The CDC was previously keeping count until Trump got mad at them. This is no secret for informed people.

Now, no news media bothers with the CDC report again, they are now relying on private organizations and
individual state figures.

Even if the explosion in Lagos was actually a bombing as some people desperately want us to believe, why is nobody or group claiming responsibility for it ? In a conventional war you don't just drop bombs from the sky and claim you have defeated or taken over your enemy's territories; you have to put boots on the ground to claim victory. So whoever or whatever groups that may be behind this should be courageous enough to declare war against us please.

The organization that released this data is John Hopkins, a private institution
who had to go through a lot of pains to get it.

The CDC is the US government institution and the Trump administration has
warned them to not make him look bad.

The real number is massively underreported.

First, the US has miscategorized some causes of death as pneumonia/common flu.
Second, it is the number of death to recover that matters, not the number of death to tested.

Many of Italy and Spains death are from those who were tested several weeks ago and who has been
battling the disease. The disease hardly causes instant death.

We will know if the US has been doing something right(no evidence for this unless they are hiding it) in 3 to 5 weeks time.

The numbers shared here are estimates as the CDC has stopped tracking.

Each state are sharing their data based on the discretion of the governor and
we know that Trump-loving states are going to manipulate figures to make him look good.
