If you are not the person God revealed that fable you wrote to, there's no justification of you sharing it.And if it is indeed revealed to you, the right thing to do is to go directly to the person the message is for, not to politicize or use it for campaign. No need to make a mockery of the faith for nothing.

I was reading on a topic on Nairaland and found old threads. Stubbled across the tongue speaking bible believing Lord Reed. What happened to him? What did he experience that took him away from the faith.

He made a promise, he said he would not back out any soon but in a space of 6 years he did. I want to call him back, I want to feel what he felt. I want to know what happened that forced such a change in such a short time. Maybe it's the empath in me but I want to because I can't understand.

You don't really want to know/feel the road of backsliding, it gets very steep. In summary on his behalf, he yielded too many times to the flesh/mind as against the spirit and Spirit.

Well, both your humble opinion and your "if I remember correctly" are very faulty. Obi performed so well and was so beloved by the people that he handily won second term, at the end of which his hand-picked successor, Obiano, can be said to have served Obi's 3rd term.

We've said the same thing, he won second term. Buhari won second term without defection. Many incompetent governors have won second term in Nigeria, it's not a unique achievement. He(Obi) handed over to Obiano from another party, not his party PDP.

It's a big red flag for me in my humble opinion. You can't be hyped as a fish out of water, you will not find your footing. Peter Obi has hardly found his footing in Anambra. He got 1st term unconvincingly by court and was impeached in some months time. If i remember correctly, he comes back by court and is defeated as an incumbent governor by PDP. Not convincing or strong enough in my opinion. Again he goes to court and wins based on complaints that he didn't finish his term before elections. If i remember correctly, he wins 2nd term by decamping and doesn't do enough to make people vote in his successor/party. He loses and hands over to Obiano from another party.
What i am rambling about is very clear, Obi is not that great or sterling savior we're looking for. Just the ordinary if i may say, sub standard performance. Let's hope he knows what he's doing and will not keep us running in circles.

Not only is his wife a professing Christian but a pastor in Redeemed. Tinubu has largely been responsible for giving a pastor Osinbajo as Vice President and two Christians Ambode and Sanwo as Lagos governors. It is unreasonable bias for Christians to attack him on Muslim/Muslim ticket knowing that is the strongest pair for him as a Southerner.

I like 3 of them, respect them. I think if Nigeria was USA, then Obi would be the best to vote for but unfortunately, this is Nigeria and we have to be sensible and not delude ourselves. He is not known outside the South. The worst option out of the 3 is Tinubu not because he is Yoruba but because of the people around him. This is not the Asiwaju of the old, this is an old man.This makes Atiku the best option because he is not a bigot, he has a successful private business and performed well as a Vice President.

For me, we need a visionary leader, not necessarily a saint. Even if Obi by some miracles win, what of all the governors, Senators and house of representatives members who are all PDP and APC? He'll just complain throughout about frustration and cabal against his plans. Obi didn't do clearly better than or above Ngige and Obiano in Anambra asides from claiming prudence. Not sure there will be much positive change from his government as against the rest. The major positive will be that at last a Southeast person and a Christian turn to be president. That's all.
All that I drive myself, I fetch water to bathe, I eat one meat, my son uses tecno phone is not what we need. We need someone to build strong and lasting institutions.
