Depends If I have prior experience I would go for the contract staff knowing that I can still get another better job after the two years due to my experiences. However, if I'm a fresher, I would go for the full staff, and learn the rudiments of the career in a sustainable environment But first I will ask about the severance package for a full staff |
Wonderful people in Nigeria Congrats |
Pay somebody to handle the exams for you if possible, if not you may have to defer your year of study at least for a year, by that time you would know how far over there whether to come back or stay and start school again there. But by all means, if you are going for something productive, go |

The most difficult part of a IT Support Tech is when you realize that your job is more about deciphering broken grammar than troubleshooting |
It is only in the North that I see extreme poverty as in nothing to eat and nothing to do. That is where it is fact. But down south, even in the villages, you see people more concern about recharge cards, planning for ceremony, buying house property than hopelessly having nothing to eat and nothing to do. Here it is fiction. |
Nice read, it's really not a very pleasant experience for some, personally I would rather wait for the doctor to bring me the news than seeing how it happened |
Just in case |
kenny1st: I have carefully reviewed everyone's comment in this regard and i am of the opinion that majority of replies i got are people who support jonathan government and i dont havr problem with that. Where i am comcern is that some Nigerians are so used to sufferness that when they taste a bit of temporal comfort they think or believe its all well... Just as if i knew it, i was listening to news today and heard that Ghana is set to supply My COUNTRY power .Lol, it didn't go as you planned, sorry dear, some people just don't have that deep seated hatred that blinds them to improvements around them. You even acknowledged the temporary comfort that President Jonathan is bringing us, let's pray it is sustained and improve upon. As for Ghana supplying power, you should know that Lagos alone consumes more electricity than the whole of Ghana so if they are generating excess that they cannot use due to the relatively low economic activities compared to Nigeria then, we would gladly buy it. For the records, Nigeria currently generates more electricity than Ghana but demand is much higher |
Awwal1st: Ask Google for it... You will see the meaning and what its use for....I didn't see anything about it that can enhance my productivity so I thought you might tell me since it was only you that mentioned it as an advantage |

Exponental: I think so too. I'm back to my nokia C3. Android subscription is not worth it. Free 15mb from etisalat lasts me for like a week (without any download), but for android, 15mb is not worth an hour for same purpose. After getting my tablet, I had to configure my Android to work like my precious Symbian (low data consumption and longer battery life) I installed Greenify (to kill those stubborn background running app) , System app mover (to make carry come apps appear in greenify so that I kill them) , Droidwall (to control who goes online) and no live wallpaper . With these I could use my 15mb to chat or browse (opera mini, Whatsapp only and no Facebook app running ) for a week while the heavy downloads are handled by the tab and the battery last longer |
Awwal1st: You sabi install custom ROM on it?...What do they use custom ROM for? |
My 5' phone got a bit too small for browsing so I got me a 8' tablet for bigger display and it saved me from the inconvenience of plugging in a modem anytime I need a bigger screen to browse or read through my research work and the battery last longer while the fone is just for chats and some in-transit browsing |
ShirelleBaby: hahahahaha, the pix is funny definitely not ur story--u shud have just pasted the pix with a smiley rather than add a silly tale to it-The silly tale just spoil the joke. nansence |

I'm starting to reason that Abubakar Shekau is just like our rested Gbomo Jomo. Boko Haram is beyond Shekau |
Which of them is Gomez? |
amaprincess: One thing i like about this section is, there are so many matured minds here.Matured minds ke, too late, it is already on the front page so the floor is open for all One thing I have observed in Nigeria is that divorce cases are mostly from celebrity and over rich peeps who obviously married for the wrong reasons. From my dealing around me, I can't count up to 3 divorces for every 100 married people though sadly most preferred to remain in the marriage in spite of disappointments than divorce. However, I don't see marriage are just two different people of different background stuck with each other for forever rather the motto that denotes a successful marriage is, 'PARTNERSHIP THAT WORKS'. Being afraid of marriage just because you fear being stuck up with a different fellow from a different background is like saying you would not do business with anyone cos they are from a different background. ^^^don't mind the guy above me, we took crack together this afternoon, but obviously he has outdone himself this time. He was even the one that pointed this topic to me |
Some people are just naturally kinda trendy, they contribute only because others are there. I prefer to look for interesting topics to contribute and learn or for useless ones to show them that I craze pass dem |
Kayraph: I believe that they want to come and find out how we beat the Ebola trap they set for using Sawyer as a weaponised carrier of the deadly virus. I would recommend that our government do not give them permission to enter the country. That was my doubt too, I believe the Americans thought they have perfected the virus but the high survival rate in Nigeria really got them thinking, they want to come and collect blood samples to use and strengthen the virus for next deployment |
Oahray: well said. @ siggyAll men must die but those who fought valiantly, nobly and honourably will be remembered - Ser ITbomb |
PrettyClare7: please what is IT?It is an appellation which connotes the phenomenon of the vigorous phallus in a coitus agadoj in an almost vertical pistonic trajectory navigating the arroyo of opposite pairs of the same species. Do you need further explanation or a demonstration? |
We need most importantly a viable steel industry and plastics / rubber industry. Most car manufacturers rely on other small companies as none produce all the components by themselves |
In other news, the new NFF President has a different opinion on Keshi www.nairaland.com/1929552/new-nff-president-vs-stephen |
Aitee1: Like seriously??For people like me that reads beyond the headlines, Facebook provides the full article not some two liner that has been bend by poster to blend with his prejudice. Ok, unless you mean all those celebrity junk news bits Vanguard on Twitter can never be as rich as Vanguard on Facebook |
So, what is Flashshare and Xender doing huh? |
tempem: That spot is my turn off.....if it's for a while I'll never settle for less.. She's like every other runz girls then. But guy you are something..I would advise you then, if you can't bear the truth then don't ask her, I have seen innocent looking angels with dirty things in their closet. I have seen a lot before I came to that conclusion. Believe me, it is bad out there |
Desperados, haha hahaha No worry too much Asari is back to the creeks, planning for any eventualities arising from next year elections |
