hartson: Hi ,What do you mean here? Investors who have money in the company should write it off. Why? Because Maxwell Odum is a sociopath. You have entered his trap. He now knows he can toy with your emotions and string you all along as he perfectly understands it takes a certain type of person to fall for the scam in the first place. He has absolutely no emphaty. It’s a game to him and what motivates him now is how to retain the fancy properties in PH and Abuja, maintain his freedom and ability to jet all over the world in style. Nothing that was not predicted on this forum. |

Calculated risks! Hehe You can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. If it's still promising higher than usual guaranteed monthly ROI, it's a ponzi. If it does not register with the SEC as a collective investment scheme, it's a ponzi. Will crash. |

n3xt: I always do. I even did same in my recently completed project in Ibadan. We manage to squeeze out a 36sqm space from the attic. I was counting on you. Perhaps share details (on the linked thread if you prefer), might help some here. Seems it has to be something considered at the Architectural stage, something my build missed out on. Things like - strengthening the wooden decks, specifying the correct roof linings, providing access (wooden stairs), providing adequate ventilation etc Perhaps a potential viable business is retrofitting these into the gigantic traditional roof spaces that have been the norm. Just needs thinking out of the box to do the math and make this cost effective and therefore a no-brainer. I trust our people though - they will provide a million reasons why ths should not be done. |

The high roof, or the contemporary style? Flat roof x 100. Aesthetics really. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes this new year. |

Any man that chooses a single mother over virgins and girls without baggages is reeking of very very low self esteem and definitely not self-aware.

megacontrol: Hello people,
Pls what is the capacity of the power generator that will be installed in a TYPICAL 5-bedroom duplex?
I know load calculation is normally required but I'm looking to hear from our seasoned M&E specialists, builders, home owners etc. that may have experience with such.
Let's just say the building has everything - A/Cs, water heaters and all whatnot in all the rooms. Roughly will do for now
Thanks It takes a 27KVA 3 phase gen to run my 5 bedroom complex. -> 1.5hp AC in all rooms + 3hp AC (2hp + 1hp) for living room/dining, fully kitted kitchen, individual water heaters, flood security lights etc. |

RosyIsBlessed: It's obvious you live in bribe so you think everyone's life revolves around bribe. Tho I doubt if the bribe is helping you else you won't be this jobless to troll investors. The self importance of these greedy ponzi chasers is staggering. Look. No one gives a toss about you and the other jokers cursing and abusing on the MBA thread. You are not 'investors' in the sense you merely donated your emotions and brainpower in the service of a Grade 1 scammer called Maxwell Odum. You are a disgrace to your education, that's all. michlins: I went with my friend to his village in Ebonyi State,as we were going,a small boy of around 8 was begging my friend to take him with him because he's tired of staying in the village with zero prospect. At that time, I was still engaged with my boss. If not, I will take that boy immediately and teach him my job. Child labor consequences be damned Where we differ is I'll send him to school as his primary focus if I choose to help. |

michlins: will you be willing to sponsor the education. At least he's better than those ones begging on the streets. Five years time and he will be hustling for jobs and taking care of his bills. Is there a shortage of young adults that you would choose an 8 year old child to come and work for you? Society owes that child an education, not hard labor at this age. And, yes, Society includes you. You almost sound proud of the fact you are employing an 8 year old. 'Sentimentality' should not be a dirty word here. Would anyone not feel sentimental when they think for a moment it was their own child? You are breaking the law. |

spyder880: I hope you are not neglecting the other one because it's not a finished work with paints, tiles and all? I think the clever Architect has simply introduce three symmetrical portions into the frontage, each with its own contemporary design cues. None dominates the other (eg, the expanded glass facade on the far right complements the bigger cantilevered balcony on the far left). IMO, much more naturally eye-pleasing as a result. The previous design was a bit assymetric and you end up using more brain power to appreciate it, not that it was a terrible design. Good luck and thanks for sharing. |

spyder880: No, I am working out a new look for the exterior of this building, and since the changes wont affect the floor layout, we are continuing with the DPC, then forming some of the walls. I have described my suggested changes to my client, and my architect is working right now on the 3d rendition of the new plan. I will share the picture here when it's ready. Someone said ' awesome'. I will add ' inspirational'. This is how it should be done. I envy your client. Good luck for the rest of the build. |

amakadlite: you were warned by several folks here but you went ahead. I want to qoate and warm you but I noticed several people did. I have a sister in-law who is hypertensive now because of MBA. My sister, stories like these are actually very veryvsad. On the MBA thread, people endured abuses, curses and threats to continually educate potential 'investors' (or victims) what a ponzi scheme really is. There is nothing new about it, always dressed differently. I guess the group think was just too alluring. This is what the scammers like Maxwell Odum count on. I pray your sister is OK in the end. |
