Put your faith on! Mr Canuck. Let's support them with one of the greatest powers on earth: Faith. |
Hi Pips, Time to use the power of faith. I am predicting 3:1 for Nigeria because I am tired of African teams being beaten by every team in this world cup and making Africans look like we cannot stand up for ourselves against the other worlds. Nigerians are one African people I know that stand up against others when all around them are falling down and for that I see us putting up a great performance tomorrow. Only positive people are wanted to comment here, negative comments are not welcome. Go ahead make your predictions. |
@ Ejekwe Alright Baby, sorry about that. "Past" remain where you are, "future" come here now. Hope you are happy now. Cheers |
But Canuck abeg watch that you tube video again and you will see that he was only frustrated at not getting that ball and forgot that he was before the whole world at that moment. It was like he was saying " Kai menini this oyingbo boy,--------k-p-u-c-h-u-u-a-a-a get out of here walahi why you no allow me get this ball kwanu"-----abi I lie. Abeg Kaita is a very patriotic Nigerian and for that I am tripping for him right now. Kaita sweetheart----where are you? |
In my opinion, the parents of this toddler are the world most irresponsible and careless parent, they got him addicted, have no control over him and are now seeking help to control him. How can you give a 2 year old such control? They did no parenting at all in allowing him pick that habit and helping him maintain it to 4o cigarettes a day, who was giving him the No 2 to number 20 to number 40 cigarettes? His parents. I hope they get help and make him stop cos he is just too young for that, see how it aged him? |
That is definitely a toddler not an adult, it is definitely the habit that aged him into a 40 something year old. This made me fear the effects of smoking the more, smokers should take note of this and be careful. This habit isn't a funny one at all. I have never smoked in my life but I like the sophisticated look smoking gives. I never really liked the idea of taking in smoke into my body and see it as one burning oneself up but I really have nothing against smokers. It's a kind of sophistication to me too that I can't even place and define, I just like that "alive and free" look that a smoker depicts. I am only fearing for the effects which this toddler made me see clearly here honestly. People who are very much into it should begin to cut down on it abeg, you can go mildly on it. A fifty something year old neighbour smoker now has a heart/lung disease, has vericose veins all over him and coughs heart-wrenching cough all day long. This is no funny habit at all. |
I couldn't help laughing at the creative stuffs you guys came up with and wish I can add another tangent to it that can keep the laughter rolling but No! this is at the expense of another person. We should have fun but not at the expense of our fellow beings. @Desolo and seanmykel Your comments about washing aboki and aboki still being aboki is not a very good one, here in NL people complain of being dissed abroad and other people using racial terms on us black. We should not look down on our fellow brothers because we feel they are not as exposed as we are. Come to think of it, in as much as that attitude is a timid one---kaita was only expressing himself the only way he knows how. Patriotism I believe is at the root of that, he wanted to use that opportunity so much to the advantage of the Nigerian team and became frustrated that the guy got the ball before him and his frustration was expressed through that kick. It all boils down to his love for Nigeria please quit castigating him. Now let me look for trouble (watch me do this)------All of una sef wey dey finish Kaita, he no better pass una. See as him name come appear for newspapers all over the world, radio stations na Kaita Kaita, Tv stations Kaita, you tube nko. Everybody call me Timaya (no I mean Kaita). Just because I'm getting famous, make una leave me alone( Kaita dey hot like fire). Kaita (say Kaita), Kaita, say Kaita. Abeg leave the poor baby alone for me Ojare, can't you see that he became mortified immediately and out of shame covered his face, what else do u Canuck and your clique of professional comedians want. Una don even give him the honour of being a dictionary word still e no do una. Kaita sweetheart, abeg find some country go chill and holiday for a while, this heat go too much for you abeg. |
@Yemikush I just saw your post dear and that picture that was almost doing justice to your new discovery. Oh my God, did you say the mental illness is called Kaitasis. I laughed hard, na you funny pass but now people haven't we hurled enough oral stones at the poor boy. It's enough now that the anger has died down, let's all push forward and look at other things that can improve our country and keep us abreast of other countries of the world. We have tried hard at keeping abreast of them footballwise and shouldn't down our gauntlets, we should find other means to keep up in the rat race called survival. Didn't Aaliyah Baby say we should "dust up our self and try again" and man Jay-z hung up his shoulder and sang "You got to get that dirt off your shoulder''., you gotta get that dirt off your shoulder, I am almost dancing cos right now I am feeling like going clubbing. Anybody game? |
