I do not expect anything less from an old man.
Buhari is just fulfilling his life time ambition of being president.
So far he has achieved that and he's is OK. But because of the APC who cannot or don't want to lose the top job he is compelled to play on.
Let's continue to use our future as compensation for people who have nothing to offer.

I think we could do well with a president who has not held a political office before.

I once had an experience with a friend and a girl he as dating. Pretty cute girl, my friend was no late nighty, so we would go out to a pub or club early after work, but when ever we go out she would dress in long traditional dress and carry a veil to cover her head like the Arabs do. Then she would also be itching we leave the place about 8pm to 9pm. This was wiered to me and I was always suspicious until I saw her one night at a club with a group of her friends dressed in the skimpiest dressing you can imagine.

Yele should contest for Senate 2019, he has like 70% chance of winning that and build up from there, that way we would have tested him and see if we can send him to higher office or not
Same with Fela, Oyo state governorship seat is vacant 2019, he's garnered enuf popularity to give it try
Same goes for many of those young ambitious guys. They all can even come together and form a political party and run for various offices first, so by 2023, the coast would have definitely become clearer

Our political system is messed up just like everything else is. We simply do not have the human resources for good governance is politics. Just a few at the finger tips, not enough to make a change. We are still glamouring for PMB to have all of his qualified tenure, we are still using politics as a forum for compensation of some individuals. Too bad too sad.
