Its not a big deal, but it depends on the neighbourhood. You don't try that in certain areas in broad day light otherwise pple will start to stare with their mouths wide open, or possibly start to throw stones at you or call your gf all kinds of names!

He sounds to me like he can be a bit controlling and has trust issues. Trust me, dats not a good thing and over time it'll get worse. I've been in a relationship with sumone like that before and although I loved him to bits I just knew that he would never change and I could not be with someone like that for the rest of my life. I would constantly blame myself and tell myself for his over reactions and public outbursts and make excuses for his behaviour, but at the end of the day I had to let go coz I knew although I was faithful his insecurities ran real deep and I would be miserable as his wife.

If you think you can live with it, then fine, but if ud rather not want to live the rest of your life pretending to be someone you're not, then I'd say let it go,
