RomanceRe: Why Is It That Rich Guys Are Too Scared To Get Married? by intrepid: 8:18pm On Aug 04, 2011
I know very well, infact very sure you'll change the entire story in a few years from now.

But just ensure that you dont get frustrated like many men in the western world.

Marriage is not fetters, and you seem to have a twisted perception of what marriage is all about may be because of what guys and babes do here in naija and even what America and Europe show us.

Please let us recall that we are in Africa and someday money and freedom cannot save you from PROFOUND LONELINESS.Then you will actually understand without explanation, what it means to be lonely.
CelebritiesRe: Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Announce That They Are Splitting. by intrepid: 8:42pm On Jul 16, 2011
America and the West have no respect for marriage because most of them (especially these celebs) do not respect and even sometimes do not believe in the initiator of marriage-GOD.

This has always been and will ever be the story. The media makes money!

This also happens in Africa here, even in Nigeria but our culture and upbringing make us try to cover up everything while we are wriggling silently in the pain of a failed marriage.

Singing about love is not the same as loving.Academic knowledge of marriage is not a guarantee that urs will succeed.

May i warn all folks here that unless u look for the source of love and marriage and follow the rules outlined, you can also taste this bitter stuff.

And what is more---Jennifer Lopez,Mark Anthony and everyone on NL must understand (believe it or not) that GOD will judge everyone who disregards marriage.
RomanceRe: "love" Does Not Exist, Let's Stop This Delusion! by intrepid: 7:39pm On Jul 13, 2011
Please let someone tell me when love became a scientific subject that should be scientifically proven for it to be real.

I know there are scientists on NL.I wonder what that means. In fact i still cant understand.
PoliticsRe: Ngozi Really Lectured The Senators, Now Confirmed A Minister by intrepid: 9:19pm On Jul 06, 2011
I wonder what some folks here mean by 'over rated'.

How many of the women, infact men in that chamber including those who were fielding those questions can compete with her in terms of competence and a grasp of our problem in Nigeria.

I just wish that God will bless us with more ppl like her--though we have them, but I pray that they be allowed to come forth and not snuffed out or choked up before anyone can see them-of course by the powerful men in that place.

NG,please go on and put in the very best.PROUDLY NIGERIAN!

How u see am?
RomanceRe: Virginity Remains A Virtue After All Said And Done! by intrepid: 10:11pm On Jul 05, 2011
Its good, infact very well thought out topic that u dropped here.I believe this is to encourage, strengthen and correct what we all know about.

I also believe that the emphasis is on those who lost it via sex,and why we should all try to keep sex b4 marriage off limits. Its so funny that what the society(including folks on NL)smost times glorify are the same things that they will brazenly and hypocritically condemn in others who were attracted and lured into it by what the media and genral public seem to be saying:

we glorify extra marital and premarital affairs in newspapers,TV and music but when the youths get caught up in it we condemn them or,when some highly placed person tries it,the sky falls.

What do we call this?It happens in the western world and the media makes millions from such each time.

Virgins---real virgins including those who were violated, and those guys who do not meddles with their bodies in other forms of impurities are real HEROS.They are diamonds because they are really rare!Tose who were molested also are included because we have what is called SECONDARY
VIRGINITY.

To all the noble hearts who are in this category i say dont look back. You are the reall great men and women of our generation who can actually make meaningful sacrifice anywhere.Meet one anyday and see the experience yourself.
PoliticsRe: Four-year Term Short, Says Jonathan by intrepid: 9:07pm On May 28, 2011

CelebritiesRe: Advice For Nkem Owoh(osuofia). (no Offence) by intrepid: 8:48pm On May 28, 2011
Everyone is entitled to his opinion.

Osuofia is one of the names that make Nollywood what is is today.

Nollywood may not be as standard as those movies you think are better, but do not forget that they also started somewhere.

At the pace it moves now,i blieve we'll get there even faster than UK or America, when they did.

Do you doubt me?
CrimeRe: Stupid Nigerian-Kenyan Ambasador Beats His Wife by intrepid: 8:41pm On May 28, 2011
The woman is the brave one.

She has been there all the time enduring all the pains-alone until the heart could no longer contain it and broke down.

There should be no negotiations-no politiking or over-talk about the so-called ambassador;let him be called home immediately to answer to the people who sent him there. He should be sent home ASAP before he commits sth worse.
Christianity EtcRe: World Ends On Saturday? ('Judgement Day May 21') by intrepid: 12:32pm On May 19, 2011
Maybe it will end just as it ended the other year with some people selling off what belongings they got.Their own world ended.

some even died.I think its a very lucrative topic and some unscrupulous people are cashing on it to make money and cheap fame.

Please let us read what JESUS SAID ABOUT THIS IN:

Matthew chapter 24.

