With the benefits of foresight, I do not see this ending well. The precursor for a national uprising is being brewed. The continued hardship and frustration will drive the good, the bad and the ugly to the street. The rich who keep silent, thinking they are safe should take heed else they will be the first target of the uprising. the purge from ASO rock to the creek of Bayelsa will be total. Buhari!!!!, as the Indians will say, please do the needful or else you have the Nigerian version of Arab spring at the door. |
This is an indication how careless our Health Managers are? Imagine the unregulated amount of toxin Nigerians consume. The failure of Kidney, Liver and other diseases seems to be on the rise because our Food and Crop Inspectors are casual with their job. Plus given the required time to meet the EU export specification, no tangible plan was set out to achieve this. O God save us from those we entrust to secure our well being. |
jpphilips:The recent Yobe attack dude According to Terror Monitor, an organization which closely monitors and reports terrorists actions globally, Islamic State affiliate group Boko Haram has showed off arms, ammunition and other items captured after a recent attack on Kanamma town of Yobe State, north east Nigeria. According to reports, residents said the insurgents stormed the town on Monday night, shooting sporadically, before attacking the Divisional Police Station of the area and some shops in the town. According to them, the insurgents were on rampage in “search of food” and consumed beverages among other eatables in the shops. The Yobe State Commissioner of Police, Mr Chika Maidam, who confirmed the attack said the insurgents, who came in their numbers, attacked the Divisional Police Station of the area. He revealed that three of his men were injured during the raid but have been treated at the Geidam General Hospital and discharged. Compare this picture of what the Army recovered from BH and what the Boko Haram exhibited as what was taken from Nigeria. You will know that, the Army are still scratching their anus about the insurgency.

This by far the bravest stand the CAN has taken till date. A little leaven, leaveneth the whole dough. If you ignore something as minor as the multicultural and the secularity of our school and introduce the hijab just to prove a point, then the Christian girls should wear their church dresses to school as the English uniforms are not Christian paraphernalia. We should not be docile Christians, do not give up your freedom like this. Just yesterday I heard or rather read somewhere, a Nigerian was attacked in Kaduna for eating publicly. Just because they are fasting or in Ramandan meant all Nigerians with other beliefs should fast with them or hide while eating their food like what is obtainable in most Arab countries who they copy like fools. If we don't stop this madness, we will soon give up our rest of mind as some of our sons and daughters would be killed in states like Osun for demanding a student remove her Hijab if they are not comfortable with her or even touching it knowing that we (the Christian or pagan teachers) are Kafir and worthy of forceful conversion or death. Then they will dare to take your children, then forcefully convert them to Islam and tell you go to blazes as the parent for the Emir decision on your child's matter is more superior since she is now married as a moslem. Taaaaaaaahhh!!!! God forbid. CAN should uphold the struggle to be free and every well meaning Christian and Nigerian should support their course as it is them today, tomorrow might be your state or your school or kid's school. If I have my way other states in Nigeria that are predominantly Christian should declare Moses Law, and muslims residing in them should be judge by them if they do wrong until the states up North call off the Sharia Law installed during Obasanjo's, a third-term seeking coward, era. |
Pally pay an unscheduled visit. make sure you arrive at her place in the evening. Stay at any hotel and observe her movement discreetly. Or take a casual off and stay with her for the period. Observe the call situation from there. After then you will find for yourself the truth. |
koladebrainiac:Dude, that will not make the cost price for our project 3 times that in Ethiopia. Even if we lay the rail tracks with gold. However, from the earlier contributor who averred that the projects comes with the Badagry-CMS 54KM 10 Lane road, Over head bridges and the train route bridges over Lagos Lagoon. Even at that, the price is still unjustifiably high. We must begin to help ourselves to survive, as all this sort of stupidity is what makes other countries think they can come to our country and treat our people like scum. |
Brilliant write-up. Balanced, fair and hard where it needs to be. |
Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one, not even Buhari, wants to die. He is scared of dying else he would have stayed back home for treatment even if it is not available as an avowed man of integrity. A man with his words like steel. |
queenstl:The fool should ask for the remains of his great, great, grandfather if he cannot find it then His living existence is a fraud. Christ lives....that simple |
