And I love u too baby. . . . anyways, um. . . . em . . . . . can I still hit it? U know I been begging for this for a while now!
No, you can't hit it. I'd rather let my Honduran hit. He does a damn good job at it. He's been doin' a good job for a while now so why ruin a good thing? |
excoba101:lol, I think so ![]() |
In all honesty, I agree with you ![]() @Ink Most statements with "most" are usually opinions.
Hmmm, sometime. If you had info to back up what you said I would have went with it but since there isn't I have to believe that its an opinion. |
excanny:looooooool |
Cool . Are you studying there? |
@Kobojunkie: you've made some interesting points. |
If you don't mind me asking, what country are you in excoba101? |
excoba101:People from Pakistan are still considered Asian as well. Just because they don't have chinky eyes like people of other Asian nations doesn't mean their not Asian. Majority of Asians aren't "mixed breed" though [not that I'm saying that you said most are]. Seeing a lot of them doesn't necessarily mean majority are. |
Ogaga4Luv:I get what your saying Ogaga4Luv. The pictures reminds me of a scene from the movie "Cidade de Deus". |
excoba101:And how did you come to this conclusion? |
@OP: I have a friend who once told me that he would NEVER date or marry an Asian woman. He thinks all Asian women are ugly and have ugly bodies. |
Ewww, gross. The whale died there, its not like they killed the whale and decided to eat it. What are they vultures?!?! Why would you eat a something that you just found dead on the ground. I'm pretty sure if they saw a dead goat of chicken on the side of the road they wouldn't eat it so why would anyone wanna eat something that just died. I'm pretty sure they don't even know what caused that animals death. The pictures don't even gross me out, its the fact that their eating a dead animal they just found that's what grosses me out. |
@OP: Influencing or corrupting, take your pic? ![]() Seun:I was wondering the same thing as well. There are some many Nigerians who are making positive changes within the Nigerian community yet these "influential Nigerians" are only people who seem to part of the entertainment industry which a lot of young Nigerians are so desperate to emulate. Give me a break!!! Gone are the days when you'd see a young person wanting to aspire to be something other than a rapper, singer, or actor/actress. |
madlady: SA Goddess:lol, aww you guys are too nice. I'll start a thread over the weekend and we'll see how it goes. |
Ranoscky:He's neither Igbo nor Yoruba. I will admit, he is a mega tribalists but I'm not gonna knock him down the way you guys are. He has his good side and his bad side. |
rhymz:Well said. You've made a lot of interesting points. Ya know, I wish bk.babe97y wasn't in denial of his tribalist way of thinking. Sometime I feel like taking him to cultural rehab so he'd stop it. |
chyz1:lol lol lol lol ![]()
We've heard that Yoruba men are ugly, Yoruba men practice polygamy, Yoruba men wear this and that. . . . this mostly said by men of other tribes in Nigeria. But why is it that Yoruba men can get any woman they want? Why are they loved by women every tribe? This thread is not a bragging right, but some people need to think about this and why Yoruba men are taking their women. Instead of piling dirt of insults on Yoruba men, why not emulate them? Increase rate of marriages between Yoruba men/Igbo, Yoruba/edo, Yoruba/non-nigerian women etc. Is it because they have the "swagga" or because other women loff our culture? Is it because they're the most endowed? ==> https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-227982.0.html Is it because they're "promiscuous"? ===> https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-230292.0.html FACT remains; They're the most wanted by women, yet thee most hated by men. Something to reflect on
I'm not tryin' to rain on your parade or anything but this is a matter of opinion rather than fact. |
madlady:I've got tons of recipes that I wouldn't mind sharing. Girl, ya just gotta learn to work with your hair not against it. When you find something that works for you, stick with it. I've heard that henna looses up hair a bit, but think its temporary though .SA Goddess:Lmao, I just realized that you two were suggesting that I start a thread. I initially thought madlady was saying that she wanted to start a thread. |
I voted for bk.babe97y as the "The Top Ten Most Tribal Nairaland Members" |
Lmao, OP how can you post the pic here and not provide us with a recipe? ![]() |
madlady:No my dear [lol], I said it strengthens the hair not straightens it. SA Goddess:Lmao. When you said patch it made me think of bald spots. Can you imagine him having bald spots down there? LMFAO. |
I enjoy playing my guitar in the guava tree my grandmother planted for me before I was born. There's just something about looking up at the sky at that moment that creates a sense of nirvana within me. Sometimes, it just feels like all is well and nothing can go wrong. |

Dad's Black. . . his fam is from the South. Me I'm from NY, and I'm hot as hell. j/k Oh, and Ileke Idi, Michelin89, Inked Nerd, and a whole lotta other chics on here is begging to have my baby!