It settles this issue for thoose who want to learn.

Its really a very difficult situation for awoman who gave her heart to a man like that.

She's really hurting but to save herself from further heart break ,save her marriage and preserve the peace of those kids, keep herself too from the ever curious American paparazzis, she should endure and try to forgive.

Its really hard to forget.I must admit.

Beautiful,power-FULL days are coming.

A time when we can no longer have days without light.

Whatever the situation looks like now,i believe that there is sincerity in all that the govt is doing now just like what we saw in the just concluded elections.Good times on the way.

One of the xteristics of this govt is the apparent sincerity of intentions.
PoliticsRe: Buhari’s CPC Sues Jega, INEC by intrepid: 11:12am On May 10, 2011
Why should Buhari not allow peace to reign in this country?

Is he trying to tell us that he is the only one in Nigeria who can go to court? He has the money and the time to disturb our polity.

For once let the losers accept and assist others to move the country forward.
PoliticsRe: Ogboni To Make Up Rochas Okorocha Cabinets by intrepid: 11:02am On May 10, 2011
The man has not said anything about the composition of his cabinet and NL mouths are already wagging.

How can we know what he is going to do?How do you even know that he belongs to that fraternity-did he tell you?

I guess the important thing now for us is to wait until he constitutes his cabinet. If they do not return to using Imo citizens for rituals and other heinous things as happened in some states, then let it be.

However, evil never benefits any man.Let the Governor be,please.

Money isnt everyhing.Broken hearts,families,unfaithfulness,divorce etc,etc.

All these imported nonsense are contributory and aint there a way to put a stop to these crap!

CelebritiesRe: Dbanj To Marry Genny In August! by intrepid: 11:22pm On May 07, 2011
Marriage is not a home movie or stage stuff. I hope the two screen stars have come to understand this.I also hope that they know the diff btw real love and the one they preach in their songs. Its not about SCAPEGOAT or something. He has to be more than a scapegoat if this is going to work.

D'bang should know that now that if anything makes them to slip and fall, the same press and many of his fans will condemn him, likewise sister Genny.

May God help them to make it if this postulation is true.
ComputersRe: What Pisses You Off About Facebook? by intrepid: 8:33pm On May 07, 2011
The facebook craze or fever or even rush lately blew into Naija. Surely Mark Zukerberg did not envisage this kind of phenomenon. He meant it just from the Harvard students but eventually the thing got out of college and found much appeal among other folks outside the school. It also got down to Africa and finally Nigeria lately. Many Nigerians have been there but the rave got heated up recently, especially with the influx of mobile phone that can access the internet.

The media also helped to create this awareness. Facebook and indeed all the other social media sites (also known as web 2.0 sites) are very powerful tools if you can use them properly. Do you remember the 2008 presidential election in the US?A modest lawyer from Illinois garnered so big an election fund- few billion dollars and posed a colossal challenge for as seasoned a veteran as Senator John McCain.

Barack Obama knew the power of social media or web 2.0 sites especially facebook and manoeuvred it with classic élan. We all know the rest of the story.

However people use it or, whatever they do there now is not the owners’ problem as long as you do not attempt to take their cash in any way. Facebook makes an estimated $1.5million/week!

Do you have a calculator?

Those Nigerians you talk about help them to perform this feat in their own way, so no problems. Whatever they do there is not the issue. Fb keeps creating more features daily that will make their site not just attractive but addictive too, and many Nigerians are addicted to it like to cocaine. They spend so much money and time there without knowing that they can make a killing like many smart guys around the world are doing on that site. Facebook is a LEGAL money making machine if you know the secrets.

There are more than 600,000,000(six hundred million) active users of this site now. Out of this number about 3,000,000 are Nigerians. What amazes me is most of the people here do not actually know what they want or even how to use that site maximally. They do this not just on facebook but also, Tweeter (another big money machine).

Many people especially girls use it sometimes to upload the pics of their babies and husbands. Infact at a point some of my friends (school mates) who are now married had all their babies on fb. It was like a baby show or facebook baby fair. I almost thought it was some-unsaid-but-understood competition.

Many funny things happen there that sometimes are not worth the time but that site is great in another way. Infact fb is a very powerful weapon that can crank large chunks of cash into your account (100% LEGALLY) if you know the style and the rules.

There is an amazing mine of PURE GOLD on fb waiting for anybody who knows how to mine it. And you don’t do anything extraordinary, just the normal things you already always do on facebook. Check FACEBOOK GOLD here: www.fbkgold.webs.com

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram, Jos, Post-election Violence Suspects Disappear In Police Custody by intrepid: 2:40am On May 05, 2011
This is such a funny country where funny and weird things never stop happening.

