What stops them from going to court like this if they have issues with any news about them in the media? Nothing, but no, they want a law that will muzzle people from talking even if they are wrong.

Fast forward till today, i was given another deal on Monday, i was told to come on Wednesday to do the job.That same Monday, i was told by some teachers there that there wasn't supposed to be any negotiation that i should be doing those things for free,that we are family,im not a real artist. Still, i was expected to come today and do the art stuff.I still came since the deal was still on and the boss hadn't actually said i wasn't recieving payment today.

I went there and guess what, the proprietress was with those two teachers that said those things to me on monday. She asked me why i came to visit, as if there was no deal today. They all just kept quiet and ignored me. I gathered courage and asked " how about the art job and the deal i was supposed to be paid for? " The proprietress just said there was nothing. They could have called me to tell me but no, it was sweeter to have me arrive, look like a beggar, ignore me and then tell me bye in high snobbish voices as i was leaving. Why did they humiliate me?

Can we just change the narrative of the last visit. What happens if you give them parting gift - artwork they expected you to beg to be paid for?

If you want, I'll pay for the artwork and you just give it to them as your parting gift. That way, you're able to have a different memory of your last time there as you enjoy the confusion on their faces when you tell them you're giving them something instead of begging for something. What do you think?

Mine was after working for 15 days, on the day am suppose to receive my salary, being on my birthday, getting to the gate, I was giving a sack letter and was not allowed to go inside the company, just like that, simply because I refuse to play the card..I cried like I lost someone, my pain was not only the money, but combining studies and working, yes I was schooling and working, morning am in the school, get home 3pm, leave for work 5pm, from work to school again the next morning, for 15 days I couldn't get enough sleep and it went just like that.... what would a poor girl do? Nothing, I got that job because I need to pay my fees, no appointment letter was given, who will fight for me? No one, I left it for God.

So where are you now and what are you doing?

All these stupid mob actions will stop when one of the victims develop enough liver ( or gets some good pro bono help) to really drag a few of the perpetrators and make them pay.

It's true o. Anytime I feel moved to assist anyone here, I check his/her few last posts. Sometimes I'll see the posts and just quietly waka pass.

1. someone had told you to tell her that you got some help from your ex-girlfriend and watch her reaction. I guess that will give you an insight into her mindset about having an ex help out financially. And maybe that's what she's doing.

2. What type of help us she getting from the ex? Is she hiding it? Is she asking for help about basic day to day living or is it about one off events?

It's ok to seek help once in a while (from whoever and in a transparent manner) but a woman that can not live within her (and her husband/partner's) means will expose herself to sexually inappropriate advances. Problem is that she may not always be able to overcome all the advances.

Following up on the recent update of the court summoning COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo concerning the rape allegation filed against him by Busola Dakolo, the court has issued out several orders to be carried out by the COZA Pastor.

According to the directives by the court, the statement read Busola Dakolo has requested for a letter of apology from Pastor Biodun which is to be published on the front page of two National newspapers and two National televisions for seven days running consecutively and a sum of 10M to be paid to her.

Does this imply that she has dropped the allegations against him?

OP, the bolded part of your post is total falsehood. stop misleading our gullible youths. You know they don't read and I doubt if you even read the documents you attached. It is titled "Writ of Summons" and it is just a document notifying the defendant (COZA pastor in this case) about the request(s) that the claimant (Busola) want the court to rule on.

Again, the document gives the defendant 14 days to respond or make appearances to defend himself not 7 days to pay up and publish apologies in national newspapers.

This is what push some young girls into marriage desperately, and they end up with men who maltreat them. If your ppa is a place that gives u time, I'll recommend you start learning a skill while u are doing ur NYSC, learning a skill now is the surest way to ensure you start earning money as soon as you finish your youth service.

My brother, if only you understand what it takes some parents to raise children and send them to school. I really, really thank God that I didn't have to labour financially to provide for my children and by the grace of God, I am praying that I won't have to depend on them in my old age. However, having raised a few kids myself, I can no longer call it entitlement mentality. Yes it is the parents responsibility to send their kids to school but if any parent had to go through extra hard conditions to send kids to school,, I will never be the one to think of them as having entitlement mentality if they are expecting returns on that investment.

The the invitation letter attached before your comment and you will see that they are not inviting them because of their report.

He didn't need to step down from his pastoral position before being charged with the offence. I'm not disputing the Dakolo's story but I think the legal action should have started from them if what they want is justice and not some "name, shame and destroy" type of revenge.

My advice is, if you want a good lawyer to win this case for you get Prof . Itse Sagay or Mike Ozekhome. You can't win with Falana

First off, I'm not a lawyer o, so this is my personal opinion and a layman's opinion at that. It may not be realistic (or feasible) to start a criminal case because of the statutory limit for a rape accusation. However I'm thinking they may be able to institute a civil case.
