Coordinated sting operation. Stolen oil has to be moved. So the moment you see an alert you start monitoring the area. An oil vessel is not easy to hide.

It is because everybody's hand dey. Nnpc community, task force, navy.

How vessel go connect to pipe for over five or more hours and no one will see it?

If there is a report and everyone attached to the location is sanctioned people will sit up sharp
That's what I'm trying to point out that even if they knew, with the connivance of the armed forces who escort stolen oil, NNPCs hands were tied.

If you can't beat them, I guess you join them. That's the way I see it.

Did you watch the channels news then to hear what nnpc was saying.
Unless you are saying like I am saying that nnpc is/was lying.

Remember how a super tanker sailed into our waters, loaded crude and sailed away till a navy ship raised alarm😁 and everybody claimed they didn't know how or when the tanker came in and was filled with crude.

Lol..

The level of oil theft in Buhari's tenure.. God abeg😩
You mean NNPC denied on TV they never knew? I will be very surprised because I watched an interview of Kyari with Seun at the time admitting they have always known.

Will look for the interview and share.

As for Buhari, the less said about him the better. You will never find a man so disinterested in the affairs of the Nation he presides over.

But they didn't shut it down till last year.
The same last year that discoveries suddenly started😁.

Forget nnpc knew very well what was happening.
If you tap oil from a live pipeline, the pressure will drop immediately and you'll know.

Oil theft is something buhari did on a scale different from what nay democratic leader did.

From the very source😌
NNPC has been shutting down a lot of pipelines as far back as 2015. Usually when refined petroleum lands, what NNPC used to do was send them through pipelines to their various depot in several states.

When vandalism became a thing, the pipelines were shutdown, tank firms were introduced to receive the products and distribute through tankers across the country.

So to imply NNPC is pretending not to know is very wrong. They knew, everyone knew, it's not hidden.

Yup.
If I remember last year when they started their Hollywood kini.

That they even needed to employ tompolo to discover more tappings😂😂
No, they have always known. It is not hidden . It was the Buhari govt that finally woke up to its responsibilities.

The modus operandi of most federal govt organizations is to report the problem and fold their hands. Nothing we can do. We have made our excuses let's move on. This cannot be solved.

Hopefully this will become unacceptable for the next 8 years and hopefully institutionalized
But in this particular instance, what can NNPC possibly do apart from what they did shutting down most of the pipelines and using farm tanks instead?

Lmao this is another one nnpc should be made to answer for their crimes.

There's no where in the world with pipe monitoring equipment that they will claim for 7yrs they didn't know and only started discovering in the last year (2022) of Buhari's presidency.

Lmao these guys did hot tapping for years but na last year them finally shut am down to act film with channels tv😂😂
Did NNPC ever claim they didn't know?

So you agree there's no enough jobs to go round but your conclusion is everyone should not go to school which we also know that is why we have the likes of MC.
the question is those that will take the loan after graduating and there is no job how will they repay it
In nigeria we have those who have first class and end up taking menial jobs, does that mean school is not for him
They don't have to go into paid employment to repay the loan

During my NYSC, I begged a man who does structured cabling for LANs, CCTV cameras, Intercoms, Router, Switches and Access point installations to allow me follow him to work. I learnt from him and was making money from it before I even finished my NYSC. As a matter of fact, the skills I picked up at the time still fetches me money till this day and was very instrumental in getting me my first job when I switched to paid employment.

I did not sit down waiting for the government to give me a job and I am sure many of us have similar stories to share.

No, it's not.

Tertiary Education is already been heavily subsidised. What are the loans suppose to achieve?

Unless Tinubu has the intention to stop tertiary education subsidy.
You do know there are hundreds of thousands of people whose parents never sponsor them beyond secondary school?

What the bill does is enable those who want to further their education do so even if their parents cannot afford to sponsor them.

When I see some of these criticisms, I just know it's coming from you guys are so far from the reality of an average Nigerian.

The student loan bill is highly commendable. Anyone who argues otherwise as far as I'm concerned is an enemy of the people.

Why? People turn off things they are not using and if the money finishes they rest till they can afford to recharge. It's a million times better than estimated billing.

You see in your last line, you are the one that inputted court into the statement, the exact words he used was "unnecessary illegal order".

Moreover the statement said "unnecessary things illegal order will no longer be tolerated". You yourself said the judiciary has its process of disciplining erring judges, what makes you assume that is not the process the "not tolerated" means?

If you say the statement is a threat, threat to who? Chief judge or who?
The first paragraph of the statement said something about vibrant judiciary. The concluding part where you have the order statement follows from there. It wasn't me who inputed court into the statement. It was implied from the first paragraph

How can a court issue an order to truncate democracy? The statement was made in full and didn't stop at unnecessary illegal orders.

Why are you acting as if the other part of the statement does not exist?
One, who determines that the order is illegal and that it truncates democracy? Me, you, the government or the court itself?

The court has its own laid down process and procedure of challenging court outcomes if the aggrieved party is not satisfied. If you feel the court has issued an order that truncates democracy, allow the court of higher jurisdiction to reverse it. You can also approach the NJC to lay down your grievances

Two, even if we agree that the court issues illegal court order that truncates democracy, is the statement a threat or not?

How is it a threat

Haven't we seen court throwing out frivolous court cases and slamming them with fines
A court of competent jurisdiction issues a court order, the government is claiming it's illegal and will put an end to it

That's the exact definition of a threat.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 12:40pm On Jun 12, 2023

Is this a threat?

“It is about the rule of law and vibrant judiciary that can be trusted to deliver justice and strengthen institutions. It has become imperative to state here that the unnecessary illegal orders used to truncate or abridge democracy will no longer be tolerated.

“The recent harmonisation of the retirement age for judicial officers is meant to strengthen the rule of law, which is a critical pillar of democracy. The reform has just started,” he said.
Sounds like a threat to me. Who determines that the orders are illegal? Tinubu?

The irony is that his government also used the same court order to the silence NLC.

This is reality everywhere and it's not unique to Nigeria

we should stop putting down our -dear- country for something that happens -almost- everywhere else just because we want to make the county appear worse than it already is
I've seen it happen to pure water, agri business, POS, bet shops, ehailing and several other businesses too numerous to mention. If it also happens in other countries, I can't speak to that. I was talking about the reality I've experienced as an everyday Nigerian.

It's very irritating now.

We all know this is what Nigerians are know for. No originality. Just copy another person's idea and run with it. But this one now is irritating.

Look at every streets ...na so so provision shops full am.

Even in music. Asake music have been copied from the style ..down to his voice. Seyi vibes is the major culprit. Too fake for my liking. Even this recent Ckay feat blaqbones, you will thinks it's asake song until you see the names.

Tufia.
No be today. Once the barrier of entry is low, trust Nigerians to flood it. I was going to learn data analysis when it was making the waves but stopped when I realized any idiot can learn it in 6 months or even less. Now there are more data analysts than jobs in Nigeria and of course, they offer them shitty pay.