Menek, don't despair sweetheart, the stone that has been rejected will someday become the corner stone. I can see a lifting on you (and on me too my brother). The greatness of that lifting will be deeper than the depth of your despair right now okay Baby. Hold on and watch and see God in action. It is good that you are not focused on the land they are dragging ( My uncle that had more lands than my father, went to our backyard in the village and carved out some lands for himself. When he died some years back the land aportioned to his dead body was just a mere rectangular piece of land). We will all leave land behind so leave them let them kill themselves over land. Someday you will have estates my brother, houses, businesses internationally and locally. Those greedy uncle wives of yours that are giving you the signal to leave grandma's mud house for them to possess it will come knocking on your gate for handouts. The lord said he has set before you an open heaven which no man can close, keep calling on him and when your blessings descend that is when these set of people will see his glory on you and begin to trip all around you. You have been through a lot dear but God will wipe those tears, he will. He sure will. |
@Constanz, You are too much man, how did you fix Kaita into the dictionary so fast. You are so funny. Your child has kaitad the house. You made me laugh my head off @190 You mean he was playing Shang tsung abi jackie chan. You funny no be small. @Activeman You too are so funny, don't be too angry with the poor boy abeg. @ ever sensible Mrbrown Thanks for being unbiased Abeg let's not all get too passionate, it's only a game. You sure can't win all the time. Let others be happy small kwanu and soon una go begin win again come dey jolly. Cheer up Pips |
Is it now that you guys are realizing what a gem we have in Enyeama? I did a long time ago. Each time I watch him keep goals in games, he always bring out a shout of "That's my baby" from me. Nobody messes with Enyeama, nobody! Check out that last goal he has already kept well,it wasn't his fault it went in after someone else kicked it back.If he were in position and balanced that ball could not have passed him. I don't like to bad talk players because playing ball is not easy, they did their best what I did not see in that field is synchronisation, I am not sure the combination of players were right. All in all, Naijas should not feel too down, it is only a game. Be happy when you win and when others win be equally happy for them. You can't win all the time. Cheer up Pips. |
Cap I heard you right but you and metal gong should find a way to apologise to her even if it means using her email address to do that out of the forum. Nothing justifies hurling those vitriolic words at her, put yourself in her shoes and see what it looks like having somebody tell you that. I respect you much, this does not remove an atom from that respect but just be a man about this and it will make a huge difference. Don't see this as sentiments and stuffs. I hope you and the other lady british born lady have talked things out and are already on to greater things, I still believe that somewhere lies amazing things you two can do to benefit our country. The sooner that begins the better, go on Baby, cheerio |
Do some of you saying these shocking things to bkbabe realize that it took a spirit of kinship for her to come to nairaland forum and lime and bond with us all. Whatever she has said to anybody, this lady does not deserve to be thrown these more-than-acidic and more-than-racist words. How can you guys talk to her like this? I know it was all said out of anger but now that the anger has died down, I know that Cap has realized he did not talk nice to her. Cap please go ahead and apologise to her, metal gong too. It doesn't take anything out of you two do that but makes our world a lovelier and more accommodating place. It wasn't our fault our race dispersed and mingled with the other races and wherever we meet our own we should still love one another, we blacks and the blackrooted mixed people have come a long way. This is not a good way for us all to relate in the diaspora. We should embrace and accommodate one another, shouldn't we? |
I feel for what you are going thru girlfriend but be careful what you do okay Baby, there is a thin line between sexual hunger/urge and your unhappy state of mind right now. You only felt good after that session because your body needed sexual satisfaction. Don't let your state of mind becloud your judgement, get your make-up bag, go shopping for sexy clothes, it's time to get a more mature man that will not wait to open up his mind until you are done shopping for your wedding and informing friends.A man that is there to give you the sexual healing when you need it, a man you can wake up after the deed and smile at not feel terrible okay sweetheart. Get your girlfriends, time to hit the club, I wish I were there in London and we will go paint clubs red cos I love to club. Square your shoulder and like Jay-z said " You gotta shake that dirt off your shoulder. You go girl. |
@Tolutara I am very happy for you dear, you made a sensible choice. If you had gone for a flashy-please -the-whole-world-wedding, you and your spouse would have been miles behind where you are today. It pays to be oneself and go after one's heart instead of opting to impress the world. @Mama Gee Girlfriend, I can't believe you said that. I did tell the guys throwing words at you to leave you that you are a baby and that they should not be hard on you but Gee how can you call this our guy unorganised and say his lady is better off without him just because he isn't with enough cash for his wedding? Do you realize that this is bothering him enough to come out in the open here with it? Now if you want me to still consider you cute and wonderful, kindly go back and modify that statement of yours into something nicer and kinder, you don't want to disappoint your Number One fan, do you? |
