This premise is not based on any law or commandment to be punished if broken.
The rules of ceremonial uncleanness has it that if anyone did any of these , he/she is unclean until the sun goes down. Mind u there is no punishment and it does not differentiate between married and unmarried .
So for u to offer ur sacrifice of praise or offering to God in church on any day not just Sabbath or Sunday , u have to preserve urself clean.
