i focus on Jesus, not on priests, levites or Samaritans. Their lesson is well noted though and hardly has any bearing contrary to the points i have made. i said you should obey the Bible if you truly believe it. i said ALL. Jesus Christ like you said came to feel the suffering, in fact He rejected the pain reliever. Of course, you will feel pain and tribulation if something bad happens. i don't mean one should be stoic or inconsiderate, we even mourn with them that mourn. What i mean is that you don't feel utter despair, hopelessness or devastation like most others do. If you read the life of the early apostles, all these things you call great were light afflictions that they even rejoiced over. People were going into fire and dens and singing joyfully. They are not hopeless, they believe in and even see an eternity of joy despite pain.

Reed, consistently disobeying the Word of God means you do not believe it or fear the God. Divorce is against the will and Word of God, everyone knows that except when they want to twist a clear and direct thing. Sin is terrible, it can hinder Jesus Christ Himself from God the Father. Disobeying God can lead to the expulsion of the only two humans on earth. If i divorce or commit sin, i am no more a believer. It's as clear as holding a gun to a metal detector. It doesn't matter who holds it, it will read and detect. Nothing traumatizing about it.

If you believe the Bible, you will obey it. It's what it is. We both know that the Bible is against divorce.

The rapture is not an excuse for laziness, stagnancy or a lack of vision. Anyone who manages to know the Bible enough knows that the believers will still inherit the earth and rule over it for about a thousand years. Did they teach you that when your ears still functioned properly?

Many factors come into play BTW. However let's start with the fact that God watched as His own Son was unjustly killed in the most gruesome manner. This was followed closely by the martyred deaths of MOST of the early apostles. It still did not stop Him from being glorified.