@Mr Brown with respect to your post [please stop talking nonsense to sell any of your phoney product. . . . . . . . . . . . . its a clear case of BEING TIRED OF THE TOTO!!!by what you just wrote, we can clearly understand that your hubby doesnt care anymore about satisfying you. this toto doesnt excite him anymore. you can bet whatever you want that if he had a different women in front of him, he would be doing the multiple long rounds like before. the sad part is that this is completely natural.you have to find what excites him and make your bedroom acrobatics FUN and EXCITING again. different men, different solution] No woman wants to be told that her husband is tired of her thing, this can only depress the poster more. You also cannot be too confident (in as much you seem knowledgeable in bedmatics--smile, kudos to you too!) that that is her husband's problem. Most men are not aware that bedroom gymnastic is not all about their satisfaction, little wonder the poor husband is not as concerned as she is about her satisfaction. A man is supposed to think about satisfying his woman through other ways if all of a sudden he started climaxing too early. Other factors can contribute to it like getting overly excited, financial worries can also make him just want to take his satisfaction and rest. On the other hand, the advice below which you also gave the poster is the bomb, I have read a lot of advices to women on keeping the fire of their marital sexual life burning and you have it perfect here. @ poster It's truly all about spicing things up, you may not have the confidence to bring in the toys, dress up and role play (I know our culture, your husband may even shout that"you are now corrupt" or may even accuse you of learning that from other men) you need time to sweet talk and persuade him into trying those(that is if you two are not already into that) but see how you can add some spice and make things less monotonous in other simpler ways. If you are not already doing these, you can try them. Talk to him to see if he is undergoing stuffs you can share and sort out with him, Bring in some flowers into the dining room and bedroom, cook him his special meal and seduce him slowly all day long, use scented candles to have the house smelling exotic, douse your bedsheets with romantic perfumes, get seductive short skirts and tight pants to wear in the house for him, leave notes in his pockets or in his lunch pack with promises of what you will do for him if he gets you to climax too, go ahead send him text message during the day telling him that tonight "you are gonna be a naughty girl"(according to Beyonce) or that "tonight you will let him be the captain"(Rihanna) or you can subtly send him your message by playing such music for him in the evening while preparing his dinner. I am sure that by the time dinner is ready he might be wanting to skip dinner to eat you first, only remember to put on your seduction mode before you get down to the real thing and remind him of the goodies that awaits him if he gets you to climax. Work what you've got girl ! and see if you won't be rocking his world. SThese tantrics will definitely de-stress and unwind him enough to go as ten for long as you want. You go girl! Search online and read books and magazines on how to add the blings to your marriage. I recommend cosmopolitan and redbook. [its all about desires/excitement/attraction. . . . . . . everyone gets tired of the same all routine and, unless you guys make your se*xual life exciting again then, you will end up with a 2mins man in the long run. be creative, do different exciting stuff, bring toys, dress up, roleplay etc whatever you do, do something different that the both of you enjoyalso taking care of your appearance is VERY important.] |
I think it's high time people began to knock down all these perceptions with which we Nigerians get hard on ourselves. Honestly, I can still remember the look on my father and sister's face the times that I have jokingly told them that my wedding reception will just comprise of 10 people seated around a table in some restaurant, what were they bothered about "what people will say". That does not bother me and when the time comes my wedding might just be like that or even on a lower note than that. I am tired of us giving ourselves hypertension for what people will say and to make people applaud us and stuff. Poster please there's no law that said you don't have to wed if you do not have lots of money, a very sensible banker I know in lagos only wedded with just 4 people in attendance:himself and his bride, his brother and his brother's wife. They went home , sat around and ate. This is a man that is developing his plot at Lekki and he definitely preferred to spend his money in providing a roof over his family to splashing money in a wedding to get the nod of Nigerians. It's really high time we all broke out of these societal boxes we keep trying to fit ourselves into even when it hurts us. |