Enough of the semantics Mr. Femi Adesina. Nigerians are not all fools. Good grief, shut the Bleep up already!!!! Silence is golden here...don't you think? |
Femi Adesina is the new Lai M'med. |
Ben Bruce is not the C-in-C. The entreaty should be directed to the President. Has the President sought help or nominated people of credible standing to help it mediate in the crisis?...NO. Why would anyone want to offer help when you know it will be wasted on the alter of bias and political affiliation. Regards |
Fashola, GMB and the Managers of Nigerian Economy should start thinking outside the box. Stop hoping that the situation will improve. Implement the KING MOVE 101: Start the process of a nuclear power plant with everything you have got. It is not dependent on any part of the country hence cannot be disturbed. Nigeria is even rich in radioactive minerals. IN THE BOX: NEED TO NEGOTIATE AND REPAIR THE LINE ONLY FOR YOU TO BE HELD RANSOM AGAIN OUTSIDE THE BOX: FIND A RESOURCE SOURCE NOT DEPENDENT ON LOCATION LIKE RADIOACTIVE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT OR LARGE SOLAR/WIND POWER MIX SCALED DOWN TO EACH LOCAL GOVERNMENT. THIS IS THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM |
Unblockable:But Jona is no longer your president na? He is now a private citizen like you. Do Sahara report whn you come in and leave your house? |
“It is shameful and embarrassing that a retired military general could succumb to threat from militants despite what he told Nigerians that he was going to lead from the fronts,” read a statement issued on his behalf by Lere Olayinka, his special assistant on public communications and new media. Fayose.....omo this guy bad gan. GEJ was caricatured as lily livered, vilified and ousted on his inability to visit Sambisa and Chibok during the thick of BH crisis, now who is the chicken. Zombies over to you guys. I must repeat here, it is no cowardice to save the president against all hurt both domestic or foreign. If security brief gives the slightest clue that full protection cannot be guaranteed, then no need to risk the life of the president. Plus imagine the chaos that will ensue if the president were to be targeted, killed or incapacitated, not to mention the huge embarrassment such attack on the president will portend for Nigeria. APC and presidency on TKO by Fayose. No one saw this coming. |
kayodekb:Let your Allah and M'med (pbuh) fight their battles themselves. They fight better than you and get better results ....don't you agree? Is Allah not omnipotent as the Surah and hadith says? |
equal:John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. Jesus was the word spoken in John 1:1. and the Word was God meant Jesus is God. Ever seen a film told backwards, you are actually living in one for the end already has been determined from the beginning. Please can you answer me, what it means for God in the Quran, to ordained Jesus to come back and collect the saints, Why did God choose Jesus, why not Mohammed? |
The young Chief Justice is about to make a name for himself..... .....now this is a big twist in the storyline. |
All indices is negative. Sadly, the results are not manipulated now, as was the case prior the elections when the media colluded to help APC win the elections. The truth is bare just after 365days, that is how long it took to unmask the lies of the enigmatic PMB.The APC last hand, he has been dymystified by 365days performance indices displayed here for the world to see. We really don't like ourselves enough. It is time to press the STOP button and RESET the country. How, did you ask? They know how to reach people who can do this. |
Mehn, all the above combinations can be used to move on. I once had to break up with a girl who kept stalking my home and the places I used to hang out back when I used to be in 9ja. Letting go is hard for either parties. Guys never be in the situation where you are the one in love more than the girl, it is a very bad place to be, trust me. |
To not see the difference between where we are now and some 1 year before is the true definition of being a Lai Mohammed. To ignore that their was true prosperity in the last 6 years is to live in self-denial and to be a true APC zombie. Nigerians cannot remember the last cheering news from their FG since APC took over, for it has been one bad news to another like a Russian roulette. We all followed the presidential elections because the lighting situation was fair but today of all days, majority of Nigerians could not listen to less than 1hrs broadcast from the president they elected with high hopes of correcting the anomaly. What we have today is excuses and buck passing. |
What Nigerians should push for through our linguistic expert is for the inclusion of the world in English vocabulary as colloquial. With time it will gain traction and we will be used in contemporarily. At least over 150million people can recognize the meaning of the words listed here and it takes less that number for a word to be recognized. We have many things to learn in this country. |
