rusher14:That guy is irritating or could even be mentally challenged. When one of his handles gets sullied with so many lies, he switches to another. |
BlackSpanner:Don't be gullible. |
Badb0y4lyf:Just say the government is not serious with the lockdown. Do you think they pick food from the street or food fall down from the sky when people go out? I actually think there should never have been lockdown in the first place, not because it can't work but for the fact that the government is just playing to the gallery. The purpose of lockdown has been defeated when people are freely mixing under the so-called lockdown on the first day. If not for criticism, the government wouldn't even be testing people. They would rather do nothing. What's the point of crashing our economy if the lockdown won't be enforced? I think they should just call off the charade. |
Jobless and senseless criminals. Other market women will stop opening shops to avoid the same fate. This will further cause more hikes in price. Foolish people always engage in self-sabotage |
sapientia:Not really. The lunatic, like most cult leaders, knows the game he is playing. He knows he will soon run out of steam if he is always on the wrong side. He throws the outrageous bone to his extremist supporters to chew on while on occasion persuade the moderate to reconsider their view of him. |
Eriggs:He is doing his job. He is a media guy. Would it make sense if someone said "all for the shop" or "all for the office" in response to your business growth efforts? |
IamMichael:You are veering into strawman argument. The lunatics, in this case, are those who want to overthrow the government via revolution. There is nothing to be misunderstood about their aim. Those madmen revolutionized nothing but madness. There is a reason why you can know the name of Pharaos who ruled 2 Millenials ago but not the name of the most skilled and "fearless" swordsman. Every single successful revolution has been led by men who can think. When people follow madmen, the end result is as predictable as daylight, it is utter destruction. Madmen may be used as expendables but when the dust settles, the restrained smarts end up in charge while the unhinged lunatics are either sidelined, perished or brutally put down because nobody trusts them to think right. Of course, lying that you can fly at that time means you are a lunatic or a scammer. A better way to prove your case to your tribesmen is to actually fly. Since those same people believed that witches fly at night, it wouldn't be hard to accept that you can also fly. Talk is cheap, it will be better if you collaborate with other madmen and storm a military base who knows you might revolutionize the country. After all, you are not a coward like other people. |
Roon9:How can you be leaning with conspiracy theorists when you are one yourself? You are even one of those sabotaging our national grid because you want to sell solar panels. |
Massive testing is needed but we have limited kits. |
Mpanyi: helinues:Benue does not test for the disease NCDC does. And to Mpanyi, the temperature is not a confirmatory test for the disease. Just because someone says they don't have a disease doesn't mean they are telling the truth. I hope you don't take people's word on disease status e.g HIV. The woman is a public health danger and should be prosecuted after her isolation period. I am even surprised they are begging her to move. Well, she is lucky she is in Benue, I trust Lagos hospitals to treat potential carriers like a leper. The only sympathy I have for her is Ortom publicly releasing her name. |
They should deport her! |
ipobarethieves:Only Elrufai, Makinde, and Bauchi governor are currently positive. I usually laugh when I see people talk about looting. Many governors award contracts that are never executed why do they need to pretend that they are positive to loot? It is actually a bad thing for a governor to be positive. Some may have even lied about being negative as they freely interacted with Abba Kyari. |
Excuzeme:How would he know he woke up on Wednesday when his phone is dead? Humans don't have biological time backup battery installed. If you have ever slept for an extended period of time, you will understand my point better. If he was indeed correct that he slept for exactly 3 days, then there is a high probability that he was not sedated. I believe medical tests can reveal when he last ate and whether he had been sleeping for 72 hours. |
Angelfrost:Love? ![]() |
softwerk:Shut up! |
Joefat:They are not evacuating. Read! |
Investnow2017:There is always a solution but how many lives will be sacrificed before stability is achieved is the main concern. There is currently a viewpoint gaining ground in the US where they will allow the sick and the elderly to die in order to save their economy. I see this happening if the virus spread does not abate sooner given the man in the white house. Some other countries may then follow the same route. |
ImadeUReadThis:Bill gate has nothing to do with this. He doesn't have a vaccine for testing. If you have been following the news, you will realize that most countries reaction is to do nothing or do little. That has nothing to do with non-existent vaccines. Remember the Ebola outbreak? The US was actually hiding the potential vaccine and will not share it. You are probably confusing regular paid pharmaceutical testing in normal time with emergency case where a vaccine can be a game-changer economically. If a working vaccine is developed today, Trump will keep it for US only until all their cases are resolved. |
What a useless government. They should have been quarantined for 14 days. I expect NNPC GMD to test positive in a week or two due to this foolishness. |
Exmilitant:He is just a collector and transporter. |
Eriggs:Wife : Self defense, community service Husband : innocent, no crime committed Happiness the Prostitute : Burial. True case |
SharpJoe:You are right. But the total testing kit we have in Nigeria cannot cover a local government's population. We lost our advantage when we freely allowed potential carriers to go home. Right now, we will need hundreds of thousands of testing kits to cover majority of the exposed people. 4,370 first contacts are said to be missing. Who knows the number of people they may have infected? We can't sustain lockdown for long but neither are we massively importing test kits. |
Investnow2017:It is not really a positive if you look at the cascading effect. Price drop if it happens can only be temporary to clear already stocked merchandise. This is because we import most of our consumed goods. If there is very low oil price, there will be little dollar for import and the forced devaluation will cause the price of basic items to shoot through the roof. |
Totilopussylick:Yes sir. Those that have it usually wear an ID to show that they do. |
Bevista:Just because a white old man posts a video on YouTube doesn't make it true. Mere looking at that man shows that he is sick. Stop being gullible! |
Fake news. If it really happened, the giant will be below 6 ft by now. No single man can fight the government. |
will be carrying the campaign of "safe water for Africa" across nations in the African continentI hope African governments are not dumb as to allow him freely spread Coronavirus around. He should sit it in his country, Switzerland, we don't want more carriers! |
Tayeni:You will likely eat sand if oil becomes less relevant. Overnight societal and economic changes are always catastrophic, no exception. No oil money, no economy in Nigeria and plenty chaos. |
Throwback:Not exactly. If it can't be stopped, life will return back to "normal" and the vulnerable will be segregated or sacrificed. The stupid FG failed to act on time. Now, most state governors are still taking it at a joke. Even if Lagos successfully bend the curve won't new cases be imported from other states. Ogun state governor is even giving people 5 more days to further spread the disease when he had more than 1 month to prepare for this emergency. |
IamMichael:Unfortunately for you, lunatics did not lead those revolutions you refer to. And they happen in a less sophisticated society. It is only in Nigeria that madmen are revered for spewing inanities. In saner climes, they are confined to mental institutions. Some even worship madmen for their wisdom. Before you reply, ask Syrian rebels how far. This is despite the rebels having foreign US and Turkish support. |
Bekool:Total breakdown by who, Mushin cultists? Even Boko haram suicide bomber don't waste their lives for anything. You are free to join them though. A man can only die once as they say. |
