If you lost interest why follow DrummaBoy's advise.
If you've resumed interest then it shouldn't be too much trouble getting back to where you went off.
What is drumb's advice and how did i follow it? i didn't resume interest, whatever that means.

I think you are the one itching to see names named and you have indeed done some yourself.
Why the fascination with names? Why not just learn so that whatever name presents a
falsehood or error, today, tomorrow, whenever, you will be quick to spot it and take steps
accordingly?
i recall almost pleading at that time and the exhortations then.page 6 et al.

No i didn't, i lost interest and hardly skim through recent posts. So you changed your mind, point it out if you can.

DrummaBoy:
I commend the efforts of trustman and BabaGnoni on their contributions to F14 and F15. The thesis that we began to pursue many months ago on the errors of the Word of Faith have been proven beyond any reasonable doubt. For one, the mouths of those who propound and defend these doctrines have been shut, at least on this thread. And by the grace of God, there errors will become evident in the days to come for all to see. If after this anyone still believes and practice Word of Faith, they will be without excuse on that Day.
Perhaps, we may hastily conclude too that your mouth was shut all the while you didn't post here as drumb? The thread lost impetus since like forever. Also, hanging all the perceived ills of Christianity on WOF don't make it WOF. For one, i saw no hope whatsoever on the thread when you and co seriously shied away from any point blanks preferring rather to discuss the dead and largely unknown.

Clap for yourself. Just know it's blind, unquestionable faith that is responsible for the brainwashed BH, ISIS people, people eager to do what their god commands without using their 'god-given' mind to ask questions... because after all, you can't use logic to understand god.

Go and kill ursef? Will Jesus say that?
The Christian faith is not blind, it is trusting. Also, the Christian faith asks and answers questions. It is another matter if you are willing to hear its answers.

Weah96: With responsibility comes choice. No choice is being offered me to believe. This creator must have known before I was created that my brain wouldn't tolerate the fairy tales.

Can a smartphone be responsible for receiving an incoming text? Would you punish a DVD player for playing a DVD?
Man believes with the heart, not the brain. A human being is not a smartphone, stop the insult. A human is responsible for what he does with what he receives, he was made in God's image. He was made with ability to overcome and dominate. There's always consequence for loss of productivity.

Do people get dumber as soon as they stop tithing or what? It seems the devourer tweaks a little something in them individual's brains. Some ridiculous fellow is crying foul at being sacked from a place he hopes to destroy. Does he really think TDJ would be insane enough to keep him as a staff? Does he really expect a good review of his book when his book is antagonistic to the church's teaching? Pretty deluded fellow imo.
Also, it is right for people to feel bad for not doing right (whatever right is). Humans are created with conscience, fellows should stop pathetic attempts at crude psychology. True freedom is in knowing Jesus, not in starting or stopping tithes.

Oduduwaboy: Candy really tried. Am sure she is a true christian sister! But i dont like it when christians appropriate the efforts of other people and ascribe it to their god. See, if god wanted to prove he is the one behind IVF , then we should be doing IVF in church and not in expensive fertility clinics. Why should god allow one to pay tithes & offerings & other givings in faith for 9 years to his church only to still have to go and pay N1.5million for two cycles of IVF and you still think it is right for god or whatever to claim the glory? why allow the heartaches for 9 years ? why did the pastors still keep urging him to have faith in God even when he had already registered at the fertility clinic? i laugh at the excuses people will make to sustain the god idea!!!!!
Efforts would be worthless and frustrated if God doesn't permit it. God is not limited to church building.

Oduduwaboy: God 'spoke' the limitless universe into being ( that is the claim); why cant he speak the word and make his little hand-maiden pregnant as he did while creating the universe? has he changed? IVF was developed through several years of intense work not by divine revelation. Then, you must note that the success rate of IVF is the same among muslim, christians, pagans & Atheists ; does this get across a message to you or not?
candy has explained to you, hope you now understand? God is not limited, He can use more than one way as He pleases. He can use human beings to protect as He did for Paul, He can use angels like He did for Elisha. He can use IVF as He did for your friend. Children are from God, He doesn't give only christians children. His goodness is to all His creation.
Christianity Etc › Re: If The Old Testament Is Of A Perfect God, Why The New Testament?? by Image123(m): 4:35pm On Oct 02, 2014
Xcapist: I always believed that God is perfect - almighty and all knowing, and He neither lies nor errs. He is perfect and his word is true and final. But I struggled for a long time with some scriptures in the old Testament, especially ones that seem to portray God's ethical failings and the sickening gory details of some of the rites and rituals. The new Testament, though, seem to fix a lot of these initial issues.

But my question is if God is perfect, why do we need two testaments - one to fix fulfill the other?
The testaments are for men not God. It's like asking a pharmacist why he made a drug if he's not sick.

nannymcphee: I'm amazed that this is all you could could get from the writeup

On the issue of fans, aren't u ashamed to use such word with respect to the church

Is this the premier league, so one can call u a fanatic then!!

Here is what your bible has to say to you.

1corinthians3:3-7

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
@nanny
There's no thrust whatsoever for me to ponder on from the article, i'm not a proponent of touch not my anointed. Sorry about that, i thought i made that clear earlier? So your defense for the holes in the article is that the writer is human? Really?
i've shared my views on areas i felt the article made no sense and i've also seen your excuse. Don't take it personal, i'm on your side. Come to think of it, even if I wasn't on your side? Don't take it personal. On the issue of fans, do you think Paul had fans in Corinth? You sound unusually shamefaced for a CEC BTW.

Interesting article by Oremosu. However, it's shoddy how the writer arrived at a conclusion that Oyedepo was bigger than Jesus Christ in Winners church. No need to wonder how stuff would play out with Oyedepo if daughter of a Senator or some other prominent member of society came to him in front of everybody forming witch. Ask them in covenant university. Ask them how able Oyedepo is.
On Peter and Paul, Peter was wrong, Paul was right, Peter took to correction. Very simple. No need to autosuggest the writer's DAYDREAM it is only a dream. Also according to 1Corinthians, Paul and Peter also had fans, no be today. Otherwise, interesting article.

Gabson91: There is an accusation against the church of God from the pit of hell, but we must and will prevail. The truth will definitely come out and those behind this exposed.
Hope you're not referring to the scoan building collapse and the Can president's scandal as accusation? Those are not accusations oh, they are truths that are definitely out. The building did collapse, there was indeed dollars and real human beings on Can president's plane. The pit of hell is innocent in this matter.
Christianity Etc › Re: Synagogue Building Collapse Was Controlled Demolition – Emmanuel Tv by Image123(m): 10:03pm On Sep 29, 2014
anthonyweah: Those of you who want to crucify the servant of God because of the collapse building just because you think he should have seen and averted it, why don't you question the integrity of prophet Elisha in the book of 2 kings 4:27. The son of the shunammite woman died, Elisha was the prophet over her and God did not show him of the death of the son. If you are a christian please take your time to read God's word well before you criticise. God bless you with wisdom.
Oh spare me the insult, the attempted attempt to compare TB to Elisha is an irredeemable insult, do not repeat it i pray you. Elisha did not build more than 2-storey on a 2-storey foundation. Elisha didn't get stuck, TB is stuck and the losses irreparable. There was NO loss for Elisha. Even when Elisha's boys mistakenly took death/poison, nobody died. Unfortunately, due to scoan negligence, scores of people are dead dead, many others are injured and disabled for life. No single miracle yet for the victims. Don't compare again.

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Says nothing of giving up best or worse.
wow, i for one never thought Olaa was quoting any Bible verse, not to talk of misquoting. It is an imperative fact that those who give God the best would not be last.