Yeah I agree with Mrbrown and is happy for him. If you watch him here, he isn't really bitching but living, laughing, relating and enjoying his life. Live your life my brother. @all bickering parties here Nothing constructive comes out of these arguments on who will outdo who in the exchange of words, it beats me that proffessionals like you guys are stooping this low here. I keep imagining great stuffs minds like you all can come up with if it were a brainstorming session going on here. What's wrong with you guys? Can you stop this please and let's talk about ideas: ideas that can lift Nigeria from squalor and poverty. If all these great pips in this forum can put heads together we can come up with stuffs like opening skill development centres for Nigeria, yes I think it's high time our country began to emphasis on not only schooling and getting degrees. A lot of Nigerians are out there in the hustling field abroad with no certificate and skills and have to work all kind of menial jobs that make others look down on us and mete out all these behaviour people are talking about here to us. The Chinese amaze me with the acquisition of skills, little chinese children do amazing things because they are trained in time and see how their country is prospering, every family with their own little factory. Come on people, let's not bicker, let's put ideas together for a greater Nigeria, we are the youths and the hope of our great nation, Aren't we? |
Alleluiah, Glory to God! This is how we should all live, being one another's brother irrespective of tribe, country, continent and race. Isn't this heavenly? Let us build up instead of pulling down and delight in the welfare of others. Somebody Shout! Make some noise! (Don't mind me, sometimes I do forget I am not in the church but shouldn't we glory in the lord at all times?) |
Cap and Angiefan, both of you should not say another vitriolic words and disappoint us the more. You two are such great talents that should inspire the youths of our country or are you both not aware of that? I mean I am already impressed you both achieved all that for yourself but these exchange of words that had me dodging here are unbecoming of great people like you. Your work here in Nairaland should be about building people up as you have been doing, encouraging, advising and directing where necessary not wasting such great energy on acidic words. It does not fit your profiles at all and you two must make up and get on to more positive talks for example "how to help stranded and helpless Nigerian immigrants where you are get on their feet". That way you can contribute to our country in your birth countries. I can imagine the great things forces like you two can achieve together for Nigeria. Now you two go ahead, smile and make up. Come on Angie, Capy Baby, Anuofia just does not fit a beautiful learned lady like Angie, does it? No you didn't even say the word, it's only because she got on your nerves. Will like to see you two make up and get positive for us all. Thanks |
The Congo is the BOMB! Come on, who said he isn't? Salute! Mr. Congo. |
@Ola I'm not too old to have children at 33, there is no justification to validate a lady's fertility before marriage. You can get her pregnant and gladly take her to the altar and anything can happen to the pregnancy after the wedding. The other lady that trapped her man with her pregnancy can lose it too after getting married and tying the knot. So what becomes of a marriage based on all these when such happens? In the first case the man may become frustrated and even take it out on the woman, in the second case the man will definitely be unhappy too and will begin to feel real trapped without the baby(he is looking forward to which is the only thing that made him get into the marriage in the first place). It sure isn't a good base for marriage. |
Did you lose your spouse dear? Do accept my sympathy, sorry okay Baby. |
Poster, I saw where you mentioned wanting to study nursing. Run with it, it is a good course of study, I will advise you get into a business while studying nursing. When you graduate, many people here can help you with the connection with which to travel to the west and earn very well. If they succeed with a job for you here, it is still good but see how you can study that nursing okay Baby. |
May God bless all helping here, can't afford to help with cash but if he decides for business, I can convince a business friend that travels to import from China and he can help him in buying goods like clothes, shoes etc for him to market. |
I really don't understand some of us Nigerians, some men will rather get a woman pregnant (and even wait and watch the pregnancy take form fully) before going ahead to pay a woman's dowry and on the other side some women will intentionally get pregnant to trap a man. These men are merely trying to outsmart God by playing Mr. Smart while the women are in a desperate rush to be married like others and be respected by our society. Down in my village there are many unmarried ladies dragging their men into unplanned marriage. What's up with us? Are we as a society being too hard on ourselves? A man in this case might just be trying to avoid being mocked by the society if the woman he marries cannot have children while the ladies here are trying to be married and escape parental, siblings and societal pressure. Will you blame them much when it is our society that will still look down on them if they are of age and unmarried. |
@konjour You advise here is the bomb, yes it shouldn't be all about the bling brother. |