Tell me:how many suspects (men and women )have the police ever arrested for complicity in all the thousands of conflicts in Naija?

since the inception of this democracy, hundreds of Nigerians have been most gruesomely killed and all we keep hearing in the news is that the government has set up a high powered investigation into the case and will bring the culprits to book. How many books?how many culprits have ever been brought to that book?

At most, some innocent poor laborers will be handcuffed and paraded before us on the screens while the real perpetrators are dining and wining at exotic resorts in the Caribbean.

How easy for suspects to disappear in Nigerian Police custody. We are not safe oo.But they cant get us lai lai

May God help us.
PoliticsRe: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by intrepid: 1:32am On May 05, 2011
Things are changing in Nigeria's political field and changing very fast too.

Its so interesting to watch;its even more interesting watching the incumbents drop off as though they could not use their powers again.

Truly that power seems to be coming to nothing or having very limited efficacy.

People who have nothing to show for the first opportunity given to them have no business trying to win another election. In Imo state, this is the case. The people have spoken with their votes that they want a change for better.

Ikedi Ohakim should vacate that seat and stop any antics bc it will not help him.Nigeria and the ppl of Imo state have left non-performers far behind. In fact we are gradually erasing them from our memory.

Imo ppl want Rochas and he will be the next gov.Yes he has to go to court to scuttle the PDP magic(free and fair rigging)from cutting short the sweet anticipation of the Heartlanders.

Owelle carry go.
Music/RadioRe: I Want To Be An Artiste by intrepid: 11:36pm On May 04, 2011
Hi Guy,

Its good you are looking for a way to express ur passion.

Try all you can to get it out,but know that a good voice alone does not make you an artist.

Try composing a song.It should not just be any crap but sth that comes out of inspiration.

Put it down on paper(the lyrics) and see how you can voice it.I also advice you see some experts in ur area.

Plz be encouraged. The only limitation u'l have is yourself. You can be the next music star! YESSS!

Looking foward to see ur CDs.

Whatevea description given to this or howevea we understand it,i guess we are moving in the right direction.

The only problem with this knd of policy in Naija is that it will create a lot of difficulties at first, and also before then Nigerian would have fine=tuned a thousand and one ways of beating the huddle and somehow reducing the impact o themselves and even rubbishing the entire stuff.

Yes we've got a lot of sane brains in this country and Sanusi is one of them.

Let this Dora and Ngige stuff raise no more dust here.

May we all join hands to keep Anambra up and forward.
NYSCRe: Petition To Withdraw Youth Corpers From Violent Northern Nigerian States. by intrepid: 8:32pm On May 01, 2011
NYSC should not be scraped but let everyone serve in his domain.Period.

I know that if this happens, then the whole aim of the stuff would have been defeated, but, how long will this senseless killing of intellectuals by a group of people who do not value good things continue in this country.I AM ALSO of the belief that nothing will make this this killing to stop soon.

Even if a new constitution is made and some other security measure set up,it will not stop it.Someone is yet going to die.Who will it be?

The gov should not only think about the NYSC but start considering the long awaited SNC.I think its time to come to a round table and have a sincere discussion abt this amalgam called NIGERIA.
PoliticsRe: Let's Keep Hope Alive - Dora Akunyili by intrepid: 8:18pm On May 01, 2011
Whether Dora lost or won this election, the indisputable fact remains abundantly clear that she is a rare gem not only in Nigeria or even Africa but in the world.Dora is a bundle of courage and intelligence and humility.

I know she would have made a name in that senate chambers within a short time- and many positive changes would have graced that place with Dora as a senator of the federal republic.

She is one character that we have in very short supply in this country. Its a pity that some ppl here are just letting their mouths or rather their hands to put down some wondering and misguided points here about this icon and gift to this country.Dora is a hero and i know that Nigeria will still get much from her despite everything.

Where were all our 'HONOURABLE'men during the late president's problem?Maybe we would still be waiting for him to come back from Saudi by now-or what do you think?

She is unstoppable and I believe she will come back for good.May God bless us with thousands of people like her.
PoliticsRe: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by intrepid: 1:25am On Apr 29, 2011
Let there be light once again in Imo state.

Let development move from microphones and scripts to the grassroots.

Let the ideal become real to the amazement of all doubters.

This has been the wish of all Imo people and God has come to save them.

Many things are going to change in Nigeria, following this level of understanding on the part of the electorate as their confidence in the the process garners weight.I see many surprising thing happening between now and April 2015.

Though this election is believed to be free and fair, the happenings in some states especially in the SE,SS and even some Northern states look like a stage play. The difference s that Nigerians in their goodhearted manner would rather take this after so many years(of no selection) than nothing at all.It is still better than what has been obtained in the past one decade.

It is well.