Ummm sweetie, when did I say I wanted to have your baby? I guess joining Nairaland has made it a lot easier for you to look for concubines to join your harem. Anyway, keep up the good work [just keep me out of it] .
Black and Hispanic. He's bi-ethnic/muti-ethnic as well. |
madlady:Hmmm, well shea butter is primarily for moisturizing. . . Hmmm, do you use shea butter to wash your hair? The Chandrika soap can be used on hair [I think]. If you really wanna try some ayurvedic soap for hair then you might wanna consider Shikakai shampoo soap. I think you might like that. It lathers very well, strengthens hair, and promoted hair growth. You can find these products at your local Indian beauty supply store. I'll try to make a stop off in one of the Indian stores in Manhattan so I can stock up on some that way I won't have to go back there unless I really need something. Doing the BC the second time around made me realize that I really don't need a lot of things to care and style my hair. Next week, I'll be making some flax seed hair gel. I've already got the seeds and other ingredients so all I need to do is buy some more essential oils and then I'm good to go. I recently found out about a supposed "natural"/ "organic" hair gel that has some nice ingredients in it. Normally, I'm not a product junkie but I'm willing to give this one a try. Its called African Formula Super Grow Hair Gel. The name alone kinda sounds kinda dodgy. Anyway, I'll give it a go and see how it goes. SA Goddess:Lmao, oh Lord!!! Can't wait to see what bk.babe97y says when he sees this . |
ROSSIKE:Hmmm, interesting info. |
Personally, I don't really feel that its necessary to eat breakfast in the morning. I went a whole semester without eating breakfast and I was fine throughout the day[I usually at lunch though]. Normally, what I did [before the semester when I stopped eating breakfast] was load up on breakfast. The following semester which was the one when I stopped eating breakfast, I had no problem adjusting to the change in how I ate. The reason I stopped eating breakfast was because I had a tight morning schedule so at the most, if I was lucky I'd have a cup of tea and run out the house. |
newakata:Ummm, how did you come to this conclusion? There are MANY sexist men in the the US. Just because Nigerian men are more forthcoming about their sexist beliefs doesn't mean that American men aren't sexist. You don't have to announce your sexist beliefs to be a sexist person. |
Yeah, right! I'm hittn that P**sy of urs and u know it! lol I do have a daughter, but no nigga dare. Hey, u wanna have another for me?
Oh so you have a kid huh? Sorry homie, I'm not looking for an instant family. MzDarkSkin:lol lol lol, yes indeed. I wouldn't expect anything less . Oh by the way MzDarkSkin, I love your signature . |
^^^U wanna touch my hair?! No, not that one. I meant the one just below my waist!^^^
Lmao, I don't mind touching your hair [on your head] but I'm not touching the one "down there" .SA Goddess:Hehehe, don't mind him. He wants me to touch him by any means necessary. |
Yeah, she DJays as well but lately she's been making a name for herself with her sense of fashion and occasional modeling gigs. I usually find a lot of helpful info on the sites posted. lol, ya ever realize that Black men have hair issues as well? I have a Ghanaian friend who wants to grow locs and every time I see him, I always run my hands through his hair. He hasn't loc'ed them and isn't quite sure when he'll loc it but there's just something about seeing and feeling his hair in its natural state that makes me wanna touch his hair. lol, he never seems to touch my hair though since a lot of Black men think that women don't to have their hair touched [even though a lot don't actually like it]. I have another friend who had waist length curly locs and my hands are always in his hair when I see him. We could just be watching tv and I'll randomly start touching his hair. Hehehe, its nice having mutual understanding with natural haired men. |
SA Goddess:Your are so right, it does feel lighter. lol, I know I picked a bad time. I actually just took a shower a few minutes ago and I'm one of those people who likes to apply products while my hair is still wet so I'm really feelin' it right now . lol, I remember the whole Solange thing. It was ridiculous how people were bad mouthing the poor girl. I found it interest in how a lot of them didn't even realize she had been natural for years. Anyway, she looks fierce. She's really starting to make a name for herself in the fashion scene. At least now people don't know her as "the other Knowles". Oh and by the way, here's links you might wanna check out for styling and caring for short hair >>> http://bglhonline.com/gallery-2/short-and-chic/ , http://bglhonline.com/ , and http://www.curlynikki.com/search/label/TWA%20Styles , http://cocoandcreme.com/tag/natural/ , |
Nope, I haven't hennaed it yet. I wanna buy the henna when I go to Little India and right now I don't feel like trekking all the way to Manhattan just to buy some henna. At the moment its the cold/laziness that's keeping me from going. I've been wanting to pick up some Chandrika Ayurvedic bath soap. Anyway, I'll wait till it grows a bit more before I try anything with henna or cassia. I'm soooo happy right now . I couldn't stop grinning when I saw myself in the mirror. |
