MissJoy29 Nigerians are very religious not because they truly loved or want to serve God. It is simply the last thing to give them hope. Go to an hospital for treatment of leg injury. If you're very very lucky to live there alive. Be rest assured you will live with head, hand, back injuries. My sister went for typhoid treatment in a Federal Teaching Hospital. Guess what?! She ended up almost having a total ear damage occasioned by the doctors prescription. |

pocohantas: Finally, someone with understanding Very devilish! I am a realist. I have to align my line of thought with the obvious. We have more sex workers here in Nigeria than those that have legalized theirs. We pretend not to accept the obvious because they are undocumented or been called runs girls, hustle, slayqueen, etc. By the way, prostitution is the oldest profession and it isn't without its usefulness to the society. I have written about that " https://www.nairaland.com/3164977/why-men-wont-stop-patronizing". |
Romance › Re: Sex Booths In Zurich, Switzerland Where Prostitutes & Customers Meet For Sex by IMASTEX: 10:14pm On Aug 29, 2018 |
WORDWORLD: In order words, Nigerians should STOP pretending and come out in the open with all HER DEVILISH ACTS like this country, exploiting such a menance all for the sake of money?
The major problem with this so called 'MORDERN WORLD' is not so much in the perversion of the will but INTELLECTUAL VACUITY.
When the IGNORANT are glorified as men and women of WISDOM.
ANYWAY, IT IS VERY TRUE THAT THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL IS IN THE 'LUST' FOR MONEY. BECAUSE OF THIS LUST, THOSE WITHOUT COMMON SENSE KEEP ERODING OUR COMMON GOOD IN THE NAME OF CIVILIZATION.
How did the subject 'PROSTITUTION' got converted to RITUALS.
If the aim is an exposition of NIGERIANS' HYPOCRISY, then it is an INTELLECTUAL inclination to remain at the core of the subject by criticism, coming up with data that reflects for example, the rate of condoms consumption or rate of abortion in Nigeria.
RITUALS IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT TOPIC.
To those who think this is a good development. How many of you will want your Daughters, Sisters, Mothers, Aunties, Nieces.......earn their living through prostitution when there are other options on the table. This is what i am saying, your argument is based on pure religious sentiment. Prostitution remains one of the oldest profession since time immemorial and it will continue to remain so whether you acknowledged it or not. My point is, Nigerians pretend over so much obvious happening a lot because of religious sentiments which hasn't helped anyone. Why not regulate the activities of these people teaching them safe practices. Rather than living the already saturated profession without checks. Go to those quack clinics, you will see women in numbers risking their lives for D&C. Let's not talk of the ritual killings & self medications, etc. This people have their own uses in the society, I have even written about that " https://www.nairaland.com/3164977/why-men-wont-stop-patronizing." Meanwhile, the Western world are done with basic issues of life. I.e. food, healthcare, security, etc. So they are very free to explore other areas. Unlike, Nigeria that hasn't even started in meeting up basic needs, issues like this wouldn't make any meaning at the moment. No one would wish his relative such career. But how many women or men keep one single partner at a time? Or it is because we have modified their name here. I.e. slayqueen, runs girls, hustle, etc. |
Romance › Re: Sex Booths In Zurich, Switzerland Where Prostitutes & Customers Meet For Sex by IMASTEX: 6:09pm On Aug 29, 2018 |
pocohantas: The government acknowledged the fact that prostitution is a growing industry. Whereas here in Nigeria, we're calling our own slayqueen and killing them for rituals.
Upon all our sanctimonious attitude and ritual killings, our poverty index is very worrying. You have stated the reality. Nigeria pretend to be religious yet more devilish at heart. |
Politics › Re: Lagos State Has Highest Foreign Debt In The Country- DMO by IMASTEX: 5:53pm On Aug 29, 2018 |
ebenholer: There is nothing to justify Lagos being in debt, a state with monthly internal revenues that is up to thrice the allocations gotten from FG, and u think such state should be justified. How many Job opportunities has Ambode created since he assumed office, hundred of thousands u think. It is condemnable for Lagos to accrue such debt. But for that of Edo State?! The government that ever borrowed those money especially Osho's administration should be jail for the same number of years as the money borrowed, of course after converting the money in Naira. |
