Shell Companies in Nigeria (SCiN), in collaboration with the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) has launched the 2016-2017 stream of its Graduate internship programme. This programme was developed to promote human capital development in the Nigerian oil and gas industry. The 12-month programme supports manpower development in engineering and geology/geoscience disciplines and equips graduates with vital industry experience.

PETAN has over 50 member companies that provide specialised services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. The interns who participate in this programme will work in one of PETAN’s member companies for 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate must be an Engineering or a Geology/Geoscience graduate

2. The candidate must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps year and have the discharge certificate

3. Candidate should not possess more than 3 years’ work experience post-NYSC

4. Candidate should be 28 years or younger

What is the lesson learnt

If the driver of the vehicle you are in,whether luxury bus,sienna,hiace,danfo,vanagon,keke,tuketuke,okada, anything sha is overspeeding or driving recklessly, caution him ,or tell him to drop you that you no dey go again. Make sure you insight as much passengers as you can so that he reduces his speed.

Please I'm in need of a job. Please don't see it as strange that a lawyer should come out in open to look for a job. i have been silent and shy about it for so long a time. Now I am being humiliated because I'm not working and I don't have cash. I know people and colleagues will suggest i go look join a law firm. Am not asking you to buy innoson. Its better to demand for an improved quality than just conclude the his products are shit and that nobody should buy them. Brother, its not easy to start something that the foreigners have already dominated. Even if you bring japanese technology and start manufacturing them here,as long as its nigerian,patronage will be low. Every time we heard, something in made in Nigeria, we jubilate, not minding if its worth it, bcoz if its from south, yorubas will hail it, if its from east, igbos will hail it.
