Please,no need to start calling any1 spies.I think montelik prefers2 think d worst to avoid disappointment.Calling him a spy is going overboard IMHO.It's a huge pity that we canot agree on who to vote for, very very sad,we shulda just chosen 2 people and stuck to them.if na codeine we do,if una say bakassi,we follow.I no just understand una anymore.Abeg make una decide and tell us wey no kno how to strategise.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by imconfused(f): 4:09pm On Sep 27, 2010
@ montelik,I've been following this thread but rarely comment and I am really disappointed by the pessimism you keep on displaying.Even if munya has strategised and all,we can pull our resources together and vote till we drop for our boy uti.Even if we go down,we won't go without a fight.Your comments are always depressing.

aisha2,

Hi.i sometimes think of suicide too,not that im going to do it but life becomes so frustrating at times that u just entertain the thought.
Is it possible for u to see a therapist? it doesn't mean your a nut case, you need an outlet and i would rather u go to a professional than someone who might spill your beans later.
I cannot imagine how horrid it feels to have a demon at work and to come home to another hell, It must be tough.
Please try to search for someone to talk to(professionally),it will be worth every dime.

I also have a place on my lappie, just a journal where i write all my frustrations.u can lock it so no 1 can read it, u r free to express yourself, your own personal world.try it, it helps ok??I'd scream at God there and ask him y.There were times i'd just curl up on the floor and cry hours on end to the amazement of my sis, lol.

I pray it gets better

@ ALL
no point wasting your saliva.
He's hell bent on the east media,
Well, goodluck to you sirr and God speed
I wish you all the best.

I was quite close to the cosmo people and they were recieving in the hundreds, plus side gigs as djs, voice overs etc. Some even went into music production, and freelancing to make a quick buck, Most have escaped from enugu though.
By the way, most of them are young boys in their mid-late twenties, No responsibilities.
It's not like i'm saying that all your money will come from the salary, NO, all dem side gigs are far and inbetween,
Media is not as lucrative in the east. The time spent building that presence down there could be well spent elsewhere raking in so much more.

Thing is this, your mind is made up.
I officially throw in the towel. grin cool
God's grace sir !!! smiley
CareerRe: I Am Confused - Job Satisfaction Or Renumeration? by imconfused(f): 8:08am On May 21, 2010
Believe me, poster will have more bp problems worrying about money and calculating how to spread 90k to pay all the bills. angry angry
Your wife says whatever will make you happy so i'm guessing your marriage is still very new and fresh, lol.those groovy dreamy days where love is clouding the mind. grin cheesy
I'd advise for you to talk this over with her face to face so you'll explain the full consequences and gravity of this decision, maybe she's just saying it so you'll quit whining and complaining about the commute.
Other people have suggested you look for work in this your media somewhere in Lagos or Abuja where you have the opportunities to cast your net wider.
I do not know which other way to open your eye to the dryness, the mediocrity, the lack of drive in that place you want to relocate to.
Cosmo fm which would have at least paid you in hundreds of thousands is now defunct. The guys that worked there have left to look for greener pastures, some even moved to work in the new cool fm for cool cash.i don't know why your own is 90k.
I wish i could glue your bum to your job in Lag but unfortunately, i cannot.
For the mom and sisters encouraging you,i hope you made it very clear that an end will come to all allowances cos you simply will not have money to spare.I'm just saying this so that no one will say that since you moved to Enugu your wife has made you to stop sending money.
Heck, with that salary, you'll have to struggle to pay for a creme school in enugu for your baby.
Have you thought about job opportunities for your wife who is graduating soon? Is Enugu the best place for her to start her career?
The main jobs in there are doctor, banker, lecturer, secretary, daddy's money or self employed.
Nothing good comes easy, you must not be in love with your job or surroundings, your main drive should be to provide the best possible life for your family. You should put them FIRST not yourself.
Think hard and good.God has blessed you with a good job and a good pay.You can save your media talents for later when you have saved enough.
A word is enough for the wise sir.I'm sorry for being a bit harsh.
May God lead you in making the right decision.
CareerRe: I Am Confused - Job Satisfaction Or Renumeration? by imconfused(f): 8:03am On May 20, 2010
@ poster

I totally agree with chaircover

Has your wife told you that she is willing to endure the lowering of living standard this change of jobs will bring?
People work the hardest when they are young.Your family is still a very young one and will probably expand. How will you feed them with 90k.
I lived in Enugu almost all my life and i swore i would do my best to get out, i am fighting tooth and nail for my man to leave that place.I am shocked that a young agile man who has a lot going for him would want to move down there.
Enugu and environs is mainly for people who are looking to live a slow paced life, people who have made it and are simply looking to relax. There are no industries,no factories, almost zero incentives for a young ambitious hustler and you will most likely be pulled into the mediocrity and suffer a loss of your ambition.Do you have an alternative business to supplement the 90k?
Most young people there are struggling to go to better places to search for greener pastures, the ones left are either living off rich daddy's pocket, politicians or people who simply have no other options.
Let's say you spend 10k weekly on feeding= 40k per month
Fuel about 4 or 5k a week = 20k a month
Clothing = 10k or more
Miscellanous expenses = 10-15k
Light bills = 5-6k
Please what will you have left? How will you pay the school fees?
My dear, it is best to suffer small now while you have the energy than to spend your days huddled over a piece of paper calculating how to stretch the 90k.
Money is not everything but i bet providing a good life for your family comes first.
You are in nija,im sorry to say that being satisfied with your job doesn't count.

You should consider transfering your wife's schooling to Lagos.I understand your marriage is fairly new and for that i feel your pain.If they can up your salary to something more decent, fine.If not, forget sentiments, stay in Lag and start looking for ways to move your family over.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@ smugwhtever :Am always happy when i hear about girls and abortion. Its always a good thing to know that a girl has had an abortion and it only goes to show how gullible and silly she was. These days i try to date vunerable women who end up enjoying sex so much and in between they end up getting pregnant and missing their period. Those 2-3 weeks they have missed their periods is so hilarious when you see them scared and shaking and talking all kind of sh**t to see if the preganancy will go away and you end up coercing them to do the abortion unless their lives will be over as they know it.

They take 1 week or so weighing the pros and cons of it and the fear of humilation drives them to accept it and plead with me not to tell anybody, not knowing i am laughing inside and spilled the beans to some of my boys that that LovePeddler is about to "drop one very soon"

Getting an abortion doctor is so damn simple cos some of them were university buddies and will take chump change to do a d/c on them and i always make sure the doctor performs the painful one when he inserts a plier looking object deep into their va-gina and draws out the foetus. You can always hear the whincing and screaming and oozing of blood by the chic when am sitting outside close to the room that she is been perforated untop . . and at that moment i am laughing myself hoarse thinking how this same LovePeddler in the abortion room was doing shakara for me when i was toasting her and all her forming and silly words. Now she is crying blood as they are about to remove possible her last chance to be a mother and most of the time, i would be fairly comfortable if the doctor tells me privately that her womb has been permanently damaged and when i hear stuffs like that, i know mission accomplished and after a week or so of trying to feel sympathetic with her for losing the child, i pick up a violent quarrel and break up with her to complete the cycle.
I can't count how many times i have gone through this process with women but i really do enjoy what i do and even though the chic ends up swearing for me as if i give a rats backside, i try and leak the story to my boys who end up spreading the word to other prospective boys to avoid her and thats when that shakara looking biatch ends up going to churc to become a full born again because her social life has been partally ruined while mine is just beginning
U MAKE ME SICK angry
is this person 4 real??
do u think it is a joke??
how can u sound so smug and heartlesshuh angry angry
