, worldliness is not excellent. These three and more should not be approved by you, in your life or in any other person's life. Discern what is THE BEST and be filled with the fruits of righteousness all through life. May God bless you.

Christianity Etc › Re: Wife Ok Before Marriage But Still Having Doubts by Image123(m): 12:46am On Jun 01, 2009
Well, since He's already married her, his problems are not many. The deed is done, it'll be unfair for him to be having doubts at this stage. All he needs to do now is commit his new family and marriage into God's hand. And when I say God, i mean God, not a church or some group of churches or anybody. God is the author of marriage and He is able to perfect everything in His marriage. He's to obey the commandment of God to love.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, Ephesians 5v25.
His love should be more than a feeling but a duty. Blessings

Just like has been explained, I think by osisi in another thread, it has something to do with the language. When you move near to someone, or love someone, you'll understand that person even more. Some actions that others may not like or criticise can be easily understood and tolerable to you, because you know him or love him.
Its mostly the same deal with God. If you know Him and love Him, you'll understand Him more and can even interprete His action to others. Thats why we usually tell unbelievers to come to love God first if they want to know and understand Him. What they tell us in return is "whats all this drivel?"
The Bible usually attributes all things to be done by God, in the sense of permitted by God. Nothing catches God by suprise. Of course when you look through the scriptures, the same scriptures explain to us that God is just, and pharaoh himself made the decision to harden himself and not let Israel go.(Exodus 8v32)
At the end, it boils down to the language. Like in my area, someone could say 'I'm coming', while the person is actually going. Because we understand, we don't make a fuss about it.

May 30 Proverbs 30v26

26. The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;

Wisdom is the secret of the achiever. The Achiever is exceeding wise. Very wise! What that means is that they make more wise decisions than foolish ones. Life is full of decisions. Everyday, there are lots and lotsa decision to be made. The difference between the achieves and the mediocre or even complete failure, is that, the achiever is EXCEEDing wise. He makes more wise decisions than foolish decisions.
The cony in our Today's passage is what we may call a rabbit. Now, one blow will kill a rabbit. Three (3) such blows may not even make a sickly person unconscious, not to mention kill.
The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks. The cony's wisdom exceeds many humans' today. The chapter says they are exceeding wise. They not sulking, and asking foolish questions, and blaming God and others, they've made wise decisions. They turn everything that they've got into strength. That's why they can make houses in the rocks. You too can be an achiever. You've got more than the feeble folk conies in you. Be diligent and wise to be an Achiever.

May 28 Job 28:28

28. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Considering God the Lord, who spoke the universe into existence, it doesn't take genius to know that there is power in the Word of God.
The book of Hebrews says God at many times and in various ways spake to men BY His prophets. Many times, you'll see something like "The Lord spake unto Moses, speak unto the people". The Lord didn't communicate much directly to ALL. Even in the new covenant, God has spoken to us by His Son. But our Today's passage says God said something to man.
This is direct to ALL. This is very important. This is powerful. What can be this important? Unto man he said, Behold, see,
(1.) the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and
(2.)to depart from evil is understanding.
You know the book of Romans tells us that those that are 'without understanding' are unrighteous and worthy of death. To depart from evil is understanding! Many people do not understand, they continue to make empty mouth confessions, saying 'I'm God's righteousness, I'm in right standing'. Yet they make no effort to depart from evil . This is called misunderstanding.
And God is saying unto man, see, Behold to DEPART from evil is understanding. The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. Listen to God from today, AHEAD OF every other thing, whether its your heart, head or whoever.

My epl team of the season.
GK: edwin van der saar, pure class.
DF: Sagna. So far, he seems unfortunate to be in his club, he should win things.
DF: Terry. There's only one John Terry.
DF: Nemanja Vidic. Another name for good.
DF: Evra.
MF: Mascherano
MF: Steven Gerrad
MF: Andrei Arshavin. May rule the epl next season barring injuries, the light shining in a dark place.
MF: CR7. The current Ronaldo.
FW: Nicolas Anelka. Professional striker.
FW: Carlos Tevez.
As the sub is Fernando Torres who's jogging all through each match ready to replace Tevez.
Their coaches are S.Alex Fergusson and Guus HiddinK:

Very funny thread. My worst epl players of the season are as follows:
GK: Gomez. Almost single-handedly carried Tottenham to the championship division. Thank God for competition.
DF: Micah Richards. was often a daymare on the pitch.
DF: Silvestre. Simply shameful stuff.
DF: Silvestre. He should repent.
DF: Silverstre. He should resign.
MF: Anderson. Cannot score a goal still in a team like ManUnited. He does it almost like its on purpose.
MF: Diaby. Omi garri player. He shouldn't even be in the stadium.
MF: Bentley. an amazing disappointment.
MF: Nasri. Way below par for someone who's meant to be ARSENAL's creative player. I think even their new buy had more assists and goals than he did.
FW: Alfonso Alves.
FW: Michael Owen

I think their coach should be Arsene Wenger. He's been reveling in mediocrity all season, and hardly seeing the obvious.

Bring ye all the tithe into the store house, that there may be meat in my house, that's the unchanging Word of God, after that you can do the other. God and His people take PRIORITY above any other in a Christian's life.
