CNN has different markets. The adverts you see are based on the region you are watching CNN from. If you are in South Africa, you will see mainly adverts of South African companies.

From a South African who watches CNN on a regular basis - what you just said is not true.Even here in South Africa when we watch CNN all we see is adverts of Nigerian companies the OP mentioned.At one point I used to think that Americans are advertising Nigerian companies for free because they are eying the oil in Nigeria.

So all Tanzania did was translate the words of OUR national anthem to Swahili.Whether or not it wasn't a national anthem in South Africa at the time is not the point.It was written by a South African before TZ even existed.

Actually we had our own lyrics of SA and Congolese music back in the day The lyrics sounded so close to Kenyan words and people would fill them with local words to come up with very funny lyrics.