truefact:Exactly the point. The Bill should not have even come to the National House in the first place. The states where Sharia had earlier been allowed should be reprimanded as this is corruption of the Law and deliberate violation of the 1999 constitution. The should be directed by the AGF to revert to the secularity of the law. To even bring to the house was to give this illegality a foot hold. They who sponsored the bill and those who voted yes should be published and shamed. |
When Jay Jay dropped his boots, no one has been found worthy enough to pick it up.... Initially he made a lot of mistakes while horning those skills, but once they came through was virtually unstoppable and can embarrass the most gifted opponent. His skills are just maddening, his play view wider than 365 degrees and positioning is breathtakingly precise. He realized late that football was big business as he played football for fun and passion. Still good. |
fiizznation:It will soon dawn on you that the Nigeria economy revolves round the Oil and Crude Oil from Niger Delta and that a stance like yours is what has led to this sorry state of things. Instead to condemn the neglect suffered by these people who cannot find drinking water something you take for granted by sinking a borehole in your back yard, talkless of cancer of the skin caused by over 50years of gas flaring. Please Buhari swallow your pride and ignore those who are pushing and urging you to failure by mandating a High priority Development Model, that will if not least make one of the states in the South South the Economic capital of Nigeria, this much is due for a region that has sacrificed so much for the survival of this country. In fact, the development of the Niger Delta is a must for posterity sake. |
OP is still a kid. You love your mum, who showed you love and all that. Without that Man, you will not be in this world. Without that Man being the "bad cop" and the mum playing the "good cop" you will not have sense of right from wrong. A fathers' job is not to be your friend and he is not in contest with anybody for your love, he is in custody of you to prepare a "person" adequately prepared to handle the affairs of life in the future. Only those who grew up without fathers will tell you what it feels like and you should pick up the phone and call your father and apologized as you do hope to be a dad someday. |
As usual, a system to impoverish the already battered Nigerians is being cooked up. Why install the speed limiting devices to the car, why not install radar systems on the road? And how dare them fix a cost to be borne by the masses, since this is at their instance, it should be installed free of charge. This system has proven to fail in most cases resulting in fatality and therefore not totally reliable plus it is prone to manipulation by skilled car re-wires. Firstly, install a simple devices on the glasses of all cars, this will be given free along side the Vehicle particulars renewal licence at no extra cost. Radar system installed in areas where the probability of over-speeding are more, plus all strategic points where speed needs to be monitored. The devices senses the speed of the car via the unique glass stickers and transmit violations to the FRSC control/Monitoring Centre. This will in turn raise an alert of violation to the registered mobile of the car owner. If any car passes the radar system, but no reading is obtained, a picture of the plate number is taken and sent also to the Control centre where a harsh fine is generated and sent to the registered mobile of the owner of the car with a possible jail term for tempering of federal device. This bill is cleared during vehicle renewal processes and no harassment should be allowed whatsoever on the road by FRSC officers on motorist . This is how to implement ideas, not the ones that impale the people consciousness, finances and introduce additional burden on the already overburdened citizenry. This is COMMON SENSE APPROACH TO SOCIAL ENGINEERING PROBLEMS IN MEGA CITIES WORLDWIDE |
Let me see any southern president that will appoint any Northerner....my God will punish him and his generation. And if any Northerner cry foul them for any other part of the country taking all the position. They should remember the 95/5 per cent rule and precedence being set by their father now. And if you excuse this behavior for lame excuse of meritocracy then I don't know which is worse....your idiocy which stinks to high heavens or ur stupidity that makes you not to see that in your own home their is one graduate who is qualified for that post also. |
In Phyno's voice.... Lekwa wa...wa cho e ri the fine girl......ndi ara. Don't touch it....na Jesus pikin. |
TPAND: I feel the groans of Prof. David Tam West. He is really disappointed at the state of the petroleum industry. I agree with David Tam West, If government cannot do enough to checkmate smuggling Petroluem products across the border, then the Government itself has failed. I once said it, Kaichukwu is on internship so epic but so true especially I once said it, Kaichukwu is on internship especially since he is coming from an organized private sector and not used to the chaos and double-speak in government. |
