Don't you have policies against sexual harassment in your office? Abi na the superior get the company? |
JasonScoolari:Good day for democracy? Its actually a sad day for democracy or whatever form of name we decide to call our kind of ill-governance. Why should a citizen have to choose between his personal comfort and the wellbeing of his community? Nothing screams FAILURE more than this narrative. Of course they don't care and they won't change. |
Lukgaf:Sorry o but I dont understand your point. Have they killed this one too? Is he not going to join your rev king on death row? |
This should happen in Nigeria too. |
I didn't even think/look twice before concluding it's her body part. You may be right though, but I'm never going to get close enough to check. O di kwa risky |
I think I'm confused with that term too even though I received consolidated salary for a little over 20 years. The only thing I never got was overtime. I had vacation allowance, annual rent support, car loan, 13th month, Christmas bonus, out of station allowance (if I spend the night outside my base), per diem if I travel outside the country. |
adekalumichael:Not really. You will be given a role but you can choose how you interprete your role. |
Confirm for the neighbour if this is true. At least the part where she said she ran away and slept in the neighbour's house. That's a good place to start. Don't wait for the father. Hopefully some NGO will pick up your story from nairaland or better still, contact one yourself. In the absence of any other option, you may have to report to the police. Problem is that they may not handle it well especially if the solution does not take the girl away from that house. By the way, please be careful to handle this story such that it doesn't not cause her embarrassment and discourage others in similar situations to come out and ask for help. |
SalamRushdie:I try to avoid politics as much as possible but the kind of brain installed on people fighting on behalf of politicians will never cease to amaze me. Someone actually thinks the president's suspension of the CJN should be compared to one CEO suspending the CEO of another entity. Hmmmmm |
Could this be true? Hmmmmm...... let me check the calendar if it's April 1st. Na lie jare https://www.google.com/amp/s/hoax-alert.leadstories.com/amp-3470131-fake-news-cia-issues-posthumous-apology-after-new-evidence-clears-osama-bin-laden-of-involvement-in.html |
snowxandria:See as you dey confuse yourself. The one wey yellow, you say she bleach. The one wey no bleach, you say she ugly. I tire for you o. The annoying thing be say you don dey influence my eyes..... e be like say the dark skin babe ugly true true o |
ORIENTATION101:That's the point. The guy no wan waste hin small change. He's spreading the risk by asking people to donate but the rewards will go to his family alone like someone rightly mentioned. He is begging for 36M.... How much has he committed into this venture? Does he not have enough friends that can raise that kind of Money? Deception upon deception. Gofundme ko, comeloanme ni |
SheikhMuniru:Why I go go school? School never reach my part of the world yet. Continue in your way jare. Don't mind me. |
SheikhMuniru:So fucking what People with human brain should please pardon my French. What if they are his family? Are they not somebody's family? Don't you have issues in your family? I bet they even came from a family that has more sense than you do. Making mockery of some other people's misfortune is something reasonable people stay away from. |
MsGood:I tell you... I was going to say the same thing. I think this woman is actually more beautiful without the make up. |
cronsberg:Not the way I eat mine. I hardly use all those syrupy stuff. Not even on my sub so it's easy for me to eat with little or no mess. |
Squashing a burger into your mouth in the public may be daunting. Eating it eith cutlery is also an overkill. Overstress self. so best thing with burger in public is to cut it in half with your knife then lift each half with your hand and enjoy your meal. Reminds me of my visit to my oga's house one day. His wife made us pancakes. I can't remember what I saw but I told my wife that I'm sure my oga is not used to all these pancake stuff o. I think it's also because I know he's old school. I have shared the same room with him at a work camp and I had travelled out with him. I know him small. My oga carry fork and knife to eat his pancake while myself and my wife decided to eat ours with our hands. Less than a minute later my oga dumped his cutlery and did justice to his pancakes. My point is that when people are not exposed enough, they tend to overdo the cutlery thing. |
I am not and will never be a fan of deceiving myself. I will always do what is best for me. If I can't be true to myself, how many other things will I do to please her and punish myself? Eat my rice without meat jare |
TheGreenLand:I swear.... that's why many people dey think say January long pass as e be. Dem go collect December salary by mid month and wait 6 weeks for the next salary by January ending. |
Auxtin85:They can not and will not jail his dead body but his death benefits, entitlements and last honours may be at stake. |
agbonkamen:Laff wan tear my belle o. ![]() |
Tfkspecial:Truth be told. How many of these students wear hijab outside the school or before this sudden desire of their parents to showcase Islam? God dey. |
phineas:From what I read on another forum, there has been meetings and the PTA led by a Muslim had rejected the idea. Some fundamentalist still want to push the idea. May God help us with this kind of mentality. |
iammo:Please where did you get this information from. Have you paid tax before and is that what you paid? |
Kenekingisback:Correct jare!!! You don't watch plenty crime TV series. If he died from that fire, the body posture would have indicated his struggling at the final moments. The body looks more like that he had died before someone set the fire. |
Smarty98:Bros, you're wicked o. Person write English like that you still dey ask whether he normal? Dem no need to tell person say this one don pass small thing. |
emmyN:He got his job through his in-laws so he needs wisdom and diplomacy to handle the situation. OP, in my opinion, you're not weak. What you need is wisdom to handle this situation and you need your wife on your side in this matter. There are two parties. Make sure it's you and your wife against your parents-in-law and not you against your wife and her family. 1. Work out some alternatives to this situation. What are you willing to concede and what are the things that are important to you in this discussion. 2. Use the framework of 1 above to develop at least 2 win/win alternatives. This means a solution that will give both parties some of what they want without anybody losing face. 3. Paint a realistic picture of the additional occupancy to your wife. Make it as realistically grim as possible without really putting your self or your interests into consideration. Ideally if you have gotten other things right with your family before this scenario, your wife's interests should overlap with yours considerably and that should give you a leverage. 4. Repeat step 1 with your wife and carefully guide her or carefully chip in your concerns. Once both of you agree on your concerns, work together to develop a win/win alternative similar to what you had in two or better. Finally, find a way of presenting this alternative to your wife's family in a humble and sensitive manner so that it doesn't look as if you're saying no to their request (don't call it demand). It's a long and complicated process and I have made lots of assumptions. One of my assumptions is that you have won your wife's trust before now and she believes in your leadership. Another one is that both of you are aligned financially. I have others but those 2 are key. I wish you all the best. |
This one na pikin wey dem no breastfeed. That's why her brain dey spark and misfire anyhow. Make her family quick intervene for her matter before she get worse o. |
How will this work? Nigeria has a lower tax rate than most of these developed countries. Ordinarily, I pay my tax in Nigeria (let's say 18%) and pay the difference in rates (35-18=17%) in the oza (other) country. Now that Nigeria wants to collect taxes on foreign income, will Nigeria collect another 18% after I have paid 35% in my country of abode (or source of the income) or what is their plan? I'm not a politician o. I just want information on the implementation. |
It's very bad when you insult your spouse (or even anyone). It's a terrible when you do it on record. It's indescribable when you do it on social media. |
why are black ladies always ugly
People with human brain should please pardon my French.
