Nobodys:I swear I'm liking you already. ![]() #simplyhonest |
beejay247:I followed up and got my money back. It was 50naira but you should know it's not just about the money. People called me a hungry man but who cares. I porbably can feed the generation of some of those people. Funny enough that was the last time I noticed their deductions. No be say I too dey check before self. |
EgunMogaji:Oga mi, I wan answer the guy before but as I see you, I just gentle. That's one of our problems in Nigeria o. MISDIAGNOSIS. then we begin copy solutions without even understanding our problems and the peculiarity of our situation. |
jaxxy:I was also thinking about that. In my mind I was like "even if water tanker falls and I'm around the area, n.a. other people go come gist me later because I no go wait". |
TrumpedL:It wasn't stationary. It was rolling backwards but you're quite right that the dashboard video does not corroborate this account of the incident. Another thing is that if he heard the explosion that close, he wouldn't be battling with burns alone. Again, I wonder if he is the same person in the 2 pictures. Leave them jare. Maybe he wants the free honey and fresh fruits that someone was offering to the victims of the mishap. ![]() |
LukeSkywalker78:Don't send or sell yourself into perpetual slavery because you want to impress some people. |
Bubu may be the greatest loser of this soccer match because now that Nigeria is out we will have more time for him and his APC |
dominique:It is mathematical jare. Go and check again. I think I admire the fact that this girl is almost always at peace with her stupidity. |
kallmemrB:Please don't even compare both of them. Aluwe has been relevant since the 70s. So go figure |
Cacawa2:He's a pastor. He's not as corrupt as other politicians. He will just collect the inconvenience allowance ![]() |
Please help me tell the guy that "if you found money and returned it because you hoped for a reward, YOU ARE A THIEF." You only returned for the fear of being caught. Like yoruba will say "oju lo ka e mo" |
GavelSlam:Is this sarcasm or What? Don't we all know that baba bubu has ear infection among other things ![]() |
OmoAdebi:Is it "Get well soon" or "Go well soon"? The only thing that will matter to me at that age is to go in peace with no discomfort and minimal disruption to my relatives lives |
Imole477:It's sad that some people have tribalized this matter. In my opinion, You actually weakened your case when you did not describe or mention the details of what caused the initial confrontation in your first post. I am not a lawyer or a judge but that is usually a pointer to someone trying to play the victims card. I won't mention other weak points in your story so that I don't sound rude. Having said the above, I will advice you to 1. take the matter to the office of the public defender at Alausa (www.opdlagos.org). While you are seeking public opinion, you can also ensure you are taking legal actions to make the landlord and his team answer for their actions. 2. Work with a lawyer to get your story straight and cover the loopholes. Focus on ensuring you have a water tight story and forget the need to get the other party in trouble and you will be surprised at how well things will turn out. All the best. |
What you tried to describe may be safe. The real danger to you and people around you is your English. You may choose to speak/write vernacular or use the time you spend to imagine sleeping with other people's spouses to work on developing yourself. |
I didn't see any mention of your own parents (or your people if your parents are not available) in your write up. Do they know that you are planning to get married? Are they aware of your partner's pregnancy and her parents' behaviour? I won't give any specific advise because I don't know the specifics of the situation from the side of your own family. However, I think the whole matter could be resolved in the twinkle of an eye if your own people/parents are involved. |
What a police force. They are always confused. Or how else do you explain the fact that the "fake news" was released today (18th May) and the response from police is dated 19th May (tomorrow)? |
ABIOLAXYZ:This release that do not even have the correct date |
okwabayi:Hahaha.... You can't even start to call us (nigerians) hypocrites because of this small one. My country that has over 90% of the population being either Christians or Muslims and yet breweries and distilleries are smiling to the bank with profits. Any small thing wey babe do, na so you go dey hear "olosho" upandan like say we no fit stand them (oloshos) but you will be surprised that the real oloshos hardly lack customers. We are not just hypocrites. Our hypocrisy is becoming highly hypocritical |
I don't know why people complain so much about building or suffering with boy/girl friend. According to most religious views, according to the law, according to most societies, the only time your combined efforts is recognized is when you get married. Anything you do before marriage is just a form of charity. Congratulations to her anyways for bouncing back |
Guestlander:Then I'll go for jungle justice a la carte. served hot and spicy in a sizzling plate |
cocaineaddict:That, my dear, is still injustice. It is probably worse than jungle justice as we know it. As bad as it sounds, I prefer to hear about jungle justice being perpetrated by unidentified mobs than to hear about extra judicial killings coming from people that are supposed to be custodians of the law. None of them is good but let's just pray that we get to the point where laws are enforced and justice eventually reign in this nation |
hardywaltz:This babe?? In your dreams abi na DPO's dream. This one na big fish o. If you see DPO near her side, I fit bet say na one oga at the top send the DPO to go and call her |
RadicallyBlunt:I think you have answered his question. |
biacan:That's what happens when we (guys) want to impress by force. I no dey impress anybody. Make babe answer him papa name. |
biacan:I agree with you, he's a disgrace but its not because he didnt pay that "stupidity fees" of 44k. He shouldn't have disappeared. He should have been bold to tell the girls what's up without running. Once they start ordering expensive things without checking with me first, I will just ask my so called date if she's paying. My money, my rules. |
First off, I don't think this story is real. The complaints and rantings are way too similar. Looks like it was written by the same person just for pranks. The day I sit down and watch a lady order food like this when I don't have the money or if it's out of my budget/plans make thunder fire me. (Please tell the thunder to warn me first sha... It can even do press up so that I'll know that it's coming) Seriously though, I don't know why I will not be able to tell a lady on a date with me that she's over-stretching my pocket. Call me broke if you like but it just doesn't work for me. If I want s.ex, I should know where to get it without killing my pocket. If I'm taking you out, it's because I like you and want to be your friend. So if there's no alignment in our philosophy about how responsible people should behave, I don't think there's any point being together. I won't take that kind of hungry or insensitive person to bed. You will be angry at me and probably call me names (and that won't bother me) but at least I won't be wasting money on a venture that won't go anywhere anyway. |
consultancy:Wait o..... Are you talking about my brother? He really wants to be a landlord o. A guy that said he finished HND but can not show us his certificate. I gave him money and an ultimatum to produce the certificate and he missed the ultimatum. The day I told him that I will lock him out of our parent's house he started begging me that I should not do that because he has always hoped to move into his own house and not a rented apartment. I just called my siblings and told them straight up that he may have a mental problem. A 40 years old, with no job or known profession, planning to move into his own house. Scary. OP.... some mother's do have them. Continue praying for him and show him tough love at some point. |
Painful thing is that this matter will not be handled as it's supposed to be. Most likely, the police will be involved, they will make as if they will sue somebody to court but eventually money will exchange hands. Some may even get to the family of the victims (maybe like 200k or less each). Then everyone will forget all about this. When will people like these victims get justice in Nigeria? Is it that we don't have tort laws in Nigeria or we don't have lawyers that are willing to take up cases like these? When will Nigeria have health and safety laws that will hold people like the owners of the billboard responsible for acts like these? May God help us. |
