Aonkuuse: I came acrose this heartbreaking hypocrisy of the west and could not help it but to share....
This man was shot dead while preaching in the states and there is no single public uproar or any single news outlet carrying it.... But imagine it happened in Nigeria, the states would have said Nigeria is this and Nigeria is that.... They would have even gone ahead to place visa restrictions and all sort of things.
The west really need to stop looking at others as bad while they are doing the worst things. First, this news item is irrelevant, no major news agency will feature it. How is a preacher shot dead a big deal? If 50 preachers are shot dead, then that is something worth discussing. The west don't care about you unless it is a major disaster, it involves government or your country happen to be involved in international power play. I can't remember the last time I came across any special news about Nigeria(good or bad) on front pages of foreign website. You literally have to dig deep into African section to see such. Whenever you see a popular report about happenings in your country, it is the Nigerian NGO owners that are behind it. They need to report dire situations in order to attract funding. |

That is what you get with liberal politics of accepting illegal immigrants unconditionally. The migrants didn't bother staying back in Russia because Russia don't tale nonsense from anybody. Finland should stop complaining. |

oluwasunkanmi97: Okay, Well...
But looking at the map, what makes Taraba to not be in the same geopolitical region as the other central states to make it a completely central region ?
And they should be called central not north-central and south-south should be called south. What kind of cardinal points are south-south and north-central ? Drop your high school logic. There is South-South, North-East and South West the same way there is North, East, West and South. Those geographical designations were created and developed by humans for humans, they are not a product of immutable law of nature. |

Their was a time they mobile phones were not essential and basic needs...
Today even market women can't do without mobile phones.. A 10 year old knows that phones are not important for survival. An adult who thinks people can't live without it is delusional. Also, if anybody is going brag about phones, it should be the inventors/manufacturers and not one of the numerous retail shop operator. |

If you are going to engage in bigotry, at least be logical. Any business that did not exist in area is not needed for survival. This shouldn't be too hard even for a 10 year old to grasp. |

Watcharena: There has been more than 50 rockets and missiles attack on US troops across middle east in just 30 days since the begging of the war Rockets fired by proxy rebels and failed state elements. If that is what being hit hard means, then it is all joke and I believe Iran. To really hit the US hard, Iran will need a kind of 9/11 or pearl harbour or destruction of a US carrier. That is when I will take it serious. |

FreeStuffsNG: Not even the Americans will be so naive to ignore threats from Iran If you know the huge cost it took US to make this decision you will know that the issue is serious. Iran has nuclear capabilities and in bed with the Russians. All this kitikata US is running up and down will not deter Iran. The war has gone beyond Gaza and Israel. Many people don't understand the US. The US does not take prisoners when it comes to being attacked first. All the political players will close rank, forget their differences temporarily and vote for a disproportionate retaliation. Japan learn the hard way after the WW II pearl harbour, so did the Taliban who merely accommodated Osama of 9/11. If Iran were to directly attack the US, It won't matter if Iran has the largest stockpile of nukes in the world, Iranian government will be destroyed at any cost. |

eazzzy1: You hardly see a Yoruba woman who’s a feminist. One of the pillars of the culture is respect for elders, and since most women are married to men older than them the respect naturally follows.
So if a Yoruba woman is disrespectful to her husband it’s because she doesn’t want to be married to him, it’s never a case of wanting to be equals. There is a difference between respect and worship. |
