This reaction is coming too late in the day, they should have said this earlier. The Acn government in Lagos is a government of the elites. Lagosians should just bear the tolling for the two remaining years so that come 2015 they will kick away the Acn taskmasters and elect a people's oriented government. Looking at the situation objectively Fashola should be allowed to complete his tenure at least he has not done badly in the area of infrastructure. |
These people are just heating up the polity instead of working and delivering democracy dividends to the masses. The governors forum should be scrapped ![]() |
]apabio is promising? A crooked and lawless election rigger is promising? A bad and corrupt financial manager dishing state money on frivolous nonsense like luxury jeeps for celebrities and sending people to dubai is promising? A man whose budget is the largest in Nigeria with little or nothing to show for it? A man who is using dummy Tropicana project to loot the state? N75 billion abandoned project? May God help Nigeria or maybe I should say you already corrupt leaders of tomorow..[/s]
Total crap, rubbish, hatred is really a bad thing. Choke on the bile. |
If only we can fix our electricity supply, Nigeria will be an investors paradise. |
Eko Ile: No, you are obsessed with Ikoyi link bridge hence your bad bele and attention here. You are a sadist who views the progress of others through myopic eyes of bitterness, to you the world revolves around Lagos, i implore you to change your ways before it is too late. <strolls out> |
Eko Ile: .... I feel your pain, 30 years beg beg for common village river bridge gets very traumatic and.depressing.Lol you are obsessed with the Second niger bridge, i hope you won't get an heart attack when the project comes on stream. I am not even igbo, i am from Akwa ibom where we have first class infrastructure projects, where people are not enslaved, where we freely enjoy our completed projects, where we don't have a thieving political Godfather who milks us dry.....i can go on and on ![]() |
Let me chip in this, i am not a Deltan however i did my youth service in delta. I don't see the Anioma state movement being realised anytime soon. Delta state's land mass is relatively small, how many local government areas will make up Anioma state? I think the Anioma region shouldn't have been part of delta state. Ibb was in a haste to make his wife's village Asaba the capital of a new state when he created delta state. The capital of Delta state should have been Warri. |
Pathetic celebration of slavery. Tinubu's toll gates looks beautiful sha ![]() |
DailyNews: you just said it all bro, you are a good counsellor. Thanks |
Future/tomorrow never ends. They're just selling people a dream and most of the so-called investments only cater to the elites. Just kind of like bringing the services they travel outside Nigeria for - to them. Ain't nothing changed - just another day in Nigger-dom - and people hoping and hoping for a brighter tomorrow. ![]() The economy is growing but the money is with the plutocrats. Nigeria's practising one the most extreme forms of capitalism.
Shymmex when will you visit the Nigeria for the first time on your life to see things for yourself instead of relying on what you read on nairaland? |
This man Buhari is so delusional. Apc might win some states & local government councils but one thing is sure, the wildeyed power hungry fanatic will lose heavily come 2015!!. |
Mr cork is on nairaland to provide comic relief. I guess the operator of this id has a more serious id. |

Don jazzy will never go down, he will always be on top, he is the most humble Nigerian celeb on twitter, he always identifies and shares goodies with his fans. May God bless him. |
obadiah777: SPEAKING OF SWEETS I AM QUITE PARTIAL TO WERTHERS https://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/images/large/CY0108.jpgSweets are unhealthy for the teeth. They cause cavities and destroys the gums. Stop licking them. |
At home i use my fingers to wipe off the remnants of the soup on my plate then i lick it. I also suck, chew and crush the bones. Nothing should be wasted! |
We have always known the anti-democratic & arrogant character of Amechi, we know what he is up to. This news report confirms everything. When we see the sudden display of love & affection for Amechi by Acn & Cpc folks here we are amused because they do not know the true character and antics of the man they're fighting for. As usual i expect Lie mohammed to try to put a spin on this tomorrow. |
Nigerians do adulterate food products. Wicked and greedy people sell bad products in the market ranging from impure water packaged in satchets and sold off as "pure water" to expired tins of milk, some even mix garri with sand! In my former street there was a shop owner who specialized in selling fake & expired products. He sold stale bread, rotten tomatoes, rotten eggs, stale buns, insect infested beans etc, the funny thing is that people bought from him! When they check other shops they can't find the items they will go back to "manage" the ones he had in stock.....smh |
Gtb is a top class Nigerian bank. I wonder if they also assessed banks in Egypt and South Africa. |

kcjazz: Sule Lamido for the past few years has been groomed to become a future President of Nigeria, whether that would be 2015 or not can't say but he will be up there when a Northerner takes over. Under his leadership Jigawa State is growing and he has improved greatly the infrastructures in the state. Thanks for the link. His focus on education is commendable cos the levels of illiteracy in the north is quite high. I think he needs to speak out against the almajiri system. |
Oohrhii: Thank you. |

My girlfriend has joined or is about joining the illuminati sect. We have been together for 7 months without any major quarrel but two days ago we had a big argument over this issue and since then she has remained incommunicado. It started three weeks ago when i checked through her phone(we are free with each other's phones) and i found out that she was browsing something on the history of the illuminati sect, i didn't pay much attention and casually asked her and she said she was just being curious and i decided to let it slide. Before now i had told her my view of the satanic sect called illuminati whose mission is to destroy all religions and impose a one world government on all of us. Two days later i saw a photo she snapped with one of her friends; in the photo they were displaying the illuminati sign, covering one half of their faces with their palm. This aroused my suspicions. Later i overhead her chatting with this friend on the possibilty of getting a tattoo that week, this is coming from someone who in our prior discussions on this issue was always of the opinion that tattoos are devilish stuffs. I also noticed that she had started listening to music from illuminati based artists like lady gaga, Kanye west, Jayz and justin bieber. It was at this stage that i asked her why the sudden interest in the illuminati & if she wanted to join the illuminati but she just kept mum. I noticed she became overprotective of her phone. Three days ago when she came to my place, my curiosity got the better of me and i timed her movements, when she went outside to pick up something, I went through her phone and saw that she had been browsing for illuminati centers in Nigeria. She rushed into the room, saw her phone in my hand & quickly grabbed it from me, i confronted her and she flared up and shouted “what's the big deal if she wanted to join the illuminati”, and left. Since then she has refused to pick my calls and have also refused to see me. I told my friend this and he said i was just being paranoid over nothing. The question that has been bothering my mind is 'Why would a beautiful 22 yrs old young lady be so interested in the illuminati all of a sudden'? I love her and she loves me too, i don't want to lose her, neither do i want to be associated with anything that has to do with the illuminati. Nairalanders what should i do? |
Good one by the House of reps members. Nigeria is no place for gays and lesbians, we will always stick to our traditional African values and culture. |
