Morpheus

I already said that! That girlchild simply has no melanin, her features are black features not white (the lips and nose and face structure are like ours).
She may not be an albino as the doctors said but the whiteness of her skin shows that she simply does not have melanin like us in the tropical region. I am proud of that woman's husband, a little medical problem like this can send the family members scattered in all direction like some people are already threatening here. I am glad mature people like that mister still exist, very glad.

That girlchild is not white, she is black. Her facial structures does not even suggest a mixture of white. In my own opinion, I think it is the skin pigmentation at play here (melanin), she simply has no melanin. The man is a wise man for sticking by his wife and trusting her, others may ditch her and run only to discover their mistake as the years go by.

The Congo you have such beautiful heart, may your generation never suffer lack in Jesus name. You stretched your hands over boundaries to come here to lift one of our own up even when some Nigerians are still too suspicious to believe that this young fella needs help (not that I am blaming them for their suspicions, many of us have done greedy stuffs and businesses that have thrown trust out of the window).

You are a wonderful man. It is men like you that should sit in ruling places because you have a heart for others. May the blessings of God never cease from you. God bless you and all others that are supporting menek here.

Nigerian men make the world's best husband! True or False? I am opting for true, we are real homely in Nigeria. Good morals and we take our marital vows serious. What is your opinion?

Nairaland General › Re: Its Time To Leave Nl by Ivynwa(f): 3:06pm On Jun 30, 2010
Caro sweetheart, I hope we did not scare you out of here while getting overjoyed over Ghana's win over the US and making insensitive remarks that made you uncomfortable. Please stay with us, don't go Baby-----we love you Caro. One thing I have realized is that nothing can take away patriotism in a human being and people will always naturally be inclined to their own people, get happy when their people are winning(even in a simple of football) and unhappy when they are losing.
We can't wait to chat with you again Caro, It was very sweet of you to come lime with us Nigerians. God bless you sweetheart and do keep your mind open. Concerning your other thread, Make up wt your family especially momsie, life is too short to be missing out on the love of your family members. Take care of yourself sweetie.
Nairaland General › Who Said That Nairaland Is Not Addictive? Lol by Ivynwa(op): 12:53am On Jun 30, 2010
I have come to the conclusion that NL is addictive and that I have to watch it. The things NL makes me do nowadays is amazing, It was while getting into bed at 2am (because I was on NL all night long) that I remembered that I was supposed to read up and learn important stuffs concerning a new job I just started. Woke up real late this morning and ended up late at work.
I sulk that I can't use my laptop at work because of the nature of my job. Even when I am running late to work in the morning, I still manage to find time to peruse through NL. As soon as I come back from work and unlocking my door, I am already putting on the laptop with my bag on my shoulder, by the time I am eating-----I am already on Nairaland(Laptop and plate of food side by side). I haven't slept well for 3 nights now because of the late nights I keep in NL.
All the same I am having much fun here, I meet great Nigerians and communicating with you guys heals me of homesickness to some extent. I live alone too and through NL I get a good dose of laughter each day but honestly I gotta watch this addiction that NL is fast becoming because addictions? I hate them.

Keep your mind open girl. He might even be doing you a favour. It's a case of

Flex your wing and fly like butterfly----if you-u-u-u-u return to me----"

Remember who sang that? Maria Carey
If you are meant for each other and are destined to be, what will be will be. If not you may meet another awesome person there.
Thank God that this thread is not reading like
"OMG, I travelled out, met BF B and don't know how to break BF A's heart"-----smile
Romance › Re: My Sister Had My Boyfriend's Baby. Forgive Her? Not? by Ivynwa(f): 9:32pm On Jun 28, 2010
Poor Baby! The cord of family binds stronger than momentary sexual attraction dear, do the noble thing and forgive and you mustn't lose another minute away from your family. Do make up with everybody because if any of them passes away (I don't pray for that dear) you will hurt more and regret not spending time with them.

Ask others it happens, when you lose a family member, you will wish you gave them more time and attention. Enjoy them while you all are here.
Romance › Re: Marry A Lady Your Friend Used And Dumped? by Ivynwa(f): 4:47am On Jun 28, 2010
I am of the same opinion as Vivaladiva.

The male and the female in a relationship mutually enjoys each other and derive pleasure and gratification from each other, why do some of our Nigerian men always consider the female ones "used and even dumped"?
Tell me how will you feel if someone else considers you "used and dumped" by an 'ex-girfriend" after the two of you separates. You need to get more respect for women up your sleeve, my brother.
Why don't you start by modifying the topic of that thread of yours into a softer tone that respects women because as it is it is an afront on the dignity of women. Little wonder Viva was mad at you. Every woman will be so bear wt her.

Let me add that it is this attitude that is spoiling things in our country today, a lady that mistakenly gets pregnant before marriage becomes an outcast so who wants to be considered wild and written off by the society. The ladies now go to great length to cover up such mistakes and we have people throwing away children and aborting.
A lady that divorced from her husband perhaps due to no fault of hers is looked down as second hand and "used and dumped"
A widow that has no husband is castigated if she dares to date, is she not human, should she stop living because her husband died.

We are too self righteous and judgemental, the sooner we begin to let up a little bit the better for us all.
Maybe if you begin to view intimacy in another light and as something as natural as eating( I am not supporting the wrong use of it, I still deem it right within marriage) your concept of it might be healthier. Some of us grow up seeing it as something unhealthy and dirty which is why we have these mentalities.
Family › Re: Pls Help! Were Growing Apart by Ivynwa(f): 2:57am On Jun 28, 2010
@poster
Miss Chaircover and Miss Mutter are stuffs great wives are made of, do follow their advice dear. It is good that you try to share your husband's interest with him even when you have no interest there, wives are always advised to do that,  I have read that up from different sources. It's the same thing like a mother wl bring out time to watch her kid play wt his school basketball team even when she does not like the game. If you keep burying yourself in your novel night after night, both of you wl drift further apart.

Concerning my advice to up or get a different look that can draw wows from your husband and to try making your husband look hotter for you, I did not mean that something is wrong wt your look girlfriend. I know you sure are a fabulous lady. Was just suggesting some ways to spice things up to prevent things from getting too monotonous, I am sorry if that made you feel bad okay Baby.
