Martian: Obamacare is just a law( not a bill) that is intended to extend health coverage to uninsured americans who are unable to get it on their own. People can be covered under their parents' plans until they are 26, insurance companies can't trun you down if your have pre existing conditions, it creates healthcare exchanges where people can shop for insurance, and requires everyone to have health insurance by 2014. It also levies a few taxes on certain transactions and about a couple percentage increase in taxes for capital gains and some six figure earners.
